Our New Admins

It’s time! Time to announce our newest administrators here on The Star Wars RP. Although we said we were choosing two, we’ve actually chosen THREE people from the group of applicants. We had a lot of really good choices for admin, but, in the end, we couldn’t choose them all.

Without further adieu, our new admins are... Padme, Empress Adena, and Jiang!

• Padme is a first time admin, and she’ll be joining us as the first ever SWRP Profile Admin. Her friendships with basically everyone on the site and her ability to know what works and what doesn’t in the RP will be a valuable asset as she ensures that profiles are following the rules and work here on SWRP.
• Empress Adena is one of the original admins from the earliest days of SWRP, having been an administrator and then administrative adviser from 2005 to 2007. She’ll be joining us again as our newest RP Admin. Adena knows virtually everything about the mythology of SWRP lore, so she’ll be able to bring some interesting ideas to the table as RP Admin. A SWRP hipster, Adena was creating lore here before it was cool.
• Jiang will also be re-joining the team, in spite of our better judgment and the divine order set by God our Father in Heaven. He was an admin from 2010 to 2012, when he went inactive and was no longer able to fulfill his duties. With that behind us, we’ve decided to bring him back on the team. He’ll be shifting gears from having been a “jack of all trades” admin to being a Profile Admin. We don’t consider him a co-first Profile Admin because we chose Padme first. And because he’s a furry. ****ing furries.

Please join me in welcoming these three (or in two cases, back) to the team! We’re really looking forward to working with them (or in two cases, again), and we’re really pleased with the prospects for how the staff will be operating moving forward.

Congratulations again to Padme, Adena, and that satanic furry demon!
