Back home, everything went on at night. Hunts, gatherings, and chores all happened under the soft light of her planet's moon. Her mothers taught her how to weave under the stars, guiding her nimble fingers in and out of the silk threads to depict the speckled sky above them. But here, with the Sith, Llolith had to abandon her nocturnal clock in favor of the daytime.

Her classes started shortly after the sun rose and didn't end until after it reached its peak. She ate in the shade of academy trees, trained in the courtyards with half-closed eyes under
sunglasses, and scribbled out her homework in dimly lit classrooms.

She didn't really mind it though. It had been the hardest thing to adapt to after arriving here years ago. Her body had eventually adjusted, and waking up instead of winding down with the sun was easier now than before.

The acolyte would be lying if she said she didn't still prefer the night. Sometimes, before settling down, she liked to wander out to the courtyards, stare up into the sky, and study the stars. To Llolith and her nine eyes, the sky was an ebony, milky void with splatters of dim white and burning red stars. During the day, it was just a wash of saturated blue, but the sun made it difficult for her to stare up into it anyways. Unfortunately, a lot of her training was done outside in the glare of the sun.

"Alright class, we're bringing in a more advanced class to spare today. No sabers, so sheathe your weapons."

"An advanced class?" Llolith adjusted her sunglasses to better cover her primary eyes, then glanced over at the entrance to the courtyard where the more advanced students were now arriving from. There were five of them in total, and they were all older than Llolith and her peers. "Cool."

As instructed, she sheathed her weapons. Her sabers snapped off, and Llolith clipped them to the left side of her utility belt before looking back up at the newcomers. The acolyte absentmindedly adjusted the sleeves of her shirt to protect her skin from the harsh rays of the sun then made sure her hair was still securely tied into a bun at the nape of her neck.

"Line up. We're partnering you up."

Llolith fell into a line with her four other classmates and waited as one by one they were paired up with someone from the more advanced class. She wondered, "Who am I going to be paired with?" Her eyes jumped from person to person as names were called, then finally landed on a pretty brunette as her instructor called out the last pairing.

"Lastly, Trent and Uttu."

It was a day like any other. Class. Boring classes and not much action. She internally sighted , but she had at least learned not to express such things openly anymore. Soon she would be done with the classes and finally promoted and she couldn't wait. Generally, she enjoyed field trips and outside missions much more than classes, but well...today was class day.

She wasn't exactly mentally absent, but she was also not fully listening. She was focused on ther thoughts like what she would do after the classes, what she had planned for the weekend and maybe also where to grab the next drinks. The daily life here at the academy was frustrating every now and then and yes, alcohol helped.

As the instructor mentioned the advanced class she glanced back and directed her attention towards the main action, a brow raised in curiosity. She strongly doubted that this would actually require some advanced skills, but maybe, maaaaaybe this would be slightly more interesting than the rest.

As the pairings were announced Nova put her lightsaber away like instructed, assuming that they would probably work with the Force and that was completely fine with her. She wanted action and perhaps this day would be a good one. As the name Uttu fell, she knew exactly who that was...after all, the spider lady was quite unique.

Nova wasn't exactly keen on spiders, but she didn't know too much about her so she tried not to judge her. She was pretty after all and perhaps working with her would be fun. "Hi, I'm Nova" she introduced herself confidently after she had approached the blonde. She even forced herself to a smile while she was hoping the blonde would be a nice one.

"Nova? That's a pretty name." Llolith repeated the name in silence after she said it, letting the silent word roll off her tongue. Before she could get around to introducing herself, the instructor called out for each pairing to assume a defensive stance with two meters in between them.

"Hands up and knees bent," he barked. "Get to three seconds with your opponent pinned to the ground and you can call it a win."

"Three seconds?" Her chin tilted down toward her chest, her hands came up in fists to protect her face, and all nine of her eyes stayed trained on Nova as she began to slowly back up to make two meters in between them. "Challenge accepted."

"Go."

Llolith advanced forward first, slid to a stop, pivoted, then aimed a swift kick at Nova's right side with the top of her foot.

Oh so...the spider girl was sweet and friendly? Nova was slightly surpised, as she was not used to such remarks from fellow students. She was definitely positively surpised, but it took her a moment to process the blonde's nice comment, so that before she could answer, the instructor already chimed in again.

Nova had no idea what was about to come, but once the instructor was done, she smirked a bit. "And you are-" she began, not quite sure whether she was remembering her more complicated first name properly, but before she could even finish her sentence, the blonde attacked.

