"He went that way! Authorities! That way!" A man yelled from in the middle of a crowd. The streets of Mos Eisley had seen a cruel assault on one woman by a group of men. Only one of them actually hit her and put her in her current state, but the rest had rifles trained on any who tried to make any step towards them. When he was finished, the riflemen dispersed while the attacker took off into the distance. Authorities arrived only just too late.

Tessy happened to be one of those standing in the crowd. While she hadn't seen the fight take place, she was there to witness the aftermath. "So some nerf-herder just up and beat the shit out of a girl?" Tessy asked one of the other pedestrians.

"Yeah. She looks almost dead... That prick roughed her up pretty good," the man responded. Obviously, ****-head, she thought to herself as she pushed her way through the crowd towards the bruised lady.

"Ma'am, we can't allow anyone else to enter this area," said one of the cops, pointing at holographic yellow tape that created an invisible barrier between them. "We'll handle everything from here. Unless you're family, which I don't see how a pure shistavanen would be related in any way to a pure-bred human, you have to remain safely away. So please, move along."

"Sure, ****in' prick," she growled to herself as she turned and walked back into the crowd. She wanted to actually do something about these random attacks. They had been more and more frequent around the port, and the place had come to be a home to her. But such was her days as of late. Each chance to do something at least some-what important or good was always just out of reach. It made it hard for her to feel concern for others.

A commotion down the street had caught my attention. With my ship stolen I figured that these people could only bring my closer to finding that damned Dug. People moved out of my way, clearing a path as I approached the holographic police line. There's a certain psychological effect that proceeds the armor, no matter how custom. As I approached the line an officer put up his hand to stop me. Before the words could leave his mouth I cut him off, "who are they and where did they go?" "Who the frak are you?" "The guy that can fix your problem and apprehend the assailants... Or kill them. Either way, their off the streets without any collateral."

I honestly had no time for this man. I read him like a book, he wasn't going to give me what I needed. At the same time another officer had sent another person away and she didn't exactly seem thrilled about it either. People wouldn't talk in front of authorities but she might. "Sir, I'm afraid I-" "You should be, your letting an armed gang get away," I interrupted him as I moved over towards the dismissed Shistevanen. "Ma'am," I asked as I approached from behind her, placing my hand on her shoulder to get her attention.
My character has been having a big adventure through all these Mos Eisly RPs. At this time, his ship has been stolen and he has deduced that a friend of his has been missing for months and is probably dead. Feel free to hit him, as he is approaching from behind, he won't be expecting it or defend himself but he is wearing full armor so just keep that in mind. Game on!

Mos Eisley, hasn't changed and Nathan assumed it never would. Currently Nathan could be seen chatting with the athorities, rifle hanging from his shoulder and his arm resting upon the sights. His yellow and black armor gleamed brightly in the sunlight, a stark contrast to the men around him. Unlike the rest of the people around the scene he was the one who was approached by the authorities.

"How have you been Aoki? It's been a long time."

Nathan shrugged, his voice coming through his suits comms in a metallic fashion, "been better, mercenary work has been fruitful every once in a while." He gestured to the scene, "need any help? I'm not a fan of lady killers, it'll be free."

The man sighed rubbing the back of his neck, "this mess... Half the men I work with never even held a rifle, can't get anything done because they're all cowards. They think there will be hell to pay if they do anything about these guys." He let out a deep breath and continued, "if you wanna find them and deal with them be my guest. Just don't drag me into it, people already don't like me around here... There's a small warehouse near the edge of town that these guys like to hang out, might find em there. I didn't tell you though."

With that, Nathan Aokie gave his old friend a nod and began taking his leave from the area. He wasn't some hero but he had a weak spot for women in trouble. These guys would pay for this.

Tara had been wondering out of a near by cantina. Not that she was all that fond of them, but this was Mos Eisley, where she was pretty sure they out numbered any other form of business five to one. Despite where she had just exited she was remarkably sober, Tara made it a policy to not drink anything in one she didn't trust which would cover the whole of the dust bowl of a planet on which she currently found herself.

In any case a crowd just up a head of her got her attention. Upon closer inspection she decided it wasn't so much a crowd as a small group of people sort of milling about. On this planet that was enough to get her attention and against her better judgement she made her way towards the group. She arrived in time to hear the last part of the conversation.

"So some one beat on some one?" She asked the crowd in general. "Isn't fairly common around here? With the blaster and aiming." She made sure she was still armed, running a hand on her jacket, although nothing was visible, no need to appear like a threat by mistake.

She appeared over people's shoulders in order to get a better view of what might be going on. She was still wondering what caused people to suddenly stop and take notice about this attack in particular. She side stepped a little to make room for other people and studied the scene as best she could with out being to obvious about it. Her curiosity was now up.

Her tail stiffened almost as fast as her back once the cold, metallic hand grabbed her shoulder. She couldn't help but let out a high-pitched yelp from how badly she was startled. She turned, looking to see who interrupted her small venture, and settled her eyes on a young man with a full set of armor on. He looked as though he'd been there for a very long time.

"Can I help you?" She asked politely, keeping her eyes drifting around the crowd just in case any more attackers appear. "If you're asking about what happened there, a lady was attacked and I have full intentions of going after the attacker," she admitted. The crowd, much to her dismay, happened to hear her when she was trying to speak over them. There was silence. She was thankful for her shiny coat of fur that could hide her blushing, but she didn't show any embarassment from her face.

