I'm taking 4 A levels at the moment, and as such have to attend pretty much full time schooling (8am-4pm minimum every weekday. I'm usually not home until 6 because of other commitments too though). I manage to balance my free time, and at weekends between a mountain of homework (typically 14 hours worth a week), a social life, this place and whatever else I do (like playing for a football team, or playing a video game, or writing or whatever else). Sometimes I'm working till gone 11 or even midnight on an essay, but I know I've got to do it...it's about taking responsibility. I live with my family, so I don't have to worry about those kinds of costs so much, but a social life, and most other aspects of my life take money, and I work in the holidays sometimes, or some weekends. Time management isn't that hard, and if you really wanted to do it it's not just a case of you "could", but you just would.
Well said.
One thing you have to remember, Mulluns, is that virtually everyone is going through tough economic times, yet most of them who are young still manage to go to school and have a job. Although it's noble, at 19 if you're making money your first priority should be to get a good education so you can get a real job that will actually support your family. Quzzinos is not going to do your family a whole lot of good, at least in the long term, but your education will.
