Cloud City, Bespin, Anoat Sector

Standing on the edge of a roof on an skyscraper Minerva without her helmet looked out to the setting sun amongst the red clouds. A half smile formed on her face. Been here a few times over the years but I never get tired of this view. Thought the young warrior.

An entire city floating in the heavens. Sounds like something out of a myth if not for technology making it possible.

Suppressing a sigh Minerva put on her helmet. It was time to carry out her purpose here. While her comrades Eisa and Curse were busy with some business on the other side of the city she had her own mission.

Miles away to the north was a fortress style estate owned by her target, an Ishi Tib criminal boss named Vus Radreff. Squeezing her fists she scowled. “Not only does the scum help traffic Mandalorian artifacts in the blackmarket but actually flaunts his own collection.” The very thought boiled her blood and now she is going to make the glorified thief paid for his arrogance.

Of course Vus had a small private army of mercs and security droids at his estate. That is why she for going an unconventional approach. While speeders and ships flew over with engines whining Minerva steps inside an brown hovertruck that she had bought off from a gungan used dealer hours ago. Activating the truck Minerva flew off the rooftop and straight for her destination. At first the truck maintained normal speed for several minutes but as it drew closer she slammed down the throttle.

At full speed the truck dive toward the eastern section of the estate and violently crashed through a large window. Metal screeched and sparks flew as the craft battered through and Minerva held on for dear life. A momemt later the truck abruptly stopped nearly throwing the young Mandalorian off. Heart pounding Minerva let out a sigh of relief before getting up and drawing her blaster rifle.

“Time to get ready.”

Said the warrior with defiant amusement and went into the back of the truck. Meanwhile outside in what was the lounge area, fire alarms blared as a dozen mercenaries wearing green matching uniforms stormed inside from the entrance. Their leader, a female Weequay ordered with a scatterblaster commands.

“Spread out boys and secure the area. The boss says kill whoever is inside there if they’re alive, whether this is an accident or not.”

Subsequently, thick gray smoke burst out from from the crashed speeder as its backdoor opened, covering the room and causing the building’s sprinkler system to activate. The mercs swear and groan as the water rain down as they struggled to see. Then a shadowy figure rolled into their midst and fired one shot point blank range in the commander’s stomach. Utter mayhem ensued with multiple blaster shots flashed and cries rang out in the devastated room.

Ferus had come to Bespin seeking information regarding rumored sightings of what seemed like another Vúlfurian verdgoran hiding in a nearby system. However, something else had undoubtedly caught his attention. His Mythrol contact had not only shared critical information about a Vúlfurian in Batuu but had also told Ferus of an infamous Ishi Tib crime lord named Vus Radreff. Rumour was that Vus' estate held an assorted collection of stolen Mandalorian artifacts. The thought immediately disgusted the Mandalorian, for most of these acquisitions probably stemmed from Galactic Empire's rampant looting during the Great Purge.

The Vúlfurian hoped that perhaps some of these artifacts once belonged to his clan. Nonetheless, even if none of these artifacts proved to be Vúlfurian, it was Ferus duty as a Mandalorian to reclaim them from the possession of a swine like Vus Radreff. No one should be allowed to collect the memorabilia of the Mandalorian sorrows, no matter how powerful.

Thus the Mandalorian soon found himself perched atop one of Cloud City’s skyscrapers, one with a good view of Radreff’s estate. Ferus scanned the place with his Macrobinoculars, looking for openings and security flaws as he devised a straightforward but efficient plan of attack. His thumbs tapped the sides of the Macrobinoculars lightly in a rhythmic motion that matched the relentless thought patterns of the warrior-artisan, his plans made and unmade as quickly as he assessed new information and designed new conclusions. This was going to be tough to pull off, perhaps Ferus would need to find help and return later.

A hovertruck accelerating towards the estate drew his attention. Ferus eyes widened in shock, and before he could ever hope to formulate a logical conclusion the truck drove straight through a window of the crime lord estate. The Vúlfurian immediately shouldered his E-11 Sniper, looking through the scope at the recently started commotion. He tracked movement within the hovertruck, unable to deduce who or what was behind such a daring attack. His answer once again came quickly, as the back door of the vehicle slung open unleashing a wave of green smoke that soon spread to encompass the room. However, Ferus' vision was sharp enough to allow a glance of the attacker. He smiled.

