In truth, Jaikus had grown rather familiar with the atmosphere of The Twilight - his foot lightly tapping to the constant thrum of music and the festival revelry of its patrons. The Chandrilan club - located within one of the wealthier districts of Hanna City - was a local favorite amongst the planetary elite, and a venue that the Axxilan had taken his own fiance to in the past for a night of dancing. Of course, the purpose of Jaikus’ most recent visit was entirely business related - reflected in the fact that he was seated high above the crowds - eyes fixed his half-full glass.
Since the beginning of the Kilik threat, the Galaxy had been in a state of utter chaos - and Jaikus had spent most of that time, up until now, isolated from it all from the far corners of the Galaxy. It was only now that the Axxilan had returned - attempting to contribute and capitalize upon a potential opportunity through Atlos. He knew this ‘fixer’ - Morgan - by reputation alone, but it was enough that the Axxilan felt confident to contact the mercenary for the job.
The Axxilan had reserved a private booth within the VIP section of The Twilight - conveniently tucked away from the bustling crowds and overly interested listeners. Rather than his more stylish attire, Jaikus wad adorned in his covert armor - donning the persona of ‘Dervish’ for this meeting. Morgan could have no idea that the ‘intermediary’ he was told he would be meeting was, in fact, his employer.
In the event his scheme went awry, Jaikus ensured that nothing of it could be linked back to him or Atlos.
For the moment, Jaikus patiently waited for his business partner to arrive - lounging back in the plush, comfortable seating of his reserved booth. There was still a few minutes to burn before the time that was scheduled - and the Axxilan spent it scrolling through his datapad idly.
