It varies from state to state. Some states say you cannot have alcohol at all before 21, while some are okay with it so long as your parents or guardian are there and bought it for you.

Depends on the state, and in my state, depends on the city or town. Though, generally, no one cares here. The clubs and bars (most of them in downtown) serve to anyone. The places my friends I frequent usually check at the door to see our driver's licenses to see if we are 18 or older, and give us a wristband (one for 18-20 year olds, one for 21+ year olds). At the bar itself, no one asks for your wristband, so we can order drinks no problem.

hmm... yeah, here in Norway you can drink anything with 22% (I belive) or less at 18, and at 20 you can drink whatever you can get your hands on...

I think a few states have it where as said, if a guardian is present, and it's on private property it's fine, " but this is never 100% ' allowed' more a blind eye" but technically purchasing and consumption is suppose to be 21.

I had " two" firsts, Being from the UK initially, then moving to the states I had to wait again, not that it really mattered, I rather drink at home anyway.

First one back in those all but fading from memory teen days was a prince charlie I believe.


I do want to say though that I really think the late age in the U.S is a major factor in why it has alot more problems with alcohol related issues,

we really should make a thread on the issue though rather than waste more space here... >.<

There were four people including my aunt, and two other women One cop And four other men, I drunk three shots got to the living room and I just went boom, Woke up there was a women besides me sleeping after that I went to check on my aunt because I had to go, pee and She came out with her boy friend, anyways achaol bad for you it's a drug.