Oh boy. She was fast. And apparently feisty. Something Nova usually liked, but she had preferred some small talk first, especially because she was usually not the one who blindly and immediately followed the instructions. The nine eyes confused her a bit, or one could have said that they were slightly distracting, but Nova was still not planning on letting that interfere with their training.

Even though slightly suprised by that fast attack, she immediately reacted by stepping forward as well, thereby closing the last bit of distance while she reached out with both hands, attempting to grab the girl's foot by the ankle before she would vigorously oull it upwards, hoping to throw her off balance with that. If sucessful, the blonde would find herself being knocked down on her ass and Nova would instantly try to work with that next.

It was never the best idea to kick someone who had the full capability of catching your leg and making you regret that decision. Fortunately, Llolith had gone into the attack with that in mind.

As soon as Nova grabbed her foot, the acolyte quickly and aggressively straightened her grounded leg - giving her a bit of momentum - while pulling herself in toward Nova by bending her extended leg's knee toward her own chest. The result was that the smaller, lighter Llolith was pulled up and quickly toward her opponent's chest. Nova yanking her leg upward as this happened didn't necessarily help or hurt Llolith's movements, though it would force Nova's center of gravity upward with her arms.

In order to not just fall back onto the ground, Llolith's hands shot out as she basically climbed into Nova's arms, snaked their way around the nape of her neck, and interlocked to brace the older girl's head in advance. "Llolith," she finally answered in the few moments they had. Their faces were incredibly close together, and Nova would be able to discern the details in Llolith's nine citrine eyes. And vice verse, minus about seven. "You have very pretty eyes."

Not a moment later after the compliment, Llolith threw all of her weight backward, intending to flip Nova forward and over onto her back. If she was successful, it might potentially knock the breath out of her, but Llolith's clasped hands on the back of her neck would hopefully alleviate any whiplash.

So that spider girl wanted to play...but there were were always two that could play such games. Nova had had enough training so be spontaneous enough to react, even if the blonde's maneuver was clearly unexpected and rather unorthodox even.

The spider girl - right, Llolith was her name- was clever. She had to admit that. However she was lucky that this was just a trainings fight and that Nova was always holding back in such friendly settings as she had been scolded for being too brutal way too often.

She had learned not to hurt her partners to unnecessary extents and she couldn't even hold back a smirk as Llolith shot into her arms, her own arms wrapped around her neck while the smaller woman almost sat on her chest. Nova staggered backwards with that momentum, even being forced to step back, before Llolith even wanted to push her down.

Not that she was heavy, but she had definitely surpised her, not just with that jump, but also with her cheeky comment. "Oh so do you. And your hair is amazing". Nova usually no one to give away compliments easily, but the younger acolyte was pretty and what she did there was kinda hot.

Still, Nova wouldn't let her have that win. Her lips curled into a smirk as she tried to pull her backwards and she happily followed her movement to the ground. By not resisting her push she did indeed land roughly, but she could still absorb the impact as she had been rather prepared. Still, the air was pressed out of her lungs for a moment. Llolith held on tightly in with that both of them landed with a thud, but Nova intended to change the tides of their little sparing.

She immediately rolled to the side, using her whole strength for that purpose, trying to turn the two of them around. As Llolith was still wrapped around her, it wouldn't be too hard to bring the lightweight to the ground, or so she hoped at least. If she would be successful, the blonde would be on her back, Nova right above her, their faces still dangerously close. She would wink at the girl regardless, even if she would still be the one on the ground, as she had planned another counterattack. "You know, usually I wait for a second date..." she playfully teased her, hoping to fluster her with a cheeky comment of herself.

"You wanna know my secret?" Llolith asked after Nova returned the compliment, her voice barely above a whisper. The acolyte wouldn't get a chance to finish her train of thought before Nova rolled the both of them to the left, switching their places and pushing Llolith underneath the other girl. With Llolith's hands still cupped around the back of Nova's neck - fingers intertwined in the brunette's hair - it was certainly an interesting position the two had found themselves in.

"Second date, huh?" Llolith unlocked her fingers and trailed her left hand down to Nova's shoulder, dragging her fingers just barely along her skin as she did. Her right hand came forward, tracing Nova's jawline with her fingers while she smirked. "Guess there's a first time for everything."

Llolith hooked her right leg around Nova's waist, then pushed left with both hands - one gripping Nova's shoulder, the other flat against her head - to try and flip the two of them back over. She twisted her body with the roll and used her left leg as leverage against any resistance from Nova. The girl doubted she had the raw strength to overpower the older acolyte, so hopefully the leverage would be enough.

