Turok watched as the two initiates walk down the street. He had been stuck in this city for weeks and he knew the Jedi would eventually find him. The golden eyed one almost saw me. I need to be more careful. He thought to himself, As soon as one them spots me this city will come down me but I must make sure they don't know about me. He follwed them down the street ducking into ally ways when ever they would look behind them.

Initiate Rein saw his eyes searching his memory. She sensed the resentment in the face. If anything, she envied him. He was with the Jedi longer and got along better with the Jedi. He didn't seem to have as much loneliness and ache boring the insides of him. Calei scrunched her nose as she tried to remember where Correlia. "Noise is good," she said plainly, just because. She shifted more towards his left as he stretched. Absentmindedly, she took down her ponytail to play with her hair, twisting it and scrunching it, running her fingers through any knots as she walked. This usually meant she was concentrating.

Calei blew air out her nose significantly as he asked about her. "I didn't reach the Jedi until I was nine. I was on Cathar previously for, well, half my life. So, I remember a lot," the Initiate grimaced as a pang of homesickness stabbed her right behind her sinuses. She swallowed, trying to get moisture in her throat to distract her from the moisture beading around her eyes. She quickly wiped her eyes just in case. The Jedi were her family, and nothing more to that. It's been a long time since she realized how far away from home she was. But never mind that, you belong here.

The Jedi Initiate suddenly flinched, feeling a wave of darkness in the Force. It rumbled and metaphorically poked her, warning her. She quickly grabbed his hand, stopping Cyrus. "Do you feel that too?" She asked, speaking quietly and quickly.

Cyrus walked in silence as Calei explained where she came from, it was clear she was sad, he hadn't spent much time with people who had an actual past, so he didn't really know what to say, so he said nothing. Suddenly she flinched at something invisible, Cyrus just assumed it was an insect of some kind, before he felt a slight pressure in the back of his head, which Cyrus commonly attributed to the Force. She asked him a question, though Cyrus didn't really hear it, so he nodded absently.

He quietly scanned the crowd watching for anyone he deemed suspicious. He subconsciously raised his head higher, straightened his back and puffed out his chest slightly to make himself a little larger. He spoke without looking down at Calei "Let's just keep walking to the Starport." His hand drifted back to his Lightsaber, lightly tapping it with his index finger as the two initiates walked naturally, though it was clearly a forced calmness. They neared the Starport, they were about two blocks away and could easily see the comings and goings of ships as they went about their business. Cyrus calmly looked around once more, the crowd of people that usually inhabited Jedha was smaller here, less dense. Making it easy to navigate through.

Kriff, they felt him and he knew it. Angrily he turned down a side ally in hopes of cutting them off before they could notify anymore Jedi. Maybe if I confronted them, I could attempt to persuade them into not alerting authorities. This most likely wouldn't work but at this rate he would be dead before the end of the days end anyways. He continued through the alleys heading to the Starport at a quick pace trying to remain calm to try to prevent his presents from giving him away.

Calei rolled her eyes, but away from where Cyrus couldn't see. No matter how tough he looked, she wasn't sure if the two of them could handle a Sith. She only recently got her lightsaber. He seemed really pressed to go to the Starport, there were more people there, sure. She wasn't sure of this Sith, it wasn't a strong presence, but a Sith nonetheless. She chewed on her lip as they walked. She tried to continue the conversation: "Okay, well thank you for answering to the conversation," she commented, letting annoyance ring through her voice. She spoke clearly and with a little more volume than a normal conversation.

She felt the Sith's presence loom closer. It was almost getting in front of them. She quickly drew the lightsaber out of it's holster (sheath?), she didn't light it, but she kept her left hand gripping it tightly. Calei picked up her pace. The presence didn't seem malicious so, maybe, they were just hear to gather information. And Calei wasn't going to let that happen. There was an alley way opening roughly ten meters in front of the two Jedi. Rein drew in a breath, looked to Cyrus, and bounded forward. She quickly turned into the alley way, facing the man in the red cloak.
"Nice shade of red you've got on."

Calei seemed like she was attempting to act natural, though Cyrus was a little startled by the increase in volume. He gave Calei a sideways glance and continued to walk along. He watched silently as she unclipped her lightsaber from her belt, misinterpreting it as a simple way to make oneself prepared and to stay calm, as he would commonly do. Cyrus felt the Sith inch ever so closer to them, and he knew that Calei felt it too, she suddenly picked up her pace, leaving Cyrus a few steps behind her. The Sith's prescience was closer now, though he couldn't determent where it truly was, though Calei seemed to have a better idea that he did. She neared an adjoining ally, and turned slightly to look back at Cyrus, who gave her a serious Don't you dare look before she moved quickly and rounded into the ally.

Cyrus quickly moved forward to catch up to her, unclipping his own lightsaber as he rounded the corner. He looked down the ally at the man Calei had just spoken too, though Cyrus couldn't make out many details of the figure. He stepped forward and positioned himself to the left of Calei and forward an extra step, and simply watched the figure down the ally.

