Because of recent, and long ongoing issues with the availability of certain individuals at important times, and the lack of warning before to allow for swift replacement, several high positions in the republic have been vacated and position holder notified.
Because of this it is expected of them to set an example to rest of the community. Should one need to leave for any period of time, it is necessary to let the FL, or the faction itself know. Yes things can happen suddenly in rl, however it's not unreasonable after a few days, or a week to take the 30 seconds or so to tell “ someone” what is going on rather than leaving everyone to guess.
This has been a reoccurring issue in the factions “ republic most notably”. For the better of the site as a whole, this needs to stop. While there is no pride, or joy in doing this, it is at this point that the general consensus is that numerous examples of this initial problem have plagued the factions abilities and duties. Several attempts have been made, and mentioned to correct this, and warning of future problems should it continue, and have failed to get results. Thus corrective measures MUST be taken.
That said The Republic is currently seeking two positions at the moment:
High Admiral
High General ( SOLAG )
with additional openings in the Senate guard
those interested in said positions may apply the character, please note however that current rank can be a factor. ( ie no private will jump to a high admiral )
Those with experience of equal standing in other factions or at other times may feel free to create a character to apply ( I also stress that just because these two are currently open, does NOT mean they are the only two to be filled.
also while boli is out ( he's having several issues but is aware of everything going on and is updating his situations, ) Xeno's high general will be filling in as deputy secretary for the time being.
