Tacitus didn't like working on Nar Shaddaa for a reason and it went beyond the fact that the whole place made him wish he could take a shower ever five minutes. Beyond the fact that it was the seat of some of the most dangerous criminals in the Galaxy, he hated working on Nar Shaddaa because it was such a scum-sucking hellscape that it catered to the tastes of anyone.

Which meant it catered to the tastes of every degenerate so low, so depraved and so filthy that even other criminals found themselves repulsed by them. The kind of people who traded in skin, children and the kind of stuff that violated minds. Tacitus wasn't a guy who shied away from a lot of things in the pursuit of profit but he drew some pretty clear lines. He wasn't enough of a saint to go running after them off his own back though.

But when the Zaa Fenn family offered him credits to take one such operation out?

He had a lot of time for it.

"Remember the plan Nero; wreck their shite out the front to draw attention. They come out with blasters? Fry them. I'm going round the back for the kids."
he reminded his brother, "When I'm on my way up I'll com the droid to bring the ship in for a hot pick up."

The identified building was a warehouse that had some lower levels on the plans - and layers even lower than that if the word on the street was to believed. Parking up the speeder truck out front of the warehouse, he checked to make sure his brother was well situated with the e-web turret they had brought from their ship. Patting his brother on the back, Tacitus jumped from the truck and made a line for the side of the building. Once Nero opened fire he would have the perfect noise cover to hide him breaking in round the back.

And if he got in over his head he could call on his brother to bring the pain down with him. It was quick, it was violent and it would probably suck to be hanging around for too long but he wanted to be gone with the kids inside twenty minutes.

Ideally.

Nero Agrippa would pull on his speeder bike alongside his brother near the warehouse. Word was out in regards to some big credits for helping the Zaa Fenn family and of course the two brothers were all over it. They were some pretty hard hitting dudes with zero remorse but the one thing they didn't kark around with was kidnapping kids and exposing them. Parking the Speeder bike and turning it back on as he managed to connect the E web to the pack and strap it down tight with the box strapped tight to the side of the speeder. A wide smirk on his face as he always loved when shit was about to start piping off when he got there. Listening to his brothers plan he would nod to him as he moved over to side and let the Bike go in neutral. Pushing it to be a bit more concealed.

Stepping off in plain view of the warehouse he would be wearing a brown dirty robe. Holes and rips all over it, including his hood which hung low over his eyes so he could look up and get a decent view. A empty bottle he packed in his bag with a small amount of alcohol left in it as he began stumbling out with it in hand. "Whree teh FACK IS REESE!?" his words were staggered and slurred as he came stumbling about. His loud actions would soon start getting the attention of the guards by the warehouse as he burped loudly and fell to the ground before slowly trying to push himself back up. Watching slowly as the guards began to come closer and revealing themselves as a few still stayed back by the main steps.

Standing himself up again as he was satisfied with the amount that showed. Yelling at him and pointing angrily "You Drunk kark, Get out of here" followed with a quick mouthed Rodian "Last chance scum, we don't want no homeless around here". Pushing himself up and diving almost like a drunk fall behind his concealed speeder he would kick it in neutral before jumping up and turning the weapon on into full charge. As it rolled out slowly the few guards would be within 15m of him as soon as the end of the bike came around that corner in its slow roll he would start firing the millisecond he came into the first guards view. Heaviest amounts of blaster fire came barreling down as Nero began chopping them up with the E web.

Well his brother was out front being a distraction and it was time to go to work. Drawing his blaster pistol in his right hand, he drew his vibroknife in his left and pressed himself up against the side door. As soon as he heard Nero complaining loudly he started on the lock with his knife. Seeing as it was a cutting weapon capable of keeping up with a lightsaber, it cut through the rather cheap metal of the lock without too much trouble.

Pulling the door open slowly with the tip of his knife, Tacitus inched forward into the warehouse, noting how it was stacked high with boxes that honestly looked as though they hadn't moved in decades. It was clear that they were a front but any business that felt the need to be a front on a moon owned by Hutts?

Was doing something sick.

Moving into the warehouse, he grabbed a man from behind, wrapping his left forearm over his mouth and dragging him down to the ground. Pressing the end of his blaster flush against the man's chest, he pulled the trigger, the body muffling the shot before he moved on. Finding the stairs down was easy enough but there were still guards.

So he waited.

Turned out he didn't need to wait long before Nero opened up with the E-Web and suddenly the scumbags were running around like headless chickens trying to find cover or an exit. Through the chaos he fired another two times, gunning people down with shots to the back even as he dashed for the stairs, throwing himself down them three at a time when he did.

"Going down Nero - clear the ground level for me and the kids!"

