OOC: although it says ask, feel free to message me (@Reylo4evr ) if you want to include a character that could fit in this plot line

Ronan carried the unconscious Jedi padawan through the halls of the Lictor class dungeon ship. Her light blonde hair hung like a curtain over his arm, her own arm dangling beside her. He had taken her prisoner after a brief raid- she had been the only Jedi there and his curiosity had gotten the better of him.

He stopped at an empty cell. He had discovered this dungeon ship floating through space with untended prisoners still in their cells. It looked as if someone else had raided it, taking the prisoners they needed. It was of no concern to him; it just so happened to suit his needs at the right time. He set the still body of the girl in the cell and locked the barred door. He stood there for a minute, watching her, as if trying to discern who she was. Eventually he walked towards the cockpit of the dungeon ship and sat down in the pilot's seat. Cameras of the different halls lined the control board and he watched them nonchalantly.

The fight wasn't fair at all. They came in way too fast and as soon as Hailee had started to fight back, she regretted doing so. She knew she wouldn't have a fair chance and yet her instinct was to defend herself instead of fleeing, which -in retrospective- would have been the smarter move. When she engaged in combat with the man, which soon turned out to be a powerful Sith lord or whatever (the only thing she could say for sure was that he was definitely force-sensitive, too), she had to realize that this battle would soon be lost and she would probably die. However, as she suddenly woke up, it came to her mind that she was not dead, but rather locked up somewhere, which was quite confusing for the young Padawan at first.

Startled, she rose from the ground, her pupils dilated from a mixture of fear and bewilderedness and her head vehemently aching. Even in the dim light she could see that her clothes were slightly torn and her skin bruised. She had been taking captive, so Hailey knew, because even though she had never seen a prison cell from the inside, the description perfectly fitted that stories she heard about dungeon ships. But who had taken her and why? Various strange thoughts and theories crossed her mind, but in the end she was not quite sure about why she landed on a dungeon ship, her hands untied and a cell door being the only thing keeping her away from freedom. She felt her confidence grow again while she tried to stabilize her still staggering position, but in the end she managed to ignore most of her pain and focus on her breathing. In....and out. In...and out. First she needed a clearer head, then she could focus on her escape and so she tried to regain her strength quickly. She would get out of her, she was pretty convinced about it, but what irritated her was the fact that this particular Sith Lord must have taken her and if Hailee hated one thing about her desperate situation, it was not knowing what the hell was even going on...

Ronan sat up when he saw the girl wake up on one of the camera feeds. He stood up and left the cockpit, walking down the hall back to the girl's cell. He felt the Force circling her, almost as if she was summoning up the strength to blow herself out of the cell. Ronan raised an eyebrow. "You aren't going to be able to escape," he said, startling her further.

Hailee closed her eyes and tried to relaxe as much as this precarious situation would allow it. She tried to remember everything the Jedi had already taught her and how important it was to keep her cool. By panicking or getting angry, she wouldn't achieve anything. By summoning all of her strength, she felt more and more confident and while she forced herself to one last deep and slow breath, she suddenly realized, that there were definitely steps approaching. Poised to attack and tensed she reopened her eyes which now fell upon the same man who she had fought probably a few hours ago and if she hadn't been seeing the metal cell bars, she would have just jumped at him instantly, viciously trying to harm him with the purpose of her being able to escape. She knew that this was a naive thought, but it made her extremely angry not being able to directly confront him. "Are you that afraid to face me or why was it necessary for you to lock me in?", she hissed provocatively, knowing that is was probably not the smartest choice to act defiantly, but the young woman was never the type for giving in easily.

The woman's comment only made Ronan's smirk grow. "Afraid of you? Need I remind you who is behind bars in this situation," he said, taking a step forward, and placing a hand on the bars. He was pleased- this woman did not appear to have a weak spirit. It would be fun breaking her.

He tilted his head. "I have put you in this cell for a reason, don't worry your pretty head about it," he said.

She didn't like the idea of him being amused by her threat and yet she knew that she could not let him know about it. But then she realized that no matter what she thought, he could read her mind either way. She knew she wouldn't have the strength to hide her own thoughts from him, but she could just try to read his and as she quickly went through them, she grew even more angry. She kept her confident gaze and even made another step towards him, not even the tiniest bit intimidated by this tall man. As she looked up to him, instead of backing down, she started to reciprociate his smirk. "Yeah? Is that so? Good luck. If you think you can actually use me for your purposes, you're even more foolish than I thought", she then replied fully unimpressed and even a little amused. Let him try, she thought to herself, as many men tried to break her before. Just like a phoenix rose from it's ashes, Hailee was never brought down by men with foul minds in any way. Why would he be different? He definitively knew what he was doing with the Force, but he wouldn't get far by simply manipulating her into doing things, that was something Hailee knew from her former master.

