The Colonel shook her head. The Battalion doesn't have any slicers, but we have sappers. They can blow their way through the doors, but it's not exactly quiet. Speed and overwhelming force will be your best allies, she said.

We'll make due, Arla said with a nod. We'll take the sappers then and a small group of Kaleesh for the flank, she said, glancing back to see that the first of the Kaleesh were landing.

Excellent, she thought to herself.

The others can join your assault, she said.

The forces organized, and when it was all said and done, Celeste, Arla, two IAC demolition specialists, and a dozen of the best warriors from the three tribes were assembled and ready for the flanking assault.

How do you feel about taking the front? she asked Celeste. Although Arla could and would do it, Celeste was a better person to deflect fire than Arla seeing as she actually used a lightsaber. From the rear, Arla could be the magick-based artillery for the rest of the team.

Celeste pondered on the Colonel's words for a moment, wondering whether it made a difference, but after all, it seemed like they'd be fine, as the battle was raging anyway. "Sapper it is" she confirmed curtly, not minding to storm in rather aggressively then.

They all knew they were coming anyway. They'd loose the moment of surprise if they couldn't sneak in, but this meant they could then take them by storm. One way or another, the last wall of resitance would fall.

The Kaleesh finally landed and the Anzati were already set, so a little elite team with a wild mixture of warriors assembled before they were ready to go. The two women took the lead for now, getting closer to the mountain base when Arla adressed her again.

She studied her for a moment, contemplating for a moment as the front was surely not the best position to take, but from a tactical perspective, it made sense. She had her armor and her lightsaber and Arla could unleash a literal storm from behind.

"Yes. I can do that. I'll keep the fire away from you" she finally answered, a faint smile displayed on her lips. Arla needed her concentration, Celeste would shield her. She wasn't super pleased, but she'd take the risk. They needed to unlock the doors and end this. The demolition specialists would breach their first wall and they'd storm in. Celeste was ready. Celeste had led assaults like that before, yet she didn't like that they had no idea what was waiting inside.

The forward scouts gave them the route through the tunnel and the sappers were at the front of the group as they came to the "back door." The Kaleesh warriors made quick work of the few guards outside, and Arla watched the soldiers set charges on the door, counting down as Arla stuck her fingers in her ears.

The detonation was enough to shake all of the Nightsisters innards anyway as the door blew inward, a specialized charge that blasted in not out. The unlucky guards on the other side of the door didn't know what had hit them, and one was dead before they ever came through with the other writhing on the ground soon to join him in death.

The squad rushed the entrance, clearing their way through as they came out into one of the rear security rooms. Blasters came up and the TSF troopers began to open fire on the squad, cutting down one of the Kaleesh as he advanced.

At one side of the room Celeste would see a trio of guards scrambling for guns and to raise the alarm. Meanwhile at the other side of the room, Arla raised her hand and flame shot out of it, engulfing two more men as they ran for the door.

The air was thick with smoke and blaster bolts, the scents of carbon scoring and charred flesh were almost nauseating, but everyone within the Imperial ranks held firm, pressing on to conquer their objectives.

Making their way towards the back door wasn't too difficult as the forces seemed to be concentrated elsewhere, but as the demolition team got in position, Celeste's lightsaber already hissed into life.

She was careful not to get hit by the outskirts of the explosion, but the specialists did a great job in directing the explosion inwards anyway. Yet, the shockwave was impressive, rocking her from the inside, but as soon as the debris settled, she rushed in, clearing the entrance by redirecting blasted bolts and hurling shooters through the air with the Force.

At one point, when she was busy ensuring a Kaleesh wasn't hit by a red blaster bolt by stopping the shot mid-air, she herself was grazed, causing her to let out a furious growl before she dashed towards the shooter and press on afterwards.

Rounding the corner, the guards scrambling for guns on their right didn't manage to pull the trigger before Celeste unleashed a Force lightning in their direction fueled by her rage and the pain, immediately causing their muscles to spasm and drop to the ground. In order to avoid too much strain, just a few seconds were enough to incapacitate them immediately and give the others time to kill them while Celeste was already rushing over to Arla, ignited lightsaber still in her right hand.

Their elite team was unrelentless in their pursuits and fought their way forward. There was another loss, this time one of the Anzati while the deaths Celeste caused only fueled her further from the inside. She kept keeping an eye on Arla, protecting the Nightsister while she wrecked havoc on the remaining soldiers.

Death had come to the compound through the back door, and the team made quick work of their opponents. While there was resistance on the way to the gate controls, it was limited. Flashes of green magick crossed with blasts of orange from blasters and red from a lightsaber as they carved their way through.

The moment the gates were opened, it was over. The Imperial forces flooded inside and crushed what remained of the TSF troopers until they surrendered. Their only real path to victory had been through their defensive fortifications, and without it they were no match for the power the Sith Empire had brought to bear.

It was brief and it was violent, but it was finished, and Telos belonged to the Empire.