"Will the two of you stop rolling around on the damn ground?"

If the girl got her way, Llolith would end up on top of Nova again. This time, though, her hands would try to pin Nova down by the arms. As she looked down at the girl, she would mouth "One... two..."

Nova was pretty sure that her maneuver had been quick and surprising enough to catch her off guard and to potentially win this fight already. Internally, she started to count. One...tw-. But she couldn't get to the three, or even finish the two.

The agile spider girl let out another teasing remark before she attempted to counter her attack by pushing her over once again, but that was only after she had continued their little flirt. Their little banter was already starting to annoy the instructor, that was at least what Nova could tell from her quick sideways glance.

"I guess there is...", she replied with a cheeky smirk before Llolith tried throwing her over. Llolith was attempting to use cleverly profit from the leverage, yet Nova could not only see but feel that the smaller and definitely lighter acolyte was weaker than her and so her maneuver didn't quite successfully the way she wanted to.

Despite the instructor's comment, Nova let herself be rolled to the side yet again, but she wouldn't let her pin her down. Instead, she wanted to use the momentum and roll them over yet another time before she would triumphantly smirk down at the blonde. She intended to follow the instructor's plead and keep Llolith pinned, thereby finally ending their little battle. Nova knew she was stronger and thus all she tried was based on strength.

Llolith's maneuver worked, just not entirely how she intended it to. Instead of ending up on top - smirking down at the hot brunette and claiming victory - she found herself pinned down. Nova was stronger than her too, so there was little Llolith could do to get out of the situation. So, she had two options: wiggle, writhe, and try to struggle out of Nova's grip, or take the defeat in stride.

The former seemed a bit embarrassing, and though she certainly wasn't happy about losing, at least this wasn't a bad... perspective.

"...three." Llolith finished the count, looking up at Nova with her nine eyes with the ghost of a smirk on her lips. The instructor then called out Nova's victory and instructed the two to get up. Before that happened though, Llolith quietly added, "A girl could get used to this kind of view..."

Once they were both up, and once the remainder of the pairs finished their fights, the instructor called it a day and dismissed everyone with a wave of his hand.

"Uttu, I want you spending more time on weights. You went down way too quickly." Llolith scowled, clearly unhappy at being singled out, and tried to turn her face so anyone looking her way wouldn't see her irritation. "Your fancy little acrobatics aren't helping you. Try and gain some actual muscle mass and maybe you'll be able to keep up." The tone of voice the instructor spoke in was disrespectful, but considering he was in charge, she couldn't say anything.

"Yes sir.." she grumbled, before making her way out of the courtyard toward the mess hall. She took a moment to try and locate Nova though, curious to where the brunette was going, and curious to see if maybe she could follow.

Triumphantly, she smiled down at the blonde acolyte, quite certain that she would now accept her defeat aber their little playful, slightly flirtatious sparring and so she did. The cheeky remark she added let her smile widened a bit, before she stepped down from Llolith, purposely slower than necessary.

Llolith had kept her voice down, but while others might have not caught it, Nova had definitely heard it. "Oh likewise" she then replied with a cheeky wink, offering her a hand to get up before the instructor was already walking up to them.

As the instructor rudely commented on Llolith's performance, Nova's eyes immediately narrowed in discontent. She hated him. She had always hated him as that man was always rather disrespectful and cold, but even if she had sworn to behave herself, she couldn't hold herself back after Llolith had been the one to remain silent.

"What's wrong with acrobatics?" she asked, provocatively tilting her head to the side while her tone was indeed challenging. "Correct me if I'm mistaken, but even though acolyte Uttu could definitely work on her strength, why would such sneaky maneuvers be disadvantageous?". She was never someone to fight injustices, but she was rather simply in the mood to piss him off.

Regardless of his actual response, Nova just shrugged and finally walked off confidently, first gathering her belongings before considering what to do next. Coincidentally, she caught the blonde's gaze and her lips immediately turned back into a smirk as she decided to turn on her heels and follow her. "Are you headed to the gym now? Or what other plans do you have today?" she then asked her amusedly once she had caught. Her own schedule was rather free and if she was up for something fun, she brunette was definitely down to join her. It was not late yet and they were allowed to spent some free time before dinner and usually Nova could always thing of something to let time pass faster. Maybe she was even down to head downtown?

Llolith was surprised when Nova piped up in her defense and that surprise would show briefly on her face as the brunette challenged the instructor. The dude didn't take her bait though, and the only acknowledgment he gave was a scoff before he moved on to chat with someone with a question.