Mandalorian.” He concluded and began firing. Sniping enemies within a room filled with smoke is difficult, and this challenge is then further compounded by the natural bobbing of the atmospheric cities of Bespin. Be that as it may, Ferus’ excellent marksmanship proved more than a match for the task, as his carefully placed shots landed, clearing the flank of the unknown Mandalorian as it paved a path of destruction through the estate.

Eliminate the Target, bring proof, and you will be paid handsomely. The words of the client rang through the Mandalorian's helmet, as he scanned the area around the Bespin estate. Armed with two duel blasters hidden beneath his cloak, the Child of the Watch would slowly make his way down the streets, several citizens looking and quickly scurrying away.

Rynn would pause as he took position across the street from the estate, only a road and walking platforms seemed to stand in their way. Examining his options, the young hunter planned the best way to combat this job. It seemed heavily guarded, "I'm going to need some bigger guns," he'd coughed and wheezed beneath his helmet.

But, just like the force seemed to will some sort of chaos into play. A truck came screaming through the entrance and blaster fire began. A gang war, most likely. The hunter would worry not, drawing on both his blasters he would break cover, aiming towards the green uniforms, shooting once and twice, knocking down one after the other.

With a twirl of his blasters, he would aim towards more targets--knocking one that targeted a figure who exited the truck. A Mandalorian? He paused for a moment, gritting his teeth, "Did the client hire you?" He called out as he pushed towards the wall that lined the estate.

Mayhem utter mayhem is what would best describe the situation in the lounge. The security team not equipped with heat detectors were at a vast disadvantage in the vast smoke. As for Minerva, not having that problem she rolled from one side, blasting one guard in the back and clubbing his partner in the face before shooting him in the chest. At first due to the sheer chaos the armored merc did not notice the sniper shots coming from outside, slaughtering the mercs.

However, when the smoke lessened she spotted a bolt that cut through a Nikto’s neck as he dropped sideways. Surprised Minerva turned around only to see the last guard fall revealing another Mandalorian behind him, one armed with dual pistols lining himself up to a wall. Swiftly he demanded an answer, causing Minerva to tilt her head in question before scowling underneath the helmet.

“I’m not here for some client but for honor! Now who you are and where your partner is? I know there is a sharpshooter out there.”

Keeping the rifle at the ready she waited for the other armored warrior’s answers.

Ferus’ scope danced across the battlefield with perfect precision. The sniper rifle bounced from target to target in fluid motions that almost always resulted in a clean kill, however sometimes not even the Mandalorian’s excellent aim managed to accompany the rhythmic killing spree. Despite the mistakes, the unknown Mandalorian warrior waltzing a path of destruction throughout the estate ensured that no one would be spared, even those few lucky enough to survive or the many hidden from the snipers’ scope. The Vúlfurian’s aim danced again, placing the head of another target in perfect sight. The Mandalorian’s trigger finger froze a split second before pushing the trigger.

Another?” He wondered as yet another Mandalorian entered the estate. Ferus’ eyes danced from side to side as his mind rushed, attempting to determine how low the odds were of three Mandalorians converting at the same place for the same time. Maybe these two were partners? Unlikely, they approached the estate from angles that did not seem previously arranged. The second Mandalorian slowly approached the Mandalorian woman, both of them allowing their blasters to fire with the skill traditional to the culture. Ferus quickly reached for his bag, reaching for a ball-shaped object. He launched the P-0-TC surveillance droid with a small throw.

The droid managed to arrive barely in time to witness a confrontation. “Now who you are and where your partner is? I know there is a sharpshooter out there.”. The spherical droid beeped loudly at his master’s command, attracting the attention of both the Mandalorians inside the estate. The ball whirred for a moment as it processed an assortment of functions, then began projecting a blue hologram of Ferus.

Verda.” The impersonal greeting seemed adequate for such an improbable situation. “I’m Ferus of Clan Vúlfur. I’m your sharpshooter.” He said as he nodded. “From what little I could grasp the defenses will probably increase as we near the artifacts, it would be wise for us to fight as one.” The Vúlfurian stopped for a split second, considering that perhaps one or neither of these Mandalorians were interested in these artifacts… Or whatever else you wish to do here.”
