It wasn’t often that Jace took time to just wander off instead of working a job. Credits were always tight when the Mandalorians were fractured like this. Each clan had its own agenda and Kryze was no different. The elders put pressure on the clansmen to generate more credits as everyone prepared for winter and scarce food. The G’wenee job had netted a hefty amount of credits thanks to delivering multiple bounty targets and Jace was able to take some time off.
He hadn’t been on Krownest before, but when Hauron mentioned it he grew curious. He knew the planet housed the ancestral home of Wren, though much of the complex was damaged from civil wars of the past. And of course, Jace certainly liked having an excuse to spend time with the other man.
Jace stepped off his ship, having agreed to meet Hauron here. He navigated through a storm to land here and he took a moment to admire the blizzard. Jace didn’t mind the cold and he rarely saw snow. His armor offered some protection against the harsh elements, though he felt chilled to his bones all the same.
He plodded through the fluffy snow briefly before one of his heavy boots broke through a layer of ice. He cursed in both Mando’a and Basic, attempting to yank the leg out of the icy water below. His heavily armored form was not exactly well adapted to an icy terrain.