Ronan raised an eyebrow. He could feel the unfamiliar presence of the girl shifting through his mind, and he quickly threw her out. Inside his head was a dangerous place to be. "You dont know my purposes, love, so how can you say I am foolish when you are the one who got yourself into this situation," he said, baiting her like she baited him. This was quite fun. He hadn't had anything alive to talk to for some time.

Now she was close to loosing it. In her training, she had learned how to suppress her impulses and to remain calm and balanced, but this man vehemently triggered her from the very beginning. She knew that it would be foolish to attack in her position and yet she felt this burning anger, which she couldn't release. He had blocked his thoughts and all that remained was this arrogant comment and since this whole situation put her on edge. She was a prisoner to this cocky Sith Lord who was know talking to her like a frail, harmless little creature. "I clearly did not put myself in this situation", she hissed through clenched teeth, not sure what he even meant by that. "Maybe you'd like to enlighten me with your true purposes instead of locking me up and taunting me behind bars", she added, her voice still filled with a little bit of rage, even though she tried to calm herself down. He wanted to get under her skin, that was obvious, but she couldn't let him.

Ronan raised an eyebrow, placing his forehead on the cool bars. "No you didn't, did you. That was my fault," he smirked. "You want to know why I brought you here? You piqued my curiosity; you were the only Jedi in sight." Ronan technically wasn't lying. He looked at the woman. Looking at her, he couldn't deny it any longer- she was beautiful. He certainly wasn't going to tell her that though. He growled at himself. That would make interrogating her more difficult.

As he came even more closer and even touched the cold bars with his forehead, Hailee was starting to see something different in his gaze and this made her feel a little uneasy, however, she tried not to react in any way. His gaze grew more intense, he was looking at her like a predator examining its prey and there was still nothing she could do for now. Without flinching, she took another painful step forward, closing almost the last bit of distance between them and glared at him confidently. He wasn't going to kill her. He might try to hurt her, but she could endure quite some pain. So why should she be afraid? "I've piped your curiosity?", she repeated sarcastically, rolling her eyes. What could be so interesting about her? "I'm surely not the first Jedi you met. If your looking for some fun, go look somewhere else", she added fiercely, if not even a bit challenging. She was sure that his motifs were filthy and despicable but he could try anything on her and he wouldn't get what he wanted.

Ronan pulled back from the bars slightly and cocked his head. "You are not the first Jedi I have met. You're right. Why don't I just toss you out of this ship into space? Or I could choke you where you stand," he said, reaching out and stroking her cheek with the Force. "I'd watch what you say, love," he said, his smirk becoming less cocky and more dangerous. "In the meantime, why don't you tell me your name,"

As the man began talking again, Hailee realized that his tone was changing in a more dangerous direction. She wasn't so sure about her position because as he enlisted the possible ways of ending her life he seemed to be quite joyful about it. Yes, he could definitely kill her right here right know but to Hailee it seemed as though this guy liked to sadistically play with its prey, and even though she didn't want to offer him that satisfaction, she couldn't resist talking back. As he stroked her cheek with the Force she felt a weird, tingly sensation from the points where he touched her, and still she was trying not to flinch. Should she be careful now? Would he just hurt her just like that? "Do I really need to tell you my name when all you have to do is skimming through my mind once again?", she replied provocatively, her green eyes not leaving his dark hazel ones. While she said that, she prepared for his mind reading aim by trying to shut off her thoughts, even though she already knew that she would probably get overpowered again.

"What a good idea," Ronan said. He delved into her mind, and met resistance. "Interesting," he said. He pushed a little harder and he was in. "Mmm..." he murmured to himself. "Hailee Lightwood," he said softly, his voice like a caress. He could feel the lingering effects his Force-stroke had had on her. "Your parents sold you... to a crime boss. How depressing," he said. He couldn't help the pain that trickled into his voice. He knew what it was like to be abandoned, left alone.

The Padawan did not thought that he would actually possess the audacity to just directly say yes and do it, which was why she was a little startled and he had an easier way inside her mind. She tried to press against it, but since her head was already hurting, she staggered back a step and was left with that weird, vulnerable feeling. He didn't just look for her name but he also rummaged through her past and that was nothing she was happy about. Even though she was mentally over all the stuff that happened back in Corellia, she couldn't help but feel completely naked while this painful memory was brought back up one more time. For a second, she was the desperate, helpless child that endured so much while trying to survive all on her own once again, but then she clenched her fists. "Get out of my head!", she growled angrily, slightly irritated by the fact that this Sith Lord slightly changed the tone of his voice again. Interesting. It seemed to her that something inside his mind was being reactivated as well.

