Kaji felt as if he was progressing everything, even if he did not have a master yet. The only friend he had made so far was a Jedi named Juno. She had taught him so much about his lightsaber combat, things he would never forget. Even now Kaji walked is if he were a dancer he walked with the grace and movement of a Jedi.

He was walking along the hall In the Jedi temple not really having anything to do, of course he could be in the library like he normally was all the time. Today he decided he wanted to do something differently, he wanted to just rest and get some fresh air. He pressed a button on wall control pad that controlled the door at the end of the hall as it shot open revealing the wonders of Tython. There was waterfalls, trees, ponds, and as before off in the distance mountains.

He sat down on a bench looking around as no one else was there. Sometimes he wondered if there were any other padawan's like him, or any that actually existed. He sighed heavily as he slouched on the bench pulling his tentacles off his shoulders.

Peace...of mind, body and spirit. The Jedi of old and Masters made it seem easily achievable. Today such a concept eluded her. The memory of the words spoken about her training thus far still rang through her mind, demanding all of her attention. It was peace she sought this day. Not even the archives could sate the brewing nervousness and uneasiness in her soul. She needed a break. She needed to go to the place she most felt at peace. Slipping through the halls with her head downcast, she made her way to the door leading outside the Temple.

As the door swooshed open, the fresh, clean air washed over her...an ointment to her aching soul. It was a beautiful day with a cool breeze blowing from the north, making the grasses and flowers bend and sway. Here was peace and serenity. Sliding her hands into her robes, she began to walk around the perimeter, eyes surveying the beauty around her. It seemed as if she was not the only one needing a break from her studies.

Her eyes fell upon a fellow student, one she had seen often within the Library. What was his name again? She began to walk toward him but then hesitated. What if he did not wish to be disturbed?

The recently appointed Battlemaster had a plethora of things on his mind. Everything from his newly acquired seat on the Council to the war effort and how his Jedi companions were faring in the war torn parts of the galaxy.
He hair swayed gently across his shoulders as he toured the grounds of the Tython temple. Most of his tenure within the Order he had been on the move seeking targets in the unknown regions or aboard the Jedi's Light, where he felt most at home. Having grown up on similar vessels it just seemed fitting.
Today he walked the grounds in search of some self provided answers as well as the beautiful scenery of the flora and fauna of the Temples gardens. He had few moments like this where he felt he could pull himself away from his work and simply enjoy a few moments of peace so he relished in it.

He rounded the corner and sought a quiet place to sit and indulge himself in the forces ebbs and flows hoping that something of substance would find its way into his thoughts and ease his stresses a bit. Noticing two other Jedi relaxing on a bench nearby he made his way towards them. He was not familiar with the two, though given the nature of his service to the Jedi he wasn't familiar with most however that wouldn't sway his desire for some company and conversation.

"Seems as though I'm not the only one in need of some peace. Greetings my friends, I am Master Talohn."

At the sound of his voice, she turned toward the Jedi Master and immediately bowed her head in respect. "Master Talohn."

His stance and posture radiated confidence. This was a man who did not second guess his actions. And a Master...wait... Her eyes raised to the man's face as the name connected with the rumors and talking of other Initiates and Padawans. This was a name she had heard several other students utter in awe. "I am Meph...Mepheysia Tolan," she corrected. She racked her brain for more information but her mind was spinning. Names, faces, things she had studied, all were mixed in her tumultuous mind.

Suddenly out of nowhere but very likely known by the battle master, a hot shot Jedi padawan screamed from above and jumped from the roof of the temple right above them while holding a thick vine in his hand. Being one for wanting to push himself, he liked to be spontaneous and have a little fun. In middle of free fall, Roy flipped in the air wile wrapping the vine around his waist and leg to hold him “woo!” Roy cheered before finally stopping right in front of Mepheysia face to face with a wide grin.

She could see his bluish green eyes at how close he was besides his ginger blond hair and pail freckle face that looked exotic to those who had never seen someone like him “precious, names Roy and it’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance” Roy said with a playful wink.

