(This is a social thread to have my Jedi meet others on Arbra)
After getting a yellow training saber, Firion was sitting in a garden at the enclave. He was a little tired but still excited. Firion loved the little garden, it reminded him of his home on Naboo. Climbing the tree there, he leaned back against the trunk and closed his eyes.

Firion was still a little upset about having to leave his father. He didn't even have a droid or pet to keep him company. He breathed in the smell of the trees and flowers, it always calmed him down. Firion occasionally looked around, from his seat in the branches, at the other Jedi walking around.

"Nice to see I'm not the only one likes this tree," Cotan called up to the youngling sitting up in the tree above him, while thinking about who it was. Amaran, the boy looked like, though different than usual...but Cotan had almost no memory of him, none at all. New guy, most likely. "Though I much prefer sitting underneath it, rather than up in it. Having fun up there?"

Firion looked down when another Jedi called out to him. He laid down on the branch, looking at the person.

"I feel more comfortable in the branches."

The young Amaran watched as a bird flew into the tree. It landed in it's nest a couple of branches above Firion. He leaned back and watched the bird as it took care of it's young. That just made him miss his father even more.

"Fair enough," Cotan replied, raising an eyebrow at the youngling sitting above him. He spoke like he was from Naboo - Cotan's home planet, as well. Jumping, the Padawan grabbed onto a branch next to the one that the young Amaran was sitting on, swinging up to sit upon it.

"So, where're you from?"

Firion looked at the other padawan as he started talking. He watched as the other guy climbed into the tree. He looked curiously at the other when he asked where Firion was from.

"I'm from Naboo"

He leaned back up against the tree, listening to the wind blow through the leaves. He breathed deeply and sighed. He wondered why he had to leave his father behind.

"So am I," Cotan replied, smiling. "I recognized the accent, though I've been gone long enough that I might not speak that way anymore." The Padawan turned, looking out over the rest of the grounds nearby - and the large number of trees that were about, just outside the garden's bounds. One of the fun things about Arbra - if you get tired of getting lost in the caves, you can go get lost in the trees.

"So, how long have you been here?"

Kiara was walking enjoying the fresh air. She had Gambit her droid with her strolling along side by side. She thought it would be nice to sit under a tree and allow the shade cover her from the blaring sun. She found a tree and sat under it. Little did she know that there were two people above her. She heard a sound of a branch bending and she looked up. There to her surprise were a youngling that looked like an Amaran and the other was a male human close to her age. "Hello there, I didn't expect to see anyone up there. My name is Kiara Sunquest. And you are?" She said to both of them politely.

"I've only been here for a day."

Firion breathed in the fresh air, the caverns were too stuffy and he didn't like the smell all that much. Firion was content in the branches. Staring at the sky, Firion watched as ships arrived and left the planet. Looking down when another padawan asked a question, Firion stared down at her.

"Firion Jilara."

He laid down on his stomach and looked down at Kiara.

Kiara giggled a bit on how Firion looked. She thought he was a cute little boy. She looked up at them hanging in the tree and said "This is Gambit by the way." She motioned to her astromech droid. He gave a few beeps and whistles to acknowledge them. "That looks like a lot of fun got room for one more?"

Orlaan watched the Padawans - for they would be if they had time to laze around on Arba - converse and couldn't keep himself from smiling and letting a soft chuckle escape him. His hair was as long as ever and tousled slightly from the gentle breeze, but his beard had been shaved down to a close cropped stubble, taking away his rugged edge and allowing his handsome and kind face to shine through; his scared tissue almost invisible now. A rush of emotion overcame Orlaan; this was why they were fighting, so that kids, even Jedi kids, could hang around in the sun outside and chat without having to worry about Sith or Hutt's or war. There would always be discipline, and the Force, but having the ability to fight and needing to use it were two different things.

