Hello everyone,
I'm excited to announce that we will be hosting a special event for our new members on SWRP! Over the next few weeks, we have planned an engaging experience that revolves around a DMed thread on the fanon planet of Verona.
To ensure a fair participation, only members who joined our site in the last six months (after December 1st, 2022) will be eligible to join this event. Upon joining, new members will be divided into three teams based on their chosen character: Jedi Order, Sith Order, and third-party factions like the Empire or independent entities.
Each team will have specific primary and secondary objectives to accomplish within the DMed thread. Additionally, teams are encouraged to cleverly sabotage the objectives of opposing teams, adding an element of strategic gameplay to the event.
To keep the action flowing smoothly, there will be strict 48-hour posting rounds. In between each round, I will provide a DM post to move the story forward and ensure everyone remains engaged.
Although the entire event will take place within a single thread, participants are not required to stay together. You have the freedom to explore different paths and undertake separate actions as you see fit.
Veteran members are invited to keep an eye on the thread, as the new members may uncover hidden surprises or unveil secrets that could impact the overall storyline.
To join the event, there is no need for sign-ups. Every new member can join, tag in, or leave the event whenever they wish, allowing for flexibility and seamless integration.
This event's OP will be posted in 48 hours, giving everyone time to prepare their characters and ideas. If you have any questions, please post them here, and I will respond as promptly as possible.

In the verdant expanse of Verona, a cosmic saga prepares to unfurl. From the noble House of Capulet, a proclamation resonates throughout the celestial sphere, a grand design to erect a space station of unparalleled stature. A bastion of power and prestige, a symbol of Capulet's indomitable reign, echoing their supremacy in the unfathomable expanses of the cosmos.
Yet, this ambitious endeavor rouses apprehension within the stalwart hearts of House Montague, rulers of Verona's moon, Escalus. Fearing encroachment upon their celestial dominion, they orchestrate a planetary blockade, a manifestation of dissent. Like an interstellar bulwark, they stand resolute, halting the Capulet's grand project, casting a shadow of defiance across the universe.
In an attempt to quench the flames of discord, a peace summit is convened, a gathering of adversaries under the banner of negotiation. Yet, the concave of compromise yields naught but the echoes of failed accord. Tensions, like the strings of a celestial harp, are strummed to a haunting melody, and threats of war reverberate, resonating ominously within the grand chamber.
Amidst this maelstrom of strife, an unforeseen tendril of hope takes root. The scion of House Montague, in the bloom of youthful idealism, is ensnared by the charms of the Capulet heir. A clandestine affection sprouts in this garden of animosity. Desperate to quell the rising tempest, the Montague progeny reaches out to the Jedi Order, seeking their renowned wisdom and legendary prowess to restore harmony.
Yet, the web of intrigue tightens. The Capulet patriarch, informed by the whispers of clandestine agents, learns of the Montague's appeal to the Jedi. Fearful of unilateral intervention and a potential shift in the balance of power, he sends a clandestine missive to the Sith Order, beseeching their dark expertise to turn the tide of impending conflict.
Observing the chaos unfolding, Friar Lawrence, the venerable head of Verona's clergy, is compelled to intervene. Witnessing his beloved Verona teetering on the precipice of war, he assumes the mantle of the peacemaker. An open contract is issued, a plea for third parties who might aid in weaving a tapestry of tranquility, rescuing Verona from the jaws of impending destruction.
Thus, in the cosmic theater of Verona, a tale of power, passion, and paradox is set to unfold, a testament to the eternal struggle between love and enmity, order and chaos, light and darkness. -

In response to the distress call from the young Montague scion, a contingent of experienced Jedi diplomats and strategists, armed with their sophisticated acumen and command of the Force, delineates a twofold mission.
Their first objective involves an operation, codenamed "Verdant Dialogue", aiming to bring both Houses back to the negotiation table. The Jedi diplomats, renowned for their fairness and tact, plan to employ a blend of diplomacy and the persuasive subtleties of the Force to alleviate the volatile impasse, working to dispel fears and foster understanding between the feuding factions.
The second aspect of their mission, "Nimbus Shield", is a protective measure. With their advanced precognitive abilities, Jedi Knights will monitor Verona and Escalus for signs of Sith activity, ready to counter any aggression or manipulation. They will also strive to uncover the extent of the Sith's involvement and expose their designs to the galactic community, thereby rallying support for a peaceful resolution.
Each step is fraught with uncertainty, but the Jedi, guided by the steady glow of the Force, stand resolute, ready to navigate the labyrinthine crisis enveloping Verona. - SITH ORDER

Steeped in the darkest corners of the universe, an assembly of Sith strategists and practitioners respond to the Capulet's call, initiating "Operation Nighthawk" — a complex interplay of subterfuge, manipulation, and power politics.
The first phase, "Viper's Grasp," is centered around consolidating the Capulets' power. Using their arcane skills in manipulation and control, Sith operatives work to strengthen the Capulets' resolve, influence their decisions, and shape their political narrative. The ultimate objective: ensure the successful construction of the space station and cement Capulet's—and by extension, the Sith Order's—dominance in the Outer Rim.
The second phase, "Veil of the Phantom," involves Sith infiltrators taking on identities within both House Capulet and Montague, meticulously sowing discord, fostering resentment, and exacerbating fears of Jedi intervention. Their aim: to stir unrest and ensure that peace negotiations remain a futile endeavor.
With these carefully orchestrated maneuvers, the Sith engage in a grand galactic chess game. Each move, steeped in secrecy and cunning, pulls the strings of the Veronese crisis, steering it towards a future shaped in the crucible of the Sith's insidious ambitions. - THIRD PARTIES

Mobilized by Friar Lawrence's desperate plea, an independent coalition of galactic negotiators, covert operatives, and revolutionary sympathizers - known as "The Veronese Accord" - embarks on a mission called "Operation Seraphim Balance".
The first phase, "Lionheart Uprising", seeks to instigate a grassroots movement for political change, subtly pushing the populace to question the aristocratic rule. By highlighting the wisdom and peace provided by Friar Lawrence and the clergy, they intend to pave the way for a peaceful transition of power towards a theocratic governance.
In parallel, "Elysium's Whisper", utilizes covert operatives skilled in information acquisition and strategic infiltration. Their mission: to expose the clandestine machinations of both the Sith and Jedi, revealing their manipulations to Veronese society and undermining their influence.
Through these varied operations, The Veronese Accord aims to disarm the current crisis, dethrone the feuding aristocracy, and elevate a theocratic order that prioritizes peace and unity over power and rivalry.