Nero Agrippa would keep the fire going down. When it started overheating he would slack off a bit for it to cool before picking up the fire again as the bolts would start slicing through the guards like swiss cheese as blood and bodies started going in every direction. They would be firing back blindly as their bolts were going over Nero's head by a mile. In a sweeping motion back and forth letting the bolts almost look like a steady wave would keep their heads down and only letting them stick their blasters out to fire a couple rounds before ducking back down into cover.

A couple were unfortunate as they stuck their arms out to aim wildly at Nero a bolt would catch them in the hand and take it completely off as it severed their hands and send them screaming in pain. Hearing Tacitus on the comlink he would let the fire pick up towards the ground floor and start laying down the fire. This time he was a lot more careful in where he put his bolts too. He didn't want to injure or hit any kids but he wanted to make sure the enemies knew he wasn't karking around. At the rate he was using he would either be running out of ammo or overheating this thing to smithereens unless he let it cool down. He only had a blaster rifle in the pocket on the otherside of his bike.

"Getting hot here brother." was all he said in a calm voice as he continued to rain down absolute hell.

Tacitus hoped that the e-web would have cleared all of them on the ground floor but it was probably always going to be a pipe dream. There were other ways to put down the opposition or to get them to get the hell out of town quick after all, so he didn't worry too much when his brother messaged him to let him know it was getting more frantic up top. Instead he nodded as he went further down.

"Copy that."
he replied back as he stepped down into the first basement level, blasting one man twice in the front before shooting another in the kneecap as he attempted to run away, "First basement level looks like it's just servers."

He excuted the downed man with his knife to his neck quickly, looking around the area as he did so. As he'd said, there were servers and other things down on the first basement level and he couldn't really make heads or tails of them really. Some of the equipment looked like it was geared more towards transmission outward but he didn't focus on them; instead he focused on the large bundling of wires that led down into the further basement levels.

Tacitus wasn't really sure what they were for but it stood to reason they were for the kids, right? Slipping down the next set of stairs, he grimaced as one of the technicians let out a startled cry at seeing him. Tacitus fired his blaster, hitting the man in the chest before a body slammed into him from the side, sending him sprawling to the ground and his blaster flying from his hand.

Grappling blindly with the guard he hadn't actually seen before he had been attacked, Tacitus rolled around on the ground to avoid the rapid punches at his face. His helmet would take some of the damage but he still preferred to simply not get hit.

Nero Agrippa would grimace as the E web over heated and was in no use. Grabbing his Blaster rifle he would jump off the E web and hide behind the speeder bike as bet he could. He managed to get most of them up top but he was relying on his blaster rifle now at this point. As bolts flew over his head and around him he would exchange fire with a quick burst before moving positions. As long as he could bounce cover to cover and work it back and forth he could keep them at bay from blanking him as sweat was pouring down his face from all the movement. Growling to himself as he ripped off the cloth torn hood and returned fire while managing to hit two guards directly in the chest within 5m from him as they tried to push his position. Pushing off his spot behind a crate he would dive behind another couple crates to the left.

Skidding the ground he would hug the crates tight as bolts came impacting the corners of the crate and breaking off pieces of it. A rodian guard would come close to him as he began to flank his side of the crate. Nero was in the middle of planning a counter attack as he seen a barrel cresting the side of the crate and a body behind it. Immediately he tackled the Rodian like a football tackle and took him to the ground as they both struggled. Bolts would be impacting the crate they were behind as he Nero managed to slip his rifle between them flat and hit the trigger to impact the Rodians leg. The instant pain rushed making the Rodian let go of Nero as he jumped up and finished him off before diving back into cover. "I better be a farking rich man after this." he said on the comlink with heavy breathing.

Tacitus growled in frustration as the guard atop of him stopped trying to punch his helmet in and instead started choking him. It was frustrating because it was a hell of a lot more effective than punching an armoured helmet. He was beginning to see black spots - which was never a good sign - but he refused to go out like that. Instead of attacking the man directly, Tacitus instead pushed his right arm out to the side.

He grinned behind his mask as he shot out the grapple line, dragging both himself and his attacker into a desk. Well, the edge of the desk hit the other man in the side of the head violently, sending him sprawling and Tacitus got a chance to catch his breath. Which he promptly used to gulp in one mouthful of air before jabbing his stun baton into the eye of the man who had been choking him.

Judging by the burning smell, and the lack of twitching, Tacitus was of the opinion that the man was dead rather than stunned. He, honestly, didn't care and instead recovered his blaster pistol before heading further into the basement level he had found.

Row upon row of terminals were set up side by side to each other with children no older than thirteen literally strapped into their seats. Even just a quick glance told him that the children were aware of his presence, absolutely terrified of him... and yet still typing away as quickly as possible. They were, at this stage in their lives, probably conditioned to keep slicing no matter what. He could tell the chairs themselves were rigged with traps but he honestly couldn't tell what.

