Calei looked back to Cyrus as if to say thank you. She needed a little bit of time to think, to process. She softly cocked her head, listening carefully to the exchange between Cyrus and Turok. She felt the hair on the back of her neck stand on end, as Turok mentioned "younglings". She fidgeted subconsciously, her eyes boring into the Sith. He was sincere, and more importantly, he was telling the truth. She crossed her arms. Rein sighed, trying to think of ways to handle this situation.

"I'm sure the younglings would appreciate the fact that you spared their lives," she commented, trying to sound optimistic. She was personally thinking that no one should have to thank them for sparing their lives when they were innocent, but Rein kept her tone neutral. She passed a look to Cyrus again, what should we do? "Is there anything you are hoping to gain from us?" She was still doubting herself for even lightly trusting the Sith, and paranoid scenarios passed over her train of thought. "I can convince the Jedi Masters to hear you out, if you'd like."

Cyrus' initial emotions and judgements of this Sith were changing. He still didn't like him, but if what the man said was true, it earned the Sith Cyrus' respect. After all, it wasn't often Sith spared anyone's lives, let alone Jedi lives. Cyrus slightly changed his posture, letting his arms relax at his sides while Calei spoke her mind.

Her thoughts about the masters echoed his own, there was a reason the Sith was here, and Cyrus was beginning to accept that even Turok didn't know what that reason was. He looked around again, being careful to make sure no one saw the three people talking. There wouldn't be many happy faces if it was found out that two Initiates were speaking to Sith without their masters approval or oversite.

(ooc: Sorry for my stupidly late and relatively poor reply, my brain has been cooked recently.)

Turok looked down considering his options, there weren't many. Coming to a conclusion, he stood up and refixed his gaze on the initiates, "would you give me a day to think it over? If you need to find me before the day's end, headout the east gate and go 8 clicks out. There you'll find the wreckage of my ship." He turned to leave but stopped and looked back at them while unclipping his sabers. "Take these to who ever you want. I no longer have any use for them." He said offering them up for grabs.

(I'm currently gauzed up and packing for school, so also super sorry for the late reply)

Calei watched as the Sith, former Sith, offered them his sabers. She stared at them blankly, speechless for a moment. "Shouldn't you keep them for any protection?" The Initiate called towards Turok, genuinely concerned, but he was already moving away from them. She turned to Cyrus, "What do we, uh, do...?"She looked back to where Turok had gone, then back to Cyrus. Rein was confused, very. She couldn't quite walk around with the lightsaber of a Sith, especially when the Masters had no idea about the situation.

She sighed, and looked towards the Temple. After today, she wanted to sit and maybe read a little. Actually, she needed to meditate. After enough thought, she had to give Cyrus more detail about everything. She turned to him once again,
"I'm sorry about not telling you, Cyrus. I'll explain more as we walk back towards the Temple?" Calei Rein suggested lightly. As they began to walk, she huffed. "My latest mission with the Grand Master was rescuing some Hutts from a bad crash. We had to fight off some thieves, meaning I had to kill two of them. Ever since, I've felt different and ashamed."

Cyrus had a look of slight bewilderment as the Sith offered his sabers, it was a foreign concept, surrendering ones weapons. Both Initiates seemed unable to make a decision, and after a few moments Calei began to delicately move the two Jedi out of the conversation. The Sith left, for one reason or another, but Cyrus wasn't particularly concerned, he had a feeling that the Sith would hold to his word of wear to be found. Cyrus moved away with Calei, who began speaking before Cyrus could say anything.

The two Jedi in training walked and talked, Calei explained herself, and Cyrus nodded to himself as she spoke. When she finished her sentence, Cyrus gave her a small reassuring smile as he tilted his head to look down at her, "There is no reason to apologise, its not a matter that would come up in our regular conversation." His eyes fell away from Calei's as he looked down at the ground for a moment "I can only offer my advice, which comes from someone who hasn't had that experience, I've never killed anyone. There is no reason to feel ashamed, different makes sense, it isn't something you forget, but from the way I'm hearing it, you fought off raiders to save crash survivors. That is an incredible act of kindness and bravery, even if two people died, its nothing to ashamed of." He gave her another what he hoped was a reassuring smile before he turned his eyes back to the path they were walking down.

Calei listened to Cyrus. She appreciated what he had to say, and appreciated the support. It helped the Initiate, who has been utterly confused with herself. It only helped slightly, but it made her heart feel a little lighter. Smiling softly and nodding her head in gratitude, she replied. "Thank you. I know this is over-optimistic thinking, but I hope you never have to take a life. I know you may have to, but if you need any help, you can come to me."

Her diaphragm expanded as she breathed in. She exhaled slowly. "You're kinda my only friend," she said softly and shyly, but in an almost joking matter. Her mouth quirked slightly in a smirk. She turned where they had come from, almost looking for Turok. When he didn't show up, she faced forward. When her eyes met Cyrus for a brief moment, she tried to shadow her new opinion of the Sith--former Sith. Her golden eyes moved to her feet and she chuckled. What a day.