"Okay, so apparently it's taboo to go and defend women?" She asked, trying to break the awkward silence.

"No, but no one challenges the Tetrikima Gang so openly. Especially not a woman. Not with a sex trafficking business like what they have," someone from the crowd revealed. Great. So if I **** up, I get to be their fuzzy little whore, she thought to herself.

"So? I'm sure there's others here who would be willing to take care of them, right?" She asked. Almost like a cartoon, everyone in the crowd save for a few people backed away from her, giving her at least a ten-foot radius. "...Assholes..." She muttered under her breath.

"Sorry I didn't mean to startle you. I too fully intend to find this gang and wipe them out, something clan Orar enjoys greatly. The authorities are keeping their mouths closed. I need information about them," I said quietly, "I don't do collateral and I can make it look like a complete accident if needed. I just need names and places. If needed I can call for backup but those guys aren't very subtle and I'd prefer to leave them in their cage." I finished the statement with a slightly awkward chuckle, "could you help me find them... Or I suppose let me help you?"

It appeared as though a person, a Shistivanen, had unintentionally become the focus of the small gathering of people. While normally he would stop and join in the gawking but he now had some work to do. Instead, he had to push through the crowd, he obviously looked as though he had somewhere to be. Then the Shistivanen spoke out, "So? I'm sure there's others here who would be willing to take care of them, right?" It caused him slight pause, turning to look at the woman briefly. He quickly dismissed the thought of responding, if any of the gang were actually still around they would have an eye on her and anyone she came across.

Nathan continued making his way through and out of the crowd. It was time to get to work, as long as he wasn't stopped, he would find his way to the Tetrikima gang.

(OOC: If no one stops him to ask questions or something, Nathan will show up later when the Tetrikima come up.)

"Oh horray sex trafficking." There was no real way to make that sound fun, not at least if you happened to be female. She was sure there was a market for it around here, if not on the planet , near by systems as well. People around here never really bothered to question the morality of slavery, and while she too had grown up around the practice, she had no desire to be one herself. More so she very little desire to end up in possession of some one who specialized in sex slaves.

She heard a near by statement. "You know, I think the sudden deaths of a whole group of people slave traders or no would not be viewed as an accident, even on this lovely dust bowl." Which was true, of course it was also very likely true they were connected else where and making them angry might bring people with better weaponry upon who ever they decided off'd their friends. She pondered the situation for a moment and was fairly sure there was at least one slug connection in all of this. She eyed the crowd for a moment and decided not to bring up that point, not until she was sure there wasn't cartel member with in hearing range.

She was also aware that the crowd had suddenly backed off, this was turning awkward. "You do know where you are right?" She questioned the volunteer. "We are not exactly standing in the land of good feelings and hugs." She did a quick check to make sure no one was randomly wondering off after the answer, chances were they'd be going home. But, she was also aware of how hard it could be to get credits in the outer rim and people who would not question working for slavers if that meant they got to eat that week.

"I know exactly where I am. And I'm sure none of these goons will follow. If you're with me, then come on," she said, unable to take anymore staring it made her feel awkward. As soon as she started to move through the crowd, it dispersed. Everyone had lost interest. She happened to notice someone else, though. Someone who looked as though they could help... For a price.

"Hey," she said as she caught up to him. She noticed his heavy armor, how thick it looked. "Would you by chance be interested in helping me take on this gang?" She asked.

(She's talking to Nathan.)

While my new companion was chasing down an armored man I began scanning the crowd for anything familiar and found it. It was the very same dug that helped steal my ship. I drew my S-5 officer pistol and attached a small tracker to its ascension launcher. It took about six minutes for a clean shot, I covertly fired the cold launched dart and embedded the device in his back. One man saw and froze. I holstered the blaster and assured him, "don't worry, I wouldn't waste my ammo on you."
From there I made my way over to Tessy and the soldier.

Nathan turned to face the woman, giving her a quick glance up and down. She was a tiny thing, cute even but the shistivanen didn't appear accustomed to this kind of work. He answered her, "I don't think its something a young, pretty little fox like you should get involved in... considering the gang's habbits." He paused for a moment letting the statement sink in, but he couldn't seem to turn away a woman in need. He sighed, cursing himself for his weakness, "I'm on my way to deal with them already." He didn't want to get anyone involved, more people meant more responsibility, and that was something Nathan did not want.

Tara suddenly realized the crowd had left. Not that she was shocked, it was Tatooine and not known for the good will of its people. Still, she wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea of a sex-slave ring of all things operating in her general area. Not that she was arrogant to assume that they would bother with her, or maybe she was. Whatever her reasoning. She trailed behind Ma'saan.

Not that she had on armor, nor did she particularly like armor. She tended to find it a bit unwieldy, and would much rather risk life with out it. Despite the risks of stabbing or the like. She still had no idea what plan this was turning out to be and not being from the dust bowl herself she really had no idea where to even look, although she was certain that a group like that would be relatively easy to find, well if you knew the right people. Which of course would take time. Not that she was sure there was a whole lot of that.

She assumed there was a plan, however so she got with in ear shot and waited for some one more informed than herself to come up with something. Or that was the plan, she hopped some one had an idea.