So instead he marched up to the technician, sat at a master terminal overlooking the slicing floor. The man was shaking like a leaf as Tacitus leveled his blaster pistol at him.

"We're going to have a very brief conversation about how you're going to release the children from their stations."

He pressed the barrel of his blaster pistol against the technician's left knee and just held it there, never taking his eyes off the man's face.

Nero Agrippa would grab the Rodians blaster rifle off his body and sling it over his shoulder. Still carrying the main one he would start returning fire before pushing himself off back to the right side crates in front of the warehouse. Only a few remained as most of them were killed or badly injured. Lifting his head over the crate to see the last pair moving between cover as he sunk back down behind the crate. Thinking to himself, Nero would smirk slowly as he knew what the plan was. Immediately he would start laying down fire as he made a run for the speeder bike. Diving behind it as a couple bolts came flying past he would slink up onto the seat and hit the kicker in forward and smack the throttle back. Hanging off the side of the bike as it picked up speed while he hung off it.

It started flying towards one of the guards as Nero was steering it ever so slightly as he was only half on it and keeping low. As a guard poked his body up to fire, Nero would roll off it and let the bike impact the guard in the chest and send him flying back into a wall. The Bike would sever through the guard and dig into the wall as his body took most of the impact. After rolling on his side he had a good aim of the second guards position as he let a bolt fire out of his blaster and hit the guard in the ankle. Smashing through the guards ankle he would drop down on the ground as Nero got up and walked over. Without word or warning he would send two bolts into the guards head and call in on the Comlink "Front is clear for now, hurry the kark up.."

"I can't just release them!"

Tacitus knew that the man was going to be difficult but he didn't think he was going to be this stupid. He had a blaster against his kneecap and he was still spouting things like that? It was time to explain the situation to the man again it seemed, so that he couldn't avoid the reality of that was before him.

He pulled the trigger, blasting the man's kneecap apart with a violent-sounding blaster shot that was followed by the man's pained screams. Tacitus glanced out over at the dozens of children, noting how even though a few of them jumped at the combination of sounds, none of them stopped typing.

None of them stopped slicing despite a man being tortured into compliance right in front of them; what the kark did kids see that made them that karked up? He didn't know but he really didn't want to add to their nightmares by torturing the man any further so he really hoped he didn't need to further explain the man's new reality to him.

Tacitus grabbed the man by his hair and dragged him back atop his seat again, pressing his blaster pistol against the other kneecap.

"The worst they'll do to you is kill you, if they catch you."
he explained to the man, pressing down with his blaster, "You see now I can torture you before I kill you - and they're not here. I am. So right now I am the only thing in this Galaxy keeping you alive and it's because I have a reason to."

He leaned in closer and narrowed his eyes.

"Tell me how to unplug the kids or I'm going to keep going until I run out of joints."

The technician shook even more and groaned in pain but he was more compliant even if the answer didn't change overly much.

"You don't understand... the kids don't sleep cus of... of all the stimulants. See the IVs? Each kid is on a constant dose - without something to kickstart the heart after it's disconnected, they'll die."

The mission was to shut the place down but Tacitus would be damned if he accomplished it by killing kids. Remembering something from the warehouse level above, Tacitus took a deep breath and called his brother back on the com.

"Nero, grab a crate of some of that spice up there and come down here quick. We need to give the kids a sniff to jumpstart their hearts or they'll die when we disconnect them."
he glanced at the technician and raised his blaster, "Floor's clear."

Despite the man's frantic protests, Tacitus shot a blaster round into the middle of his forehead and left him there, holstering his pistol and taking out his knife instead in preparation for severing IVs once his brother was downstairs with him.

Nero Agrippa would be out front collecting the weapons off the dead and dragging them into a smile pile off to the side as he was trying clean up as best he could. He was focused and pulling security outside as his brother was down there longer than they both anticipated. He was about to do a Com check in to him before he heard him finally come in over the Comlink...He took it all in for a second as he literally dropped his arms to his side. Perking a eyebrow as he mumbled to himself "What the absolute Kriff is he Fackin talking about.." He shrugged as he all really heard was Spice, Sniff and come on down. Shit, never had to tell him twice.

After doing final checks outside he would head in through the doors and step over the guards that were in Tacitus's way earlier. Looking over to see the crates of spice he would have a devilish grin as he grabbed a crate and opened it. Grabbing a handful he would shove it down his pants pockets and start lifting the crate down the steps. After so many steps he would take a handful out and literally sniff as much as he could before proceeding down the stairs with the crate in his hand. His eyes were like two saucers and for some sad reason, The more Coke he did, the more he still remained being a lunatic and idiot as per usual. Straightening himself out as he finally managed to get down to his brother.