When Nova caught her gaze and trotted on over, Llolith returned the other's smirk with one of her own. "Nah, I usually do my workouts in the morning," she said. "I was just gonna grab an early dinner, but..." She trailed off, her eyes traveled up and down Nova, and she shifted her weight so she was fully facing the other acolyte. "I'm flexible," she finished with a cheeky wink.

By now, the courtyard was beginning to empty out. The other students passed by the conversation pair, and the instructor exited out the other side of the yard to head back to his office, another class, or wherever he planned to go after. A group of three chatted as they passed by, talking about some kind of new gimmicky bar that had opened up downtown. Hearing this, Llolith pursed her lips at Nova as if she were asking, "hear that?"

"How 'bout you? Any plans tying you up for tonight?"

It had definitely been a good thing that the instructor had not wanted to start beef right here, right now again, so as she confidently walked away there had even been a triumphant smile on her lips.

Once she had reached Llolith, her cheeky reply immediately made her smirk mischievously. "Oh flexible you say...You've already snowed me some acrobatics, yet I'm not fully convinced. Perhaps you need to persuade me in our next...training fight" she flirtatiously replied while wiggling her brows before she couldn't help but to chuckle a bit.

"Dinner you say... That sounds good. I'd say we grab a bite to eat and check that bar out?" she then suggested with yet another smirk, shamelessly deciding that they would definitely head out together. Nova was definitely in the mood for some tasty dinner and some drinks. The instructors hated it when someone was obviously showing a hang over, but it was the weekend after all.

She hadn't learned much about thr blonde girl yet, but she definitely intended to change that tonight and it was even better that she definitely seemed to be down for some shenanigans.

"Just name a time and place," she responded, her lips curling upward with a similarly flirty tone. No matter Nova's actual intentions, Llolith had no qualms exchanging a flirtatious remarks.

Alas, dinner was the first thing on her mind at the moment. A girl could certainly work up an appetite after wrestling around. "What are you thinking? Mess hall, or something out and about?" Llolith didn't think the food served at the school was bad at all, but compared to the simplicity of what she'd grown up on, the bar wasn't all that high. Today was taco day, if she recalled correctly, which had come to be one of her favorite meals. There was just something about greasy meat stuffed in a crunchy shell and smothered with her toppings of choice that was just so addicting.

The tacos wouldn't be missed if Nova said otherwise, though. She wasn't picky.

Once the brunette made her choice, Llolith would nod in agreement and begin walking in the respective direction. If it was the mess hall, she'd head there. If it was something out and about, she wanted to change first.

Nova was quite surpised that they haven't interacted too much so far, because she definitely seemed fun so far. She loved that slight teasing and being playful, so that exchange was indeed refreshing. "Noted" she gave back with a flirty smirk, not quite sure about in which pair of eyes to look for a moment.

When Llolith asked her where to go, she glanced around for a moment, oberserving where the rest was going. "Hmm...how about going out? I haven't done that in a while" she then suggested with a grin and since Llolith didn't complain.

"I'll quickly change too. How about we meet again at the entrance in 10 minutes?" she added as they began walking into the direction of the dorms. "Unless you wanna peek..." she cheekily winked at her and it wouldn't even be super obvious whether she was joking or not. In fact, she wouldn't mind either of it.

"Yes!" Llolith clasped her hands together with a happy expression across her face. Though she'd only suggested it, Nova making the final decision cemented her desire to actually do so. "Let's go out!"

At Nova's suggestive comment, Llolith didn't respond but instead gave the brunette another once over and yet another flirtatious smirk. She didn't take it as an invitation, but Nova would find that she was absolutely not opposed to the idea.

The spider-eyed girl immediately began to run over a mental image of her closet so that she could try and decide what she wanted to wear with only 10 minutes to spare. Fashion wasn't really her forté, or so she'd led herself to believe, so Llolith usually opted for more simple attire. Once she arrived at her dorm, she stripped down and threw on a black bustier top with some jeans. It was simple, but it was easy. And, with two minutes to spare, Llolith would arrive at the entrance.

"So, where to first, Nova?" she asked with her hand placed on her hip.

When her new flirtatious, spider friend agreed, her smile widened. "Perfect, see ya in a bit" she had replied before they had parted ways for a moment.

Nova immediately started rummaging through her closet, actually quite excited for a night out, not just because she was hungry and definitely down for some drinks, bust mostly because she was convinced the night with Llolith would be fun.

She chose a simple outfit for going out on a night like that, even though the instructors had always chosen to call it provocatively..that's why she covered herself with a black leather jacket for not, so that her actual top would not be immediately spotted.

