Out of curiosity,

this game looks interesting (and I hope they just flat out go with the KOTOR gameplay engine, but I doubt it :( ) but I got to ask: Do we have to buy the box and STILL P2P or is it also going F2P but Pay 2 Win? I mean look at DC. I love that game personally, and its going F2P, but from what Ive seen, this doesnt have anything unlike DCUO to catch my eye. DCUO is an action game as much as it is an MMO, and I like that fast paced gameplay. That being said, what am I going to expect? P2P continuously or Pay 2 Win?

it's subscription based , iirc about $10 (US) a month ( though cheaper through longer package deals) though you DO get 30 days automatically when you buy it.

Given what I've seen ( and paying VERY close attention) you are looking at something very " new" in the MMO world, but VERY classic bioware way of doing things ( you see things from Kotor/JE/ME/DA that they have learned along the way as far as story telling gathering npc companions and retaining relationships ' be it friendly, rival or romance' with them.

So it`s old school DC P2P, only 5 bucks cheaper a month. No biggie there then. One other thing: Gameplay. How does it play? Attack then cool down (especially on melee things like lightsabers which clearly move at more than just one combo at a time and look literally continuous) a la WoW (*pukes and dies on the inside*) or will it be much more in line with DCUO as being more action oriented as in, press a button and he attacks. Or will it literally be a translation of sorts of the KOTOR gameplay that is also controller compatiable.

Bioware has so many countless videos out be it through the SWTOR site, or biowareTV Im sure you could get a better idea....other than it looks fast. I know nothing of DCu ( Ima marvel and indi girl so wouldn't touch anything with a DC logo other than bats or their spin off companies >.< )

to put it simply, DC's gameplay is the love child of the Spider-Man video game franchise with the open world roaming (though there's 2 cities) and the X-Men Legends action MMO where the shoulder buttons (for those who use controllers) access your powers while pressing the punch button actually makes him punch, sprinkled in with classic MMO beats throughout.
