I need to follow through on things I start. I tend to follow through on things when I have people expecting it from me. So here we go.
Any others interested and or practicing, please feel free to discuss with me. I, in no way, claim to be any kind of expert on this.
I'm mostly concerned with Natal Astrology (apparently also called "genethliacal"...whatever the #ell that means). If anyone's interested, I can try to pick whatever I can from it and, hopefully, expand my understanding of such a complex system. However, I will need the following:
Birth Date
Birth Time (must be exact)
Birth Place
If you don't feel comfortable releasing this information but would like to see your chart, PM me or do it yourself and send me the list/chart without the information contained. I can do my best to make my own chart, as well, if you just give me the planets/houses/signs and their degrees and minutes.
Note: I'm not kidding with the Birth Time, part. I need the exact minutes to make it as accurate as possible. It's pretty significant when considering where your Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, etc. lie not to mention aspects.
Here's mine for sh!ts and giggles:
Let's take my Moon, for instance.
-A Moon in Scorpio is so intense that it spends a great deal of energy protecting itself from its own emotions. Well aware of how powerful emotions can be (and never satisfied with superficial answers), Scorpio Moons can be suspicious of others and quick to judge, and can hold grudges for a very, very long time. At the same time, they have a desire to understand deep mysteries and get to the bottom of things, which makes Scorpio Moons' emotional nature both intuitive and potent, capable of stronger feelings than any other Moon sign. Scorpio Moons often seek their soul mates. Above all, Scorpio Moons feel with their intense emotions.
The Moon in the Sixth House can indicate a frequent desire to change jobs or positions. This placement needs to have emotional attachment to work and service, and to believe in the work being done. Moon in the Sixth House has great consideration for others, including coworkers. This placement also indicates that these people's health and productivity at work tend to fluctuate with their emotions. Emotional nurturing is very important to them, and they might work in restaurants, nutrition, food preparation, or other businesses associated with food. These people like to serve others by working closely with the public. Moon in the Sixth House may indicate fluctuations in health when there is stress in the workplace.
The Scorpio Moon is Square to both my Leo Jupiter and Aquarius Saturn.
-Noble Jupiter in Leo is big-hearted and self-confident, and radiates warmth and generosity. Jupiter in Leo thinks big and can inspire others to think big as well. Jupiter in Leo creates leaders that groups eagerly follow. With its flair for drama and its charismatic charm, Jupiter in Leo can sometimes get big-headed, but overall, Jupiter in Leo grows magnanimously.
Third House Jupiter often has a variety of intellectual interests and might achieve success through education, writing, or communication. This placement signals an enthusiastic, expansive mind with a strong philosophical foundation. Witty and optimistic, this placement is well-liked by others. Jupiter in the Third House also can indicate a great deal of travel, and, because these people are usually very interested in social trends and causes, many writers with this placement pursue topics of this nature.
**This Square indicates conflict between these two areas of life which are expressed the way they are. I'm sure to help others due to emotional obligations but I'm also wanting to gain information or provide it in a showy, interesting manner. Pouring my emotions into my work and into education can become fatiguing and I can become disheartened when my work isn't enough or others don't care for it. I try to make it as interesting for other as it is for myself, but I may become offended when they don't try as hard. Work is work and your ideals are your own.
-Saturn in the freedom-loving sign of Aquarius wants to run the whole show. It wants both freedom and order. And for this placement, it's all in the same package--Saturn in Aquarius teaches that discipline is freedom! Discipline open the flow to the goal and everything falls into place. Saturn can actually manifest quite well in individualistic Aquarius, especially when it is "allowed" to keep its stance of detached observation. Saturn in Aquarius needs to learn to set itself free.
With Saturn in the Ninth House, a person has a great desire to learn and carefully explore philosophy or religion. There's an inherent evaluation of new ideas because Ninth House Saturns are interested in social stability, but there's also a desire to know about everything. There can be a tendency toward fanaticism here, but these people often mellow with age, as wisdom develops. Ninth House Saturns often seek positions of authority or status in education, religious institutions, or businesses that deal with publishing, law, politics, or international affairs. They also might be university professors or public officials.
**It's difficult to mix general education in philosophy or ethics to mix with my working with others. I might put too much of my own beliefs into my work, making a strong emotional connection to them, only to learn that they're not valued, important, or necessary. The empathetic Moon might become callous when someone turns the wrong way after being warned. As compassionate and considerate as a Moon in Scorpio can be, they can be just as cold and biting. Those who go against the native's philosophy or religion are not forgive or considered worth their time. It's important to consider that not everyone holds that person's beliefs and "the wrong way" can just be "a different way."
Of course, I can be making this fit me since I know myself pretty well. (And I did with that last bit ;P)
And if anyone with more understanding of this than myself has anything to add (because anyone who knows this stuff would know I'm missing something) or correct, please do. I'd like to hear some input.