His big ass pupils would glance over at him and than over to the kids as he mumbled.."Well fack me." while sniffing air to try to clear his nose out a little from the spice dust. The spice hit him like a freight train but he was still coherent enough to function. More like a good buzz but not on the verge of blackout. Without word he put two and two together and began walking over to the children with handfuls of spice and tossing it on their splicing tables. Doing his...best to comfort them he would only say "It's best you sniff 2 lines..Its good shit." before moving on to the next one.

Tacitus looked up from one of the kids work stations when he saw his brother come down the stairs, taking a second to make sure the kid was alright before turning to his brother. He blinked a few times as what he was seeing actually sunk in and he groaned in exasperation.

"Are you karking high right now?"
he demanded of his brother before holding up his hands, "You know what? Dumb karking question; I asked you to grab spice. Of karking course you're high as a swoop bike right now."

He really didn't like taking spice or drugs when he was mid-op and it always made things at least slightly more chaotic when Nero did them as well. Sometimes it made the man more compliant and other times it ended with the two of them pissing blood for the next few weeks.

So long as they waited until they were out of here with the kids before they started beating seven bells out of each other, Tacitus could care less.

Tacitus started cutting the IVs quickly, not sparring a look at the kids as they almost immediately went into some kind of shock as their hearts and other organs struggled. They were pretty good at following directions from 'authority' figures while in fear of dying though so they followed Nero's instructions and frantically took some spice. It was a weird karking day when taking a hit of spice made someone less likely to die from sudden and explosive organ failure but it was just that kind of day.

They were beginning to step away from the slicing stations but they were hesitant, like they were expecting a kick to the ribs any second... it reminded Tacitus far too much of his early life with his dad.

"Alright kids - get your shite together, take whatever you want to sell later or think you might need. We getting the kark out of here. Nero."
he called out to his brother as some of the kids grabbed slicing tech and other stuff, "Lead the front - kill anyone who isn't me or one of these pre-pubescent little runts. I'm calling in our ride."

He immediately started connecting to the droid flying The Garrison.

Nero would watch as the kids would start sniffing the lines and Tacitus would break the IV's off them. Him and his brother had the same conversations just like this one in all kinds of peril times..Including one when they were in a hard shoot out in Tatooine one time back and Nero was making out with a Twi'lek stripper behind cover next to his brother while bolts were hitting walls. They threw fists after that incident and Nero was reminded to lay down cover and kill the enemy first before smacking mouths with females. Focusing back at the kids as they began to steal shit and bounce around the place he would turn to face his brother as he nodded.

"Alright, moving up."

"Christ this Spice is tier 1." He mumbled as he levelled his blaster rifle and began moving up the stairs. Aiming it upwards he began pushing up the steps. He seen movement to his left on the next floor as he imminently spun on a dime and put two accurate blaster bolts in the side of a already dead guard that Tacitus killed before. Giggling to himself for a second after how high he was he would turn his focus back to the stairs as he pushed his way to the front door and stuck the barrel out and had a quick look. It seemed clear so he nodded to Tacitus that it was good. Pushing out he would take cover behind the small pile of bodies he cleaned up and waited for his brothers call for pickup.

Well Nero was leading the kids up fine so Tacitus was free to focus on some other things while that was happening. Namely making sure that the place didn't just start straight back up again when they were gone. So he emptied his clip into some of the generators on the bottom floor, causing them to explode violently and fire to begin to spread. With the amount of spice down there as well? The fires would be going on for hours.

And that was just this floor.

Reloading as he helped guide the kids up the stairs, he did the same on the floor above it until they arrived at the ground floor with the smoke of two floors worth of electrical goods and spice burning. The spice burning covered up the fact that the electrical equipment burning smelled something foul. Burning spice spelled like what it tasted like which meant he was probably getting at least slightly high from the fumes.

Which meant it was time to go.

Reaching the ground floor, he could hear the commotion that The Garrison had caused by parking in the middle of the road outside the warehouse. It wasn't a small ship after all and other people used the street for their work - both legal and not. Hurrying them out the warehouse and up the ramp, Tacitus could hear speeders in the distance.

"Their response time is shocking."
he muttered to himself as he helped the last of the kids up the ramp, "Nero we delta - let's kark off."

The pilot droid sent him a message and Tac didn't bother to reply, instead closing up the cargo ramp and waiting for them to take off. Job done, kids inside and coming down from highs but not dead. Was about as well as he could have hoped the job would go honestly.

He shot a message off to Callo to let him know they'd done the job and paid back part of their debt.