She was still relieved that she had not encountered anyone on the corridors while she was on her way to the exit where she would meet Llolith again. She soon found her and the smirk was instantaneously back on her lips. "How about food first?" she suggested, playfully tilting her head to the side. "If we head out for drinks later, we better not start on an empty stomach".

Llolith watched as the acolyte approached, her eyes wandering across the brunette's body as she eyed the outfit the girl had chosen. The tight jeans and black leather jacket definitely gave cool girl energy, and she thought it was a cute coincidence that they'd both gone for black leather tops. Nova's was just a jacket, and Llolith's was her top.

"Think you'll get chilly at the bar?" Llolith teased, referring to Nova's jacket. "Or do you plan on losing that halfway through the night?" she added cheekily.

Change of topic: food. "No fun drinking on an empty stomach," she agreed as she started walking alongside the brunette. "Do you have a preference for cuisine? Induparian... Twi'leki... Corellian..." Llolith felt her stomach rumble at the mention of the different cultures. There were a lot of things she loved about having access to the greater galaxy now, but food was definitely at the top of that list.

"Know any good little hole in the walls, maybe?"

She had greeted the blonde woman with a smirk and her remark immediately made her chuckle. "Oh I'm definitely loosing it" she immediately replied with a mischievous smile, leading her outside already with a nod into the direction.

The moment she had stepped out of academy she already tore the jacket off, revealing the partly transparent top underneath. "Pff...I'm no prude" she clarified humorously, "I just didn't want the instructorsnto give me shit again".

Once Llolith began listing different cuisines her eyes widened in excitement and hunger. "Induparian...haven't had that in a while" she happily remarked, before adding: "I do know the perfect place for that!". She had been there with a group of acolytes before and she was happy to show her the place, in case she didn't know it already.

"It's not too far away, so I guess we could just walk if you like" she then suggested, slightly tilting her head to the side.

Nova definitely caught Llolith's attention when the jacket was torn away from her shoulders. She purposefully tore her own eyes away so as to not stare, but damn if Nova didn't look good in that top.

"I know what you mean..." Llolith grumbled when Nova mentioned instructors giving her shit for revealing tops. That same instructor from today, in fact, had reprimanded her multiple times for similar things. Which, in her opinion, was absolutely stupid. What she wore didn't affect her ability to learn or fight. If she was wearing so much clothing that it restricted her movement, that was one thing. But it definitely wasn't the issue.

"Induparian it is! <Let's go!>" She briefly switched into her native language as she declared they be on their way, more than happy to walk.

Like Nova said, the restaurant wasn't too far away, so it didn't take the pair all too long to make their way down to the Induparian place. The walk from the academy there was exclusively urban, and the streets were decorated with all manners of Imperial images. A lot of the people they passed on the street were either students or employees of the academy too. Llolith didn't recognize anyone on their way down, though.

"Is that it, up ahead?" she asked as she pointed to a building not far away.

It didn't surpise her at all that Llolith has faced similar issues. She was admittedly pretty and why should she hide that beautiful body after all. "Oh I believe you. I hate that they are sometimes so...restrictive. I'm not even trying to be provocative on purpose. If some others can't it, that's not my problem. I'm much more flexible in my own clothes than in those stupid uniforms" she replied while rolling her eyes.

She could have really started ranting, but that was not the point of their meeting, so she quickly swallowed the rage that started to flare up. "Sorry...I guess. We're not here to talk about them. We want some fun, so let's go" she enthusiastically added, playfully linking their arms as they started walking.

The evening air was indeed slightly chilly, but not yet fresh, so she casually had her jacket over one shoulder. The city was full with usual hustle and bustle and she nodded to a group of acolytes on their way. "Ugh have you met Chad, the Morellian? Stay away, he's a dick" she warned her with a grin after they had passed the group.

As she pointed at the building ahead, she immediately nodded though. "Yes, that's exactly it. It doesn't look too busy so we shouldn't have to wait for long". The closer they had gotten, the hungrier she had become, however before they reached the doors, two middle aged men suddenly stormed out, visibly drunk and obviously involved in a brawl, with both of already reeking like trouble and alcohol.

"Leave your filthy hands of her",the Mirialan snarled, whereas the Chalactan just shoved him. "Oh yeah? Or else what?", he hissed back, both staggering as they shouted. Nova raised a brow at the duo, not quite sure whether they wanted to get involved with that. "Should we play good Sith and separate them?" she curiosly asked her for her opinion.