Roy was a very physically skilled and capable padawan for being there not too long ago; he was previously a bounty hunter and knew his way and life of the galaxy and how harsh it could be. This harshness only inspired Roy to add a little fun to his life and the life of others. Being in the Jedi temple was weird, he felt just like being in a cantina, he felt at home and he loved it but it was still interesting.

The scream chilled her blood as she looked up in time to see a falling body hurtling toward them. She paled as she watched, helpless in knowing what to do. He was too big to "catch" with her limited abilities in the Force. What to do?! It was then that her eyes saw his hold on the vine and relief mixed with disbelief. This was the most excitement she had ever been exposed to since her time at the Temple, sad but true.

"Are you mad?" she asked him as he came to stop before her. "Who jumps from a building?" Clearly he had startled her. "You could have been hurt, or even killed."

Roy grinned at her sudden worry for him as they just meet “am I mad? Maybe, but that those not mean I can’t hone my skill and have fun at the same time” Roy said spinning around to look at the battle master before them and the other Jedi “hello master Talohn and fellow padawan, I believe you already know my name” Roy said wile carefully climbing down from the vine to stand taller than the blond beauty in front of him.

Roy was very well building for someone his age and had both the physical power and transcending wisdom to make one heck of a guardian “sorry if I worried you, love. So to whom do I have the pleasure to meet?” he asked her, grabbing her hand to give it a playful smooch. Not wanting to make the others feel ignored, Roy walked to the side to face every one while he wrapped the vine back up to use it later.

Darix was also taken aback by the odd behavior of the Padawan. His leap of faith as it were causing quite the commotion and and distraction from the usual day to day activities of the temple. The Master found himself bothered by this. Though it didn't essentially do anything "wrong" he felt as though the temple should be treated as such. Not as though it were an obstacle course or jungle gym.

"Mepheysia is correct Padawan. You could have injured yourself. To test your limits is one thing yet as Jedi we must be careful not to exhibit carelessness when doing so. The temple is to be respected and treated as such. A place of higher learning."

He meat his words to install thought within he mind of the Padawan rather then scold and hoped it did not come off as such. Turning back towards Mepheysia he he chose to indulge his curiosities.

"I sense you have a lot on your mind. Still getting acclimated to life as a Jedi?"

Mepheysia was unfamiliar with such behavior from another person. She watched the acrobatic Jedi with apprehension as he moved away from her. Before she could respond the Master Talohn answered for her adding a gentle rebuke. Pursing her lips together, she turned her attention back to him, noticing how he addressed the reckless padawan.

Her eyes shifted back to the newcomer briefly before answering the Battlemaster. "Yes, Master Talohn," she answered simply, afraid to delve into too many specifics. "I learn each day how much I still do not know and strive to further my knowledge in the precepts of the Order."

Roy nodded at his fault and bowed to the battle master in respect “my apologies, thank you for the insight” Roy said with an embarrassed expression. Half of the act of controlled recklessness was to make an attractive appearance to get the fellow padawan’s attention sense he thought she was cute.

Roy wandered if he got into the wrong foot with this fine people, Roy wanted to show he was more than what they saw him because of his action. Roy was also pretty new to the Jedi style of life after just being a full time bounty hunter a month ago so he was still learning Jedi etiquette. Roy looked at Mepheysia with a wide smile before looking back at the master before him.

OOC: Lets set up an OOC thread, keeps the thread tidy.

Darix allowed a smile as the Padawan told him of the hardships she was facing adjusting to life within the Order. It could be considered a right of passage of sorts as he too, and countless other Jedi experienced similar feelings when first joining. It was not unusual in the slightest.

"They are feelings that all Jedi experience. Myself included. Though soon you'll begin to find that things that were once overwhelming are easily dealt with. I would be more than happy to help you and answer any questions you may have along the way. Even if you just need someone to talk to. We're a family here.'

