I jizzed my pants again. It looks like there taking things SWG didnt **** up.

Instead of Butt**** nowhere like in SWG?

Player housing was something that was handled exceptionally well in SWG, spaceflight and on-board living spaces aswell although that was released in a later expansion.

I'd venture a guess and say there are certain areas of the spaceports in-game that are instanced, if you enter then your ship will be there waiting for you.

I'd imagine a big spaceport with an elevator or something, type in a code (i.e the name of your friend's ship) and you're taken to it's docking bay.

Thats not a bad idea, but there should be a permission thing like in SWG.

That's what I was thinking, loved that in the old days. Hanging out with the guild on my personal yacht.

This is an awesomely, insanely ambitious project. Man, I love BioWare! Both ships look sick! Everything has such detail and uniqueness, instead of having the same thing with a different paint job.

I'm just waiting to see how deep customization will be. I don't just want to add a different paint job to the exterior. The way they're talking, I want parts, and interior details.

It'd be interesting to be able to actively re-design the Interior completely and place objects where you want them, including Consoles etc.

I'm not sure how they could go about doing that - not that I don't like the idea.

There's always room to expand(sions).

Oh, I think expansions are a given.

They're setting the bar pretty high for the first-off.

The expansions will probably do more to continue the storylines than anything, the way I'm looking at it. Of course, that'll bring more planets/systems and 'loot'.

They also squashed the notion that you could practically solo a lot of the 'good' content, which was a misconception I think a lot of people had. You'll have to group to do a lot. Not to say I don't realize it is supposed to be an MMO, but not everyone will be guild-heavy, or even raid-heavy. It's a vicious cycle that every MMO has gone toward, and I've yet to see one that even tries to break the mold.

Then again, I never was a big MMO gamer.

I wonder if, with the player-ships/housing, they'll still have turret mini-games.

Ha; those are plainly awesome - they were and will always be one of the most awesome things ever (shooting down a Sith from a Turret is just epic), though I hope they'll remove the sounds (Vacuum doesn't carry sound so, you'd hear nothing when that thing is fired.)