Even the fact that the Jedi Order had survived and had started to recoup new members after the purge cheered him up; and why not? It was a glorious day, and he had his meeting with Ebberla scheduled for the same evening, things looked great. Not to mention he had finely had a change for some rest and a change to clean himself up for once. Ghess flattened his fresh set of tan and brown robes against his chest before approaching the Padawan's, one little boy and a man and a women a little younger - and likely far less experienced - than he was.

"Greetings all!" He called out in his booming voice, realizing he probably sounded like a dork even as his words was shattering the quietened air around him of the still summer's afternoon, but not the peace inside. "Enjoying the weather, I see! Why so down, little man?" He called up to the tiny little Amaran pup sitting in the tree, it's vulpine face visibly grumpy even through it's fair. The adorable thing looked like a little boy in Orlaan's opinion, legs kicking behind him as he lay on his belly; standing, Ghess was about the same height as the two where up the tree, look the little one dead in the eye at head height.

Yin made his way through the enclave. He was relatively new here and didn't have many friends, if any. At the moment he was bored and looking for something to do. After walking around for a while Yin found himself at the gardens. Yin walked around the garden looking for a place to just relax. It was then he noticed several people gathered around a tree. He wondered if they had gathered for some specific reason or if it had been a coincidence.

Sitting down on a stone bench near said tree Yin watched the people. Though he made sure not to do so too intently, that would be kinda creepy. Yin smiled softly upon seeing his fellow Jedi laugh. It always made him happy to see people smiling, laughing, and just being generally happy.

The place where they were was starting to get a bit crowded. Kiara smiled and said "Hello." to the two newcomers. One was a knight if Kiara was not mistaken. She brushed some leaves off her as she looked at the Jedi Knight. The other newcomer was on a bench. Kiara smiled toward him so he didn't feel all alone. She knew how that felt for life for her was a bit lonely. Kiara didn't want to think about that cause it would only bring her down. She was having fun and meeting new people.

It was weird to be having fun even though there was a war going on. She only just found the Jedi, which wasn't easy to do. She was glad to be with them and hoped that her career as a Jedi was successful. There was so much to learn. She hoped she would get a master soon but that would come in due time. She was happy at this moment and nothing could change that.

Firion tilted his head a little when Kiara giggled. He wondered if it had anything to do with his looks. He nodded in answer to her question. Firion was enjoying this, he needed this. He jumped a little when he heard a booming voice say "Greetings all!".

He looked at the knight, though that was only a guess. Firion looked at him curiously, until he asked why Firion was down.

"I miss my father and I was feeling lonely."

Firion picked up a leaf that had floated in front of his face and began twirling it around. The leaf was still green and Firion felt a little calmer from the rich smell of the area.

Orlaan frowned as he rested an elbow against the branch the others had need to jump to, smiling warmly at the young boy; who he had now identified as male indeed. "I lost my Dad when I was around your age. What happened to your pa, kid?" He cast a glance round at the other smiling faces and returned their grins, it had been a long time since he had the chance to just get to know members of the Order; in fact, it had been almost fifteen years since he had the luxury.

"Don't let yourself get down, we have all had to move on from our past lives. Whether you have lost your father or you are simply separated, you will grow to have family here just as you have done where you came from. And always remember, you are fighting and teaching others to create a galaxy where people like fathers, mother and families can live better lives. Don't ever let yourself despair, little one."

Orlaan offered his over-sized hand, bigger than a catching-mit, to the little vulpine boy, before extending the courtesy to everyone one else present; including the new comer. "I am Jedi Knight Orlaan Ghess, a pleasure." He spoke up with a wide, roguish grin and a flash of his white teeth.

Kiara listened to what the young boy was saying. She completely understood how he felt. Kiara had lost her father at age five. If it hadn't been for her dad's friend Maks She would have grown up alone. Though Maks was busy alot, she had Gambit her astromech droid to keep her company. That was a blessing in itself.

