"At least I got a strong Sith by my side if anything goes wrong, am I right?" Luci half-jokingly said, somewhat trying to reassure herself and make the best of the situation as they began to step through the mouth of the cave. She glanced over to Nova, keeping the lady's hands at the edge of her sight just in case she tried to draw her saber.

"It's not like anything the two of us can't handle is gonna sneak up on us--" She suddenly stopped upon feeling something slop down onto her shoulder. Luci's head trembled as she turned it to see a big orange tentacle coiling around her. "EHH?!"

A moment later she was airborne, hoisted up by another pair of tendrils that tightened around her arms and squeezed them to her back. The floating helio above her continued to lazily drift over the cave, reaching down towards Nova with most of its other remaining tentacles to ensnare her as well. Luci kicked and squirmed, reaching for her blaster pistol only to find her thin arms unable to overpower the Helio's flexible appendages.

"AHHH!!! NOVAAA!!! HELLL--" Her cries for help were silenced as another tendril curled up through the air and suddenly wrapped around her neck. She struggled and glanced over with wide eyes at the Sith lady, hoping she wouldn't just let her be carried away by the big floating brain-looking thing.

[Nova Trent]

Nova's hand never left the lightsaber's hilt while she kept walking next to the silver haired halfbred with the horns. She still wasn't sure whether talking a look and leaving the entrance was a good idea, but the girl was at least right with one thing: As stupid as leaving the entrance was, they rather dealt with whatever was outside there now before it kept lurking in the shadows to attack them in an inattentive moment. The best defense had always been offense after all...

As Luci suddenly let out this comment, Nova almost started choking. What had the other woman just said?! Had she just tried to be cheeky? Potentially even flirty? Or was she obviously taunting her? She stared at her with blunt confusion for a few seconds before a scoff followed. She then started chuckling a bit, sarcastically replying "Yeah...of course I'll have to look after your ass". No...she was not being mean, but she was obviously teasing. She was not going to hurt her yet, because she respected Cheriss and they were actually focused on something war for important than kicking a weak Jedi's ass.

However her sarcastic remark almost immediately turned out to turn into reality as the Jedi was grabbed my a huge tentacle. She zoomed into the air and Nova stared at her in shock before she slightly giggled. What the hell even was that thing? It didn't quite seem like an actual threat, but soon the tentacles started to tighten their grasp. She kept standing there a little longer, obviously amused, however not even considering fleeing as an option as the malicious joy drove her. This was also why she didn't pay any attention to the free tentacles that soon reached for her though.

Not at all fast enough, she activated the lightsaber, but that brain was just faster and hurled it out of her hand with ease before it coiled its arm around her legs and pulled. Nova too, became airborne and now hang upside down while this floating thing started to move. "WHAT THE FUCK?!" she loudly and furiously bellowed, kicking and squirming in the tight grip while she was a bit overwhelmed by that stupid situation. Would their masters be there in time or would they hear their cried? Nova roared angrily before this thing gagged her with another arm, so that all she could still do was stare at Luci, with actual panic now creeping into the acolyte.

"N-nngh!" The brain-like helio's tentacles squeezed harder and harder, causing Luci to grunt through her teeth with struggled cries. The tendril that tightened around her throat nearly cut off the faint sounds that barely escaped her lips.

"Nn-Nov--" Luci had barely begun to groan out Nova's name to see if the lady was doing any better, when their bodies were suddenly whisked through the air. "AH!" The Padawan squeaked before suddenly having the front of her body slammed against Nova's. Luci barely managed to keep the tips of her horns from hitting the Sith, but there wasn't much she could do to stop their heads from colliding.

The half-Tiefling let out a short cry and grunt upon feeling her heavy skull crash against something, though she didn't know if it had been Nova or one of the tentacles around the pair. The daze lasted for a few moments, while the large helio squeezed its prey together and continued to rise further away from the cave where it caught them.

Half-stunned, and still restrained, Luci wasn't able to do anything upon coming to her senses enough to realize her body was being squeezed against Nova's. The Padawan squirmed, but found that she was still unable to move her arms or legs, even as the tendrils slithered out from between the girls and wrapped tighter around both of them to pin them together and make the prey easier for the helio to take back to its lair.