He extend a pleasant nod of acceptance to Roy as well as he took into account how his action may have affected those around him. Tough Darix wanted to reinforce the fact that he was here to help and guide, not scold and punish. He made certain that his tone was friendly and kept his body language open so as not to instill any thoughts of doubt or negativity towards the fellow Jedi

"No need for apologies my friend. As Mepheysia was just saying, there is always a lesson to be learned in every situation we encounter, both as Jedi, and as people. Even in my position and time with the order, I still understand that that part of being a Jedi means never accepting perfection, but always seeking to better yourself."

Meph looked once more to Roy and could not help but smile at his sudden embarrassment despite the heart attack he nearly gave her. Was he trying to impress her with his erratic behavior? Brushing her hair behind her left ear, she turned her attention back to the Master.

How could the man standing before her even experience a taste of what she was feeling? He was everything she was not. One would not become a Jedi Master if they could not master the lightsabre forms. "Master Talohn, although I do have to...strive...to follow the precepts, I find them easier than another portion of my training." She looks embarrassed to be admitting this to one such as he. Was she being too frank? "It is the...physical aptitude of my training." Please understand what I'm trying to say. Do not make me embarrass myself further in saying it aloud, she thought. Already her inadequacies had brought undo laughter and taunting from the younger initiates.

Roy turned to look at the other initiates with a glare that screamed to back off and go on about you business. Roy was now being as protective towards her as a dog to his owner, Roy some times did that without noticing, especially towards girls that he thought where cute and vulnerable like her. It was totally unfair for them to be like that. Turning to Meph with a playful smile, he leaned over to look at her eyes “everyone was young at some point love. When I first came here, I walked right in without permission and right towards the cafeteria; I panicked once I noticed where I was and what I had done!” Roy said, laughing when he looked back at that moment “I was hysterical, but the Jedi came to me with open arms’ Roy said, meaning to say that it was ok to feel the way she did and that it was normal. “You will learn in time, I guarantee it and I bet every master would as well. Trust in the force and have both perseverance and faith in yourself."

He had heard her thoughts as if she had spoken them clearly aloud. A gift from years of experience and force training.

"Please understand what I'm trying to say"

He responded through the force, silently speaking to her with its gentle touch, allowing her the confidence and discretion she had hoped to maintain.

"I understand completely. And would be happy to help, if you wished. That sort of thing is my specialty"

He had not taken to training someone since he had returned from the unknown regions. Though it was a commitment he was eager to undertake. He glanced over and gave her bowed his head as he began to turn and regain his walk through the gardens. He smiled and bowed towards the others extending to them the mutual respect that all Jedi were to share with one another.

"My friends, it has been a pleasure. Though I have some matters to attend to. Please excuse me."

"If you would like to speak more on the matter miss Torlan, I encourage you to meet with me again. I have a temporary quarters here on Typhon where I can easily be reached. I hope to see you soon."

Meph shyly smiled at Roy's story, even chuckling at his expression as he relayed his story. "Thank you, Roy," she told him. At Talohn's private words, hope began to blossom within her.

"Of course. Thank you, too, Master," she answered him with a bow of her head, conveying her appreciation for his discretion and words of encouragement. The seed had been planted. The question now was would she take the generous offer which had been made. The signs were favorable. "I should get back to my studies," she told Roy as she turned back to him.

Roy could see that she was new to flirting and loving emotion so he was honored to be the first one to express it to her and teach her about it. Bowing down to the master, he saw wisdom on the guy so he immediately knew his words where of higher value and they were to be kept close and learned from. once Meph turned to him with the realization that she now had to leave, Roy smiled and nodded before leaning over to give he a soft and bold smooch on the cheek “if you want, we can hang out in the gardens later this after no one” Roy proposed in her ear playfully wile placing a piece of paper with the time on it on her hand. Having said all he wanted, he stepped back with a smile before walking away and into the temple. It’s a date? Force only knows’ he said to himself before disappearing to go to important tasks at hand.