The knight introduced himself as he offered his hand to them. "I'm Kiara Sunquest." she said as she took Orlaan's hand and jumped down to the ground. She looked at Firion and said "I lost my parents when I was young. It was really hard. I sometimes think about my dad and mom from time to time. I always wonder if I am making them proud."

She had a tear run down her soft cheek and she quickly wiped it away. She hoped no one saw for she didn't want to look weak or pathetic in front of them.

Yin nodded back at the woman who had smiled at him. "Hello" Yin said smiling. It was nice to talk to people. It was a refreshing change of pace from all the events taking place outside the hallowed halls.

Yin took a closer look at the people who had gathered. An Amaran, a Sephi, two humans, and himself. It was quite a diverse group. It was a nice change of pace. Yin's attention was brought to one of the humans and the Amaran as they spoke. It seemed as though he had lost his father, a shame for someone that young.

Thinking about it Yin thought it would be nice to learn the names of the people he met. Right after thinking that Yin heard two people introduce themselves. What a funny coincidence. "Hello. My name is Yin. Padawan. It's a pleasure to meet you" Yin said politely.

Yin thought for a moment about how everyone was sharing about their families. He thought about sharing but there wasn't much to say. Yin had never met his father, his mother was still alive, and his brother was alive though where he was or what he was doing was unknown. In the end Yin decided to stay quiet for now.

Firion stared back at the knight, he felt slightly more at ease seeing him smile. "I had to leave my foster dad behind on Naboo. What happened to my actual father, I don't know.", Firion answered. He listened intently to what the knight said afterwards. He never thought of it that way. He cheered up a little more. When the knight offered his large hand up to him, Firion shook it. "I'm Firion Jilara.", he told Orlaan after hearing his name.

Firion then listened to Kiara when she started talking. He looked down at her as she was talking. He noticed a tear slide down her face, to be quickly wiped away. Firion was feeling a little better, though he wondered what his dad was doing right now.

"And I'm Cotan Sar'andor, though nobody seemed to ask me specifically," the rather unnoticed Padawan sitting up in the tree said with a smirk. "Nice to meet all of you, who I haven't I already met - which would likely be all of you. I hope none of you take offense if I ask you not to get in the tree - it's cramped up here as it is, what with all these small branches poking me every time I try to move, and I doubt the tree could hold all of us." That said, Cotan turned to the small Amaran - Firion - who was next to him.

"Care if the two of us hop down, so everybody's on a relatively equal level?"

Akiva needed to take a walk and center himself. He still wasn't so comfortable within this new Jedi Order. After the Battle of Corsucant, Akiva took to himself for some time during all of the in-fighting. He had just started to get himself comfortable again, even being accepted by Jedi Knight Xaliv Wyn as his padawan. Things had been getting better but it still didn't change the fact that most of Akiva's friends from his time at the Temple on Corsucant had either fallen in battle or fell to the dark side of the force and for all intent purposes, Akiva felt like the new kid all over again which made him feel uncomfortable.

Akiva liked to go to one particular tree and and meditate from time to time. What he didn't realize that so many other people liked to hang out at that particular tree as well. When Akiva got close enough to see the crowd, he removed the hood from his jedi robes and smiled at the other padawans that were already hanging out on the tree. "Hello there", Akiva said with a smile. "It's a great day to hang out and relax. My name is Akiva."

Kiara was surprised when a voice rang out announcing he was up in the tree. Kiara looked up at the young man who spoke. He introduced himself as Cotan. She couldn't believe that he was way up there, she didn't even see him. From the looks of it the others didn't either. She greeted him with a smile. Just when she thought there couldn't possibly any more people coming another young man came walking up.

Kiara looked in to his blue eyes and started to blush a little. He looked like a prince to her. He was very polite as he introduced himself. Apparently he also liked this tree. "This sure is a popular spot." she laughed as she said it. "It's good to meet new people and all of you seem so kind." She knew that she found her place. Even Gambit her astromech droid was having fun. His beeps and toots were going off every time someone new arrived. Kiara patted the droid gesturing to settle down.
