STRENGTH: Pyotr regularly exercises, but primarily for calisthenic purposes. He has decent body strength, but nothing overly impressive.

INTELLIGENCE: Pyotr possesses a quick and keen mind, to which patterns come very easily. This is his best attribute, and makes his mastery of galactic languages and security coding very possible
WISDOM: Pyotr has lived a rather sheltered life, but intense study and frequent interactions with foreigners while working for the Republic have made him sensible and cultured.
CHARISMA: With the mastery of language comes the mastery of communications. Pyotr is a skilled orator and linguist, and has mastered many galactic accents.
SKILLS:
Pyotr is a linguistics expert. He has vast knowledge of galactic language, but also of etymology, how certain languages work. Because there are simply so many languages, he has also worked to create numerous translation software programs that can both translate known languages and work to identify patterns in unknown dialects. Though these can be helpful in the research process, an intelligent mind is inevitably needed to make sense of the findings.
Pyotr is also gifted with computers. The language of electronics is in truth little different than the language of organics, because information must pass between them constantly. He has worked with the Republic to create new and improved encryption software, and has been asked on occasion to help decode intercepted cyphers.
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Pyotr tends to trust his own judgement above any one else's. This has worked fine as a private liaison for the Republic, but when he applied to work within their ranks he found the lack of control frustrating. Even with those who are his superior officers, he takes almost nothing on faith, spending numerous hours cross-referencing briefing materials.
GEAR:
Pyotr is licensed to carry a blaster pistol that he usually keeps on his left hip. He also carries a datapad with him at all times.
SHIP:
Pyotr works with any ship the Republic puts him on or lends him for operational use. To this point he does not have one assigned to him personally.
PERSONALITY:
Pyotr is an academic at heart, with a strong will to help people. From a young age he would spend hours talking to strangers, thrilled when he got the opportunity to practice a language he was studying. Unlike many professors and students of language Pyotr preferred field research to standard learning methods, but his love for learning was never quenchable. He gets a certain thrill when presented with a puzzle, and harbors a modest pride when a code crumbles before his mind.
Pyotr is pleasant, as was required of him by many of his jobs. Personal interpretation paid well, but it often became too boring for him. He requires new stimuli, new situations and new puzzles to keep his mind occupied. He analyzes all the happens around him. He hears the chordal progressions in music rather than simply the aesthetic beauty of it, but this doesn't diminish his appreciation for such arts. Perhaps he is over-analytical within his own mind, but he maintains a pleasant, sociable demeanor.
HISTORY:
Pyotr was born to a middle-class Coruscanti family. His father was a cook and co-owner of a multi-ethnic catering company near 500 Republica. As soon as he was able he started working in the business. Being around so many foreign guests and dignitaries sparked his interest in their languages. He would often linger about the clients while he worked, trying to do his job just a bit slower so he could pick up on what they might be saying. One day his father found him speaking with a group of Twi'lek in their native tongue, and asked him how he learned to do such a thing. Pyotr shrugged and simply replied, "I listened."
Seeing his obvious talent, his father arranged for him to be tested by Republic specialists. His aptitude was recognized, and he was put through a prestigious school on the Republic's bill. There he studied linguistics, computer coding, and was given rudimentary military training. Having finished school, the Republic assigned him to the corps of diplomats as a translator, mediator and negotiator. The military training ended up being obsolete, but he made regular visits to the training facilities to sharpen his skills. He would be under the Republic's vague contract for twenty five years of his life, so he felt it best he be prepared.
