I thought this thread could be used to discuss suggestions and stuff brought up... and stuff.

I am not sure if anyone has mentioned this idea before, or if it is somewhere and I just didn't notice it, but I was curious what we thought about having, as part of the roster perhaps, something that shows which masters/knights have taken on padawans and who those padawans are, and also what padawans need masters. It might make the process of finding a master easier.

This was brought up by Kian Te'el. What do you guys think? I'd be willing to do this, but would it be to confusing?

I was thinking just doing color codes for what paddies did and didn't have masters, and possibly what certain Knights and Masters specialized in and a tally or something of how many Apprentices they had.

In the new board layout I'm currently building, with the Applications and Missions thread, it will actually be easier than what we have now and easier than a roster that could appear confusing.

Instead of posting in one thread dedicated to looking for a master, people looking for a master will post their own thread in the Jedi Sign-Up and Training Requests. In their own thread, they'll give an overview of what they want to learn. Masters who are interested can then choose those people. When someone has been chosen, the thread will be moved to a Training Requests Archive sub-board so they're out of the way.

Knights and Masters can also use that board to post requests for Padawans, and those same Knights and Masters can also post their own training requests if they're looking to have their character learn something new.

Would it be too messy to categorize the Knights into Guardian, Sentinel and Consular classes?

I know, it's really just superfluous, but would it be not wanted?

Also, I remember someone bringing up something about Masters having classes like that too.

Although, I guess a better question than this would be; are these categorizations even being used still?

I had brought that up in a thread a while ago I think, and the response was it was more for personal preference. And I couldn't think of what else to do with it other than use it for missions, you know like a classification for missions. I believe if you were to physically place people in these classifications on a roster, then it may cause more work and headache than what really should be needed.

But I believe most people still use them.

Some people liked the idea of using those classes, but others didn't, at least the last time it was brought up. It ended up being personal preferences as to whether it was used, so, unless we got a resounding "yes" for wanting them to be used, then organizing the roster with them would be difficult and confusing.

Probs? I wouldn't know...

But I have my own question/proposition to add to this; Should we make a declaration that no weapons/electronics/anything is allowed in the presence of a Councilor (unless of course for training)? Or is that too excessive?

Or, no weapons in Council chambers? Idk, just wondering. Idk if that's already been established but I didn't see it (or remember it) in the announcements made.

Also, ICly, what's the deal with Ayisha's betrayal. Like, has that information been let out yet (has Jhon told anyone that it was Ayisha)? I ask because that will greatly influence one of my character's actions and mindset for a time, if not until the rest of his life, as well as others I'm sure.

Finally, I'm thinking we need to come up with a plan to take out some Darths. I wouldn't really know how to go about it but I can think of it. I think we should definitely not have our councilors engaged in any fighting so we can keep them safe (not sure if that was a given or not) and we can keep an eye on what they're doing and stuffs and possibly assassinate them or something.

I just think that the OOC board looks a little cluttered. I think I'm going to organize that a little bit.

As for the no weapons thing, I think that may be a little over the top. But I definitely suggested at a new procedure for Temples and higher security in the announcments, so whenever someone requests for a Council meeting, we can put them through a high security check. We don't need to be operating in fear, we just need to be smart. Maybe I can add a short explanation of that in the Councilor meeting request thread.

My character was not told of Ayisha's betrayal, no. Perhaps I can ask for some disclosure between Jhon and the new GM.

And I think we should focus more on the galaxy map than Darths. At least for now. But there are some avenues opening up. More to come..

Keep in mind that no one can kill anyone in the Jedi boards anyone, including the High Council board. It would have to be done in the Story. So when someone requests a Council meeting, they can't harm Councilors anyway, per the rules the Council created at the beginning of the timeline.

Also, Jhon does not know that Ayisha was the one who set off the bomb. There could be suspicions, but a) he wouldn't know for sure and b) he wouldn't know it was a Sith plot.

As for missions, yes, they will all be moved to the Missions section of the new sub-boards. I'll be finishing those boards today or tomorrow.

Well, Natise has made a Council request to form a new alliance with the Jedi. I wasn't aware that we ever retracted our previous alliance, so I'm not sure what that's about. Personally I'd rather a single Councilor or representative meet with the Imperial Knights. I think Master Maverick would do well in this task. But first I need to know if we are all in agreement with this meeting. Is everyone down for this renewing of our vows? If so, is everyone in agreement that this should be a one on one meeting and not a full Council meeting?

I'm down for whatever, and I'd be willing to do it if you guys want a 1 on 1. I have no preference in this. However, I'm probs gunna need some pointers cause I'm rather ignorant about the other factions.

And I was under the impression that Syn's character messed it up and Bac said we don't want it anymore if they're going to act like that (they were being petty about joining our board and stuff). Soooo...?

I retracted my offer to have them become a sub-faction, but there was nothing IC that disbanded the alliance between the Jedi/Alliance and the IK. At least, not to my knowledge.

Now this character never existed and he is saying IC about why wasn't her training stopped. How bloody stupid. So I'm fed up and can't be bothered to deal with it. Yeah... not surprised as he used that excuse with me. It's his last ditch effort not to have to change his character... stupid retard.

Anyway, so DT and Bac are the ones who are going to have to talk with him, as he's now deaf to the 3 of us. I mean, I could try again, I wouldn't mind doing it, but I think either one of you would be more eloquent in your wording. Not that it matters because he so stupid...

It does suck, but they want drones instead of fun so.. Either stay and be bored or go to the sith and be bored. Too many people in the sith ranks for quality but the jedi just seem to want collective teachings. Stray outside the box into the realm of interesting and your quashed. Matt I think would have been willing to compromise but you said it. All changed granted I had the character act as she would. They are threatening to destroy all she is because she is different. So why would she go quietly into that "meeting" and just bend over for the third time? Gaba might be pissed and angry with me for sometime after this but then again I only used jedi history and fact to create the character.

I'll admit I'm not a very big fan of Syn, and this just looks to me, OOCly, like another Matsu Ike.

Anyway, yeah, I've been keeping track of that as well. He's really getting on my nerves and I hope my post in Cath's CS wasn't too much... if it is, I'll delete it no problem.

Anyway, so just so you guys know, Ayva knows who built the bomb, but not who detonated it, so that's what the request for a meeting is for... I kind of wanted to RP it out. It's going to be short and quick, if you guys don't mind. Unless you wanted to talk about something else in it as well?