Turok was suprised when the golden eyed one rounded the corner. "She's brave than i thought normally initiates run to safety of their masters," he thought. She mentionedsomething about red but he paid no attention to it. The boy came up beside her and positioned himself slightly infront of her and again he paid no attention to it. "Stay your blades Initiates if I wanted to kill you I would have done it in the market," he said with an up raised hand. He removed his hood to show is face in hopes of beinfgless intimidating. As he did this he thought "please let this work."

Calei stepped forward and shouldered Cyrus aside, nearing the Sith. "Who are you, and why are you here? Drop all weapons you have on you, here." She pointed on the ground with the unlit saber. Rein watched the Sith as he unveiled himself. He had alert eyes that watched both of the Initiates. Her heart was racing and she felt clammy, but she held her gaze. "Both of us are apprenticed to great Jedi, and I'm even apprenticed to the Grand Master himself. He won't be happy if I have to call him from his duties at the Temple."

Calei winced as she talked, sounding like she was about to cry her throat was that stiff. She wanted to look back at Cyrus, for any guidance, but she refused to take her eyes off the Sith. The presence about him wasn't menacing, but even a Sith Marauder can hide his intentions. She scanned him for any weapons. Her thumb was on the switch of her saber. Swallowing, she kept her glare to the Sith.

As Calei nudged Cyrus to the side, he lightly grabbed her sleeve, making himself ready to run and pull her along with him if needed. He knew that if a fight broke out, the two initiates would be vastly outmatched, they would be very very lucky if they both got out alive. He listened to Calei's voice quaver, she seemed shaken though she didn't want to back down. This of course went completely against Cyrus' instincts, he hated the Sith, truly, it wasn't hard to detect, but he knew when to pick a fight and right now this wasn't it.

Instead of dragging the girl away however, Cyrus simply kept his hand holding her sleeve, he would not let her go any further. He kept his eyes locked with the Sith, unconsciously, and without even realising he was feeling anything, he was radiating anger into the force, leaving his presence probably more overbearing than the Siths'. He waited in silence for the Sith to respond, never blinking, hoping Calei would turn away so they could leave.

"Im sure the Grand Master would not approve of trying to intimitide a Sith. He'd probably deem it as foolish and unwise like your friend here and if I am going to disarm myself , I would ask you to do the same. My name is Turok but you may know by another name but i will not tell you that name." Turok said this as he unclicked his crimson sabers from his belt and held them in his hands expectantly.

Calei smirked, the Sith was right, she would be thoroughly chewed out by Grand Master Pelora. She felt the tugging on her sleeve from Cyrus, she tried to shake him off. She felt the anger radiating from him, its rays dissolving Calei's confidence. She didn't know who or what he mad about, but it was most likely her and what she did. She huffed out through her nose. "Nothing is unwise, if done with good enough reason," Calei said quietly. Her eyes burned into Turok's. He had age on him, a little bit of arrogance but a whole lot of storminess she could pry into.

"Turok,"
the name felt odd on her tongue, "Tell me your intentions here, for Jedha, and then there's a possibility I'll drop my saber." There wasn't a chance she'd drop her lightsaber, but she had a plan with it. The adrenaline flowing through her made her lips curl into a nervous grin. She felt something, a familiar emotion ebbing out from the Sith. "Redemption?" Calei asked, it was honestly more of a statement than a question. She said it quietly, almost sadly. She had never had a specific quarrel with the Sith, it was just something she was expected to do.

Cyrus took a chance while the two others were distracted by their useless conversation, he quickly looked around, making sure they had an exit, while also hoping to see any other Jedi or even one of the Rangers. Unfortunately, the Sith had chosen his location well, there was almost no one around. Which only made Cyrus worry more. He refocused more on the present, actually hearing the conversation going on between the two opposites. Turok was indeed an odd name, not one Cyrus had heard before, Calei seemed intent on prying for information, though he was unsure why.

When Calei said redemption, Cyrus scoffed, and mumbled to himself. The Sith didn't deserve redemption, they have done too many bad things to warrant even trying. Though he was intrigued, the Sith was offering to disarm himself, at least of his visible weapon. Cyrus, with the little experience he had with Sith, did not believe this was a common occurrence. Cyrus followed Calei's lead, she had engaged the Sith, now she can resolve the situation.

"I have no intentions for this place," Turok stated bluntly, "my ship crashed on this planet due to engine failure and ive been stuck on blasted planet for long." Turok's head snapped to look at the boy as he scoffed when the Golden eyed one mention "Redemption." Turok's face darkened a bit as he said, "Can one be redeemed for slaughtering countless innocents and Jedi alike? I dont believe there is."

Calei's eyes narrowed. "There are ships coming and going to this planet. I'm sure you could find someone at the right price to take you off of this planet, even quietly. And if you've been on this planet for long, you would have been sensed already." Her eyes scanned the Sith once more. He had to have something more in plan. Sith don't even fly their ships around areas so concentrated with Jedi. She sighed deeply, and stretched her arms, as a subtle sign of we're going to go soon, aimed at Cyrus.

