Biography
Ooris was a legacy in the Pyke Syndicate. This meant that his family had been involved for centuries and it was tradition for him to follow in their footsteps. In his early years, Ooris was posted at the mines of Kessel providing over watch to shipments. He would sit in a fortified tower looking through a small slit in a thick wall while holding a sniper rifle. It was basic security work for the lowest of tiered members. Everyone had to start somewhere in the syndicate. He held this position and similar security jobs escorting spice runs until the ISC took the planet over. This threw many of the syndicate off their game and the Pyke's suffered quite the blow from this.
Many saw this as the worst fall in their career inside the Pyke Syndicate. Others took advantage of it to make a name for themselves in unprecedented times. The Tolsite family had been in the Syndicate for literal centuries, and Ooris knew his entire family would stay loyal to support efforts in rebuilding. Business as usual was gone but this Pyke was going to expand and bring order to the chaos. He hoped.
Personality
A fair amount of entitlement often accompanies those who inherit a famous name. The Tolsite family inside the Pyke Syndicate was huge and many members carried it proudly. It may not have been an exclusive pass to the top, but it was recognizable enough as a common family cycling in and out of Pyke Leadership. Ooris didn't have any direct relatives in high places, but he still carried a bit of attitude that he was related to a powerful group. Beyond this, he was fairly cold and calculating due to a life growing up in a criminal syndicate. He prefers to give orders but is fully capable and willing to get his hands dirty if necessary.
Ooris enjoyed taking spice and studying spice. As a hobbyist, he loved to discuss it or work with it. His other big hobby was playing Bass Vye. It was a good break from the grueling syndicate life he led. Ooris took lessons and became semi-professional with it. He likely could sit in on a band rather than being a criminal at all.
