New Character

Hey all, I'm looking for ideas for a new character after the time skip. I was thinking of some sort of resistance/rebel soldier but I want something more creative and I was wondering if anyone has any good ideas or suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Make an anarchist, someone who works with the Hutt cartel for funds to buy explosives, and gas, then uses those to blow up and burn government buildings.

Make a Chiss or an Umbaran warrior, one who would support the Rebellion.

Maybe a member of Alliance Intelligence (Or one of the larger police forces like CorSec) who was working undercover in the Galactic South (AKA the area not conquered) before the Sith arrived, and are now cutoff? Sort of a Michael Weston-ish character who really wants to join the Rebels but is stuck with Indies for a while at first.

Make a duros mechanic/saboteur who messes the crap out of enemy vehicles and such.

No, no, no. Do Umbaran or Chiss. There are not enough Umbarans or Chiss to go around. Plus Umbarans and Chiss are awesome. Or better yet, make a Trandoshan. I haven't seen any Trandoshans, and they don't seem to be a disallowed species.

Or better yet, don't do what everyone tells you to do, and rather use us to find inspiration for what it is you want to do, that way it's your character. So, is there any species in particular that interests you, would you rather stick around near-humans or go complete alien, give us your thoughts so we can give you ours.