Calei felt her neck hair stand on edge when he mentioned the slaughters of the Jedi. She felt a rush of anger in her mind and a rush of bile in her throat, she swallowed it, and tried to continue the interrogation.
"Were there any others on your ship?" The Initiate was young, and therefore thought that everyone deserved mercy and another chance. Multiple emotions stormed her brain, and echoed around her body. She grazed the inside of her mouth with her canines. She also didn't feel like getting others involved. She only had a few more questions for the Sith, whether the answers were true or not, she at least tried. "And what's your current rank with the Imperials? If you truly didn't mean to come to this planet, so be it, leave as soon as possible and don't cause any trouble. I will hear about it." Rein took a small step back, as if to question what the next move the Sith will make.

Cyrus was getting impatient, this line of questioning is simply useless, in his mind at least. The two Initiates should report this Sith to the Jedi, he cannot be permitted to stand on holy ground. But Calei thinks this is the preferable option, so Cyrus will continue to follow her lead. She indicated that she was almost satisfied with this event, and that the two Initiates were about to leave.

Before Cyrus could even formulate another thought in his head, he felt Calei's anger, which in turn made him realise just how angry he was. Immediately he forced himself to calm down, it was unbecoming of a Jedi to act like he had, and he felt ashamed that he couldn't recognise his own emotions. Instead of dwelling on it, Cyrus simply looked up at the Sith, and for the first time spoke to him "What is the Other Name we might know you by?" Cyrus kept his voice even, though it was commanding, as if he wouldn't allow the Sith to refute the question.

Turok's eyes met the boy's and with a low tone he almost whispers, "The Butcher." His face darkens even more almost recalling the old days. With that he drops both of his sabers at his feet and pulls out a mask, that had been hidden a pouch. The mask showed signs of serious ware and if closely inspected one would find dried blood still caked in the recesses of the mask. Turok looked at the mask only briefbriefly before tossing it at the Jedi 's feet, "Take that too your masters if you must it no longer serves a purpose with me. To answer your question golden one there were no others on my ship. I left the Sith only a short while ago." With he held his arms out as if to be cuffed, "Go on take me to your masters if im to be judged let it be done through one who has earned."

"Do not call me that," Calei spat, feeling pure fury boiling in her blood and venom rose in her throat. Tears stung at her eyes. She was bristling, and she knew the others noticed. She kicked away the mask, sending it flying down the alley way. "They will have no use for it. Leave Jedha. If you truly want to be judged, take those sabers and light them at your own throat," Rein's brain was clouded with frustration of not knowing exactly what to do. Her palms were curled into fists, her fingernails raking into her palms.

"I say if you're still here by nightfall, I'll have the others hunt you down and you'll be caught. If not, live your new life as you choose," Calei looked to her fellow Jedi, "I don't know what you suggest, if you want to arrest him, so be it. I don't care." Calei met Turok's eyes, almost burning her gaze into them. She shot Cyrus a look as if to say I'm done here, and p.s. I'm sorry. Initiate Rein spun around and left the alley. As she reached the street, tears streamed down her face and she ran.

Cyrus was a little taken aback, it was out of character for Calei to act like that, though it was an understandably stressful situation. She gave him a look, it was most certainly an unhappy look, one of frustration before she bolted around the corner. Cyrus tried to tighten his grip on her sleeve but he was unprepared for her sudden movement. Cyrus quickly turned back to the Sith, making sure he wasn't trying anything tricky, before turning slightly back to watch the corner. He knew that if it came down to it he would lose in a fight against the man, and his only backup just ran.

Cyrus kept his eyes locked with the Sith's, while slowly backing away. He reached the corner and stopped, "Please leave Jedha." His voice was completely even, and his tone was neutral. After that, he turned the corner and proceeded to walk quietly towards the temple, hoping that was where Calei had gone.

Turok watched as the girl leave, he felt a hint of sadness as she left. He looked at the boy when he spoke and replied, "How can I leave when i feel drawn to this place? I guess it matters little now." He picked up his sabers, reclipping them to his belt, and his mask. "Go on young one. She needs you and if you feel the need to find me. I'll be outside the city by the east gate." He said while leaving the Jedi in the alley.

Calei, meanwhile, had no idea where she was going. Her emotions were flying away from her and into the Force. She didn't realize just how many emotions had surfaced until her lungs started to spasm from the sobs. It was roughly still mid-afternoon, luckily. Rein called out apologies as she bumped into civilians. She was making great distance, and she didn't realize that she was nearing the Temple. She grimaced, forgetting that the Grand Master was to be joining her on Jedha after their last mission. He wouldn't be pleased with what had just happened. She wondered what even happened with the Sith. A wave of regret and shame washed over her as she realized that she left Cyrus. One, without backup, two, not even making sure he was okay.

A million thoughts were flitting and intertwining in her brain, sending it into a frenzy of hysteria. Rein slowed as she neared the Temple, she refused to have anyone see her like this. When she cried, her eyes glowed from the tears. And when they were tears of anger, it scared her. Ever since Nal Hutta, ever since she had to take her first life, the world as she knew it crumbled beneath her. Initiate Rein slumped down against a nearby wall, and tried to quiet her crying.
