It was several hours after the sun had gone down, but Gemma couldn't be certain what time it was. She reached into her pocket and pulled her newest invention out, her Solar Flare Goggles. She placed them on her head and then used them to pull back her hair behind her ears and away from her face. They took some time, but she finally got them to recalibrate under various light sources and also amplify the amount of available light within the dark; it was her finest invention yet in her opinion.

She strolled through the starport eager now that she was back on Nar Shaddaa. With Glitch at her side she was confident that tonight was going to be a good day for profits. She was needing to find a buyer and had come back to Nar Shaddaa to look for one; there was bound to be one here somewhere, she just had to look hard enough. Her good vibes brought her to a bar she was familiar with. She approached the doors and was ready for the typical procedure. The large burly man stepped forwards and held a hand out to signal her stop.

"Ya ya, I know, everybody gets scanned" Her voice was pleasantly teasing as she winked at the approaching guard. "How about this time you frisk me, Marx. Could be fun... never know what a girl like me has hidden down her pants." Just as the guard revealed the scanning device, Gemma turned around and 'assumed the position' bending to stick her rear out seductively.

"Ya know Wheels, one day I'll take you up on that offer, but not tonight... business and the sort, ya know how it goes." The scanner quickly passed around Gemma and beeped and whirred a positive signal. "All clear, stay out of trouble this time." The guard smirked as he hid the scanner once more and took up his post near the door once more.

"But where is the fun in that?" Gemma smiled devilishly before waving and blowing a kiss for Marx. Gemma pushed the door open and was immediately swallowed in the thrum of music. The atmosphere was nothing out of the ordinary, but Gemma's excitement sent tendrils of hopeful prospects throughout the bar; she would find somebody here, she knew it.

Her green eyes scanned the occupants as she walked the well worn path from door to bar. Drinks first, business later - the motto of most people on Nar Shadda. With some kind of neon pink alcoholic fluid, Gemma made her way through the packed dance floor to the booths. Surprisingly, one was available and completely despite the clearly busy night the place was happening. Gemma took it as a sign. She took a large sip of her drink; it was sour, it was sugary and had a heavy kick of alcohol. It was exactly what she wanted for tonight. On instinct, she waved over one of the Twi'lek waitresses and ordered another.

As the waitress walked off, Gemma continued to survey the potential prospects dancing on the dance floor. She occasionally glanced back throughout the booths to where, no doubt, the potential for her client would be if they were already here. After several minutes she quickly lost herself in the music and, under the influence of a couple quick drinks, could be seen dancing slightly to herself within the booth. To anybody in the bar, she would look like a friendly face in an extremely good mood. Also, she could look like an easy mark, but she would quickly make that person regret thinking so.

The thundering sound of engines roaring and landing gear hissing as the ship decompressed itself could be heard from miles around the Nar Shaddaa spaceport as the Twins landed their cargo ship, back from a successful mission with credits to spend and their heads held high. Locking up their ship and stashing their gear before departing, Paige and Peter walked down the filthy streets where they both grew up and headed towards their bar they typically frequent after missions.

As usual they where both stopped by the large bouncer and as usual they where both frisked and allowed inside the bar. "You'd think by know he would just let us in." said page as they sat down at their usual booth adjacent to a woman who was fiddling with some kind of sunglasses. "I tell you every day there's always some new type of homemade bootleg tech someone's peddling." Peter said as they both took off their swan helmets and started to down their drinks. "Its not necessarily a bad thing, we bought that gutted two way radio off of that drifter and you put it in the helmets." "Yeah but that wasn't new, it was just the guts of a radio someone tried to make a quick credit off of. Now we've got people trying to peddle overcharged blaster rifles or a glorified pair of glasses claiming them as 'new inventions'." Peter said, quoting the phrase 'new inventions' with his fingers as the two continued to plaster themselves.
