When Kalique had authorized Squire Roman's Kallo mission with the Senator of Centares, she had have mixed feelings about it. Roman was a senior Squire, yet he was a Squire still and sending Squires on missions alone was always risky, yet she had decided to place her trust in him and as the reports of the successful mission had come back, she had been relieved at first.

However, she had soon noted that the Squire kept spending time with the Senator and as if that wasn't problematic just like that, things had gotten worse quickly. Obviously, Squires were monitored even more closely by ISB and since her close connections to Overseer Delevigne, she had soon learned the shocking truth about the unprofessional and highly problematic encounters between her Squire and Xylan.

As Guinevere had worked with the senator himself, she had gathered even more Intel which was why after their time in Zeltros, the case was more clear. Kalique's anger was hard to keep at bay because she didn't even want to imagine what had driven the senator to do it, and he would have received the official summons to Raxus right after.

She waited for him in a chamber, pacing at first and forcing herself to take some deep breaths before she took a seat upon knowing he was about to arrive. He'd be led towards her, accompanied by guards and Zanah would have to wait outside, regardless of how she'd disagree. The senator would found Kalique sitting at a table, her face hard to read but the tension inside the room obvious.

[Xylan Shrialla]

Xylan didn’t react when he was escorted to the headquarters of the Imperial Knights, without muttering any complaint. He knew exactly why it was going to happen. He had committed a critical error, one that perhaps not even an amateaur would have committed. The Senator got carried away by his feelings in Zeltros and was now going to pay a price.

Zanah had followed him faithfully until they reached the door. She wasn’t allowed to enter, but it was the best. He needed to face it alone. It was his fault that this situation happened. He ignored the complications that his little play in Zeltros had caused. He didn’t regret what happened, though. Only regretted having been too bold.

Inside the room was Kalique, the woman was in silence. She probably was furious, after all Roman was the Squire under her command. The Knight probably thought that he was desvirtuating the other man. This thought made him feel dirty.

He sat in the chair in front of her, with a serious face equal to her own. He could start to fake crying, saying that Roman had seduced him. It would be the clever way, the politician way. However, he would not do it. The Tionese would never do it. The Squire was a wonderful young man, who had made him feel free for the first time in years.

Roman deserved to fly and soar toward a bright future, even if Xylan crashed down and burned for it to happen.

"I accept any punishment, but I hope that Squire Kallo isn’t. He don’t deserve it." he said, while bracing himself for what was going to happen. Xylan only hoped that the other would be well.
