Well, I think I'd rather have someone else go, because as I've written it, she either doesn't know she's speaking or she expects to be later in the program... Although, either way she's going to be surprised and caught off guard that she's next, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Either way, I'll come up with something either later tonight (EST) or tomorrow. I'm rather busy today, so I don't know if I'll get to it properly.

Personally, I find it amusing people cite those Sith Lords as ambition when they were all killed by Geist Weiss, who lacks ambition and has declined offers to join the Dark Council (it was why I had to create Darth Nichts, Sreeya got annoyed that I hadn't gotten to Sith Lord yet despite all that I've done so far).

Well you just about nailed any/all possibilities that you could talk about. Pick one, i guess.

If all else fails, kick a dwarf and people will cheer for you.

I think most of the Council threads are really just to make sure that they're all still breathing, and to give them some role in RP. In my experience, IC Councils are rarely utilised as much as they could/should be. After all, it was common for the Council to provide assignments directly, so why we don't have them doing short mission briefs with the Jedi face-to-face before a group set off for a mission is beyond me. It'd make it much more interesting.

This assumption is false, it actually takes a lot of time and thought when replying to some of the threads at times. Some requests are not even needed with a council member and can be taken to Jedi Masters, which I try to push when the time is appropriate upon the request. If a mission requires pre-briefing from a member of the council, then it has been done, but its not really necessary at times. However, if there was a mission in which something significant has happened and the player believes the council should know about it, then that would be an appropriate time to request a meeting.

That's fair enough, I suppose. But it would be nice to see more of the Council in RP. Yes, as you say, some threads require a considerable amount of thought, but others, I think, should just be written the way the rest of us write: as it comes to you. The Council is, after all, a body speaking with 12 voices as one. All should be heard, and a decision made presented as one. It'd make things more interesting.
