Della began to sense the feeling of longing and loss. She understood that feeling all too well. She missed her family and friends. When would she see them again? Was it even possible? No one seemed to understand where she was from, or how to get there. There were some kind people who were making efforts on her behalf, but they had mentioned that it would be hard. Like finding a certain speck of sand out of a million.

She still had faith in those who tried to help her. She at least was going to communicate that she understood the longing she felt from the others. She drew a picture of her mother and father. Then the land where she lived. She showed the picture to the others.

Atreia stared at the picture Della had just drawn. It was of a couple, assumedly her parents, and the back drawing was, she guessed, a place she lived at.

Della... Is this your home and your parents?

Della nodded quietly. She could already feel sadness swell within her as the memories of how she arrived to Tython returned to her. She tried to think of a phrase that she had heard someone use, but she couldn't recall it. She didn't want to upset anyone else around. Her new friends seemed to also have things that troubled them. This school would help them all deal with their past.

She would have to one day talk to one of the Masters, to see if they also were similar in their pasts.

"I...how do you say it?" The longing she felt was painfully clear.
