If only Storm were here...
I really enjoy having alcoholism as a sterotype as opposed to obesity or perhaps horrible dental conditions.
Is that on topic? I don't know.

I miss that Communist Brit. I think he is dead or something.
Cork Town Centre? With the farmers markets? That's in the back ass of nowhere in Ireland, walk down a street in Dublin City Centre, you can smell the booze off the walls. And like all stereotypes, complete rubbish.
I found Cork town centre to be very calm compared to some off the English towns off an evening.
To be fair, alcoholism for the Irish and bad dental conditions for the British are stereotypes. Obesity for Americans is a statistical probability.
finance is one of the few subjects I just never seem to be able to understand
I can't read and missed the "Independent" option. :V
Anyway, I'm a Democrat so I can vote in their elections. Other than that, I form my own opinions on subject matters. I just happen to share a lot of Democratic viewpoints. Pro-choice, pro-gay rights, pro-evolution, pro-separation of church and state, etc. I do not, however, see a Democratic viewpoint and go, "Oh! Democrats like this! I must believe it!"
Seeing how topics revolving around the economy go waaay over my head (finance is one of the few subjects I just never seem to be able to understand), I avoid them as much as possible to not seem like an uninformed prick. I stick to mostly social issues.
I really would of thought all of you guys would be liberals. Star Wars just isn't a conservative thing to me.
We have/had Nazis on this site, hardcore fundamental Roman Catholics, and Tea Party people.
In addition, we had had: people who go from staunch atheist to Heathen, fundamental Catholic to agnostic, people who have attempted suicide, people from New Zealand.
Welcome to the site of social deviants.