Ronan pulled out of her mind. "Of course, love," he said. He took a step back and watched her. She was... interesting to say the least. Truth be told, he didn't really have a good reason for keeping her here. He just knew he should do something with her, and gathering information seemed like a good enough excuse. There was only one problem- her bright green eyes seemed to bore into him, as if she could see right through him to all the pain he hid. Which of course she couldn't; even still he re-boostered his mental walls.
"My name is Ronan, scream if you need me," he said, before turning away and walking down the hall. It took all his effort not to look back.

Again, Hailee was completely surprised by his reaction and it didn't happen often that people surprised her, as she was normally quite good at reading people. He really didn't dig any further and the Padawan wondered whether he had all the information he needed or whether he was simply bored. He just couldn't have done it out of friendliness. Hailee took a deep breath and mentally prepared for another assault from his side, but I'd didn't come. Without another try he just left, but at least he was as kind as to let her know his name. Ronan. She considered this name for a while, but she couldn't actually remember anything relating to that name while she watched him leave. She hadn't heard it before, but it seemed to her that she was now stuck with him for a while. She slowly took another step back and then yet some more steps until herback was pressed against the cold wall, where she let herself slide down to the ground, shaking her head. How could she end up in a cell like that, basically being a prisoner yet again? It was a devastating thought, but it was not enough to keep her away from plotting her escape.

Ronan collapsed in the pilot's quarters, resting his head in his hands. What the hell had he gotten himself into? He recalled their fight. She had a feisty way about her, and she seemed determined to find a way to argue with every word he said. She probably thought he was a monster, and for good reason. He hadn't exactly been friendly. What else was he supposed to do? There was no way to recover from this. Did he even want to? He massaged his temples. He could still feel her fiery spirit through the Force. There would be no breaking her, and even if he managed to do it, it wouldn't be worth the effort. Hailee. He said it to himself, and there was a way it rolled off his tongue that made him wonder why he even took her captive. Why couldn't he just kill her?

He suddenly stood up, and walked back down the hall to Hailee's cell. He stopped in front of the bars, looking at her sitting on the ground. "I took you captive rather than kill you because you didn't deserve to die yet. You had done nothing wrong to me, and I'd hate to win an unfair fight, its not good for my ego,"

When he had left she felt a strange emptiness and a cold sensation flood the small prison cell again. Where had she gotten herself into? For now, she was stuck here...why couldn't she just run the moment she saw him and felt his immense presence within the Force surrounding her? She buried her face inside her palms for a moment and let out and exhausted sigh. What was she supposed to do now? Try to argue with him, maybe even in a more friendly way? Before she could contemplate further, she heard approaching footsteps again. His footsteps from the sound of it. She swallowed hard and forced herself to breathe one more time, before his figure reappeared in front of her cell. She opened her mouth, wanting to fire something at him, but he started first and what he said surprised her all anew. Why did he explain his motifs to her now? She wasn't so sure about his intentions and this uncertainty made her feel uneasy again. Was he trying to make her understand why he did it? She slightly tilted her head to the side, realizing that his last sentence could also be understood as a thread. She closed her mouth again and considered his statement for a moment, before she cleared her throat. "Then where are you taking me now?", she demanded, not as fierce as before, but rather with a slight hint of desperation and confusion in her voice.

Ronan detected confusion in her voice. "I'm not taking you anywhere at the moment, this dungeon ship is just floating through space." He paused, considering her. "You're hurt," he said finally, noting the way she favored parts of her body. Suddenly an unwanted memory flashed through his head.

Ronan cowered in the corner as he felt something like the weight of the entire galaxy press on his shoulders. Blood leaked out of his nose and his head pounded. Even at six, he was remarkably fierce and his injuries from the fight were minimal. He closed his eyes, letting the galaxy weigh down on him. Perhaps if he hadn't been born on Moraband his story would have been different.

The weight grew heavier.

Just floating through space...great. So even if she would manage to break out of her cell, there was no quick escape. But why would he keep here instead of on his own ship? He probably had a own ship, at least so Hailee thought. As he considered her again he suddenly mentioned her slight injuries, but once again, she didn't react. This time the difference was, however, that he seemed to be distracted by something going on in his mind so that Hailee became curious herself. She sneaked back into his well -protected mind but she could only grasp the slightest hint of his remembrance. This man also went through a lot. Their childhoods seemed to be somehow alike and this made Hailee suddenly feel a weird sense of a connection. This man, who was still nothing more than a stranger named 'Ronan to her, evoked the slightest feeling of belonging, which she couldn't quite process at the moment. She tried to stay calm, even though she was starting to become a little nervous. "Not badly", she simply replied truthfully, not quite sure whether he actually cared. " Could you bring me something to drink?", she then asked hopefully, but not so sure whether he would be that gracious.
