The rapid drum of countless glass bits hammered into the metal bin until Kyo sensed the pouncing Seela. His concentration wavered. Most of the shards made it into the bin, but he suddenly lost track of a couple pieces before they shot into the girl.

Kyosuke winced as Seela slammed into the tub, potentially damaging herself further. He then shook his head and let out a sigh. "Maybe it's best we get you to bed. Can you get those out?" He then began to get up while pointing at the shards in her hand before he suddenly dipped again. The light headed dizziness nearly toppled him, but he managed to catch himself on the edge of the tub.

A loud grumble mumbled from his stomach. Hunger.

Kyo sighed and collected himself. He might as well do what he could for now to keep her on good terms. "Alright. I believe you enough for now. Forgive me if I've been acting out of line. I might be cautious for awhile, so don't take it personally..." He'd then rest the corner of his bottom on the edge of the tub and lean over towards her neck. "Hold still..." He'd whisper, then he'd reach to the back of her neck as calmly and comforting as he could, trying not to startle her.

If Seela allowed him to, he'd then unfasten the black shock collar, and gently pull it off her neck.

While Seela was entranced by the sparkling shinies, the word "bed" caught her attention. Yes! Bed! Sleep! Please! Seela frowned confusedly at the "getting those out" part. Out of what? The shards were only resting on her palm, she didn't squish her fist so much as to embbed them in her skin! She still knew glass was prickly!
Looking at Kyosuke, feeling seriously creeped out at being apologized to, Seela had to fight her reflex of backing away when he came closer. Everything in her screamed "danger" and she hated to be so vulnerable, but since he still held the kriffing remote...
Seela tensed more and more as his hands went for her throat, but held as still as she could, lekkus twisting around each other tightly in the back, she even went as far as to hold her breath, keeping her eyes on his approaching hands.
To her surprise and confusion, Kyosuke unfastened the hated collar, and Seela winced slightly at the movement of the two prongs, but felt instant relief as they were removed.
Seela then quickly backed away a little, releasing her breath, then hurried to wash off the nasty feeling the collar left in her skin, carefully cleaning the two dots of electrical burn, but otherwise scrubed at her throat like she could scrub away the bad memories.

"T-thank you..."

"You're welcome." Kyosuke kindly replied as he began to lean up and stand. He then set the collar aside on the counter, and opened one of the sealed compartments on the wall to pull out a pair of jet-black towels that were soft and comfy. After a moment of fighting off another wave of dizziness he'd then close the compartment and extend one of the fluffy towels down toward the Twi'lek while he did his best to keep her within the corner of his vision.

"Here." Once she took the towel he'd use his to start patting parts of his body dry. Didn't want to take the chance that he'd missed any bits and pushed them deeper into his skin, so he'd just leave his torso damp and shiny for now.

"Careful..." The Knight wouldn't take the chance that she got out of the tub alone and broke something, so as soon as she'd go to exit the tub he'd block the way until she'd let him support her. "If you want I got some extra clothes. I doubt anything will fit you much -" The young man blushed a tad. "- but at least you'll be covered..."

Seela pouted at Kyosuke's insistance to not let her outside the bath on her own, reluctantly letting him help her. Seela had been used to do everything by herself since she could remember, never really being able to rely on anyone's help.
Once out of the water, Seela quickly dried herself, then kept the towel over her head, like a hooded cloak, holding it closed just under her chin, enjoying the fluffy softness. Seela tilted her head, trying to decide if she wanted to bother putting on clothes. She was quite comfy just like this!
Then, remembering the man's shyness, she concluded she would have to wear clothes, if only for his sake.

"I mean, I'm fine like this, but if you are offering, what would I need to do in return?"

"Well..." Kyo gradually extended his towel around Seela, covering from the top of her chest down to her thighs. He blushed a little more realizing that he pretty much had to have his body and head even closer to her lightly dripping body. "You can start by wearing one of these when you get out of the shower. If you're really free then you're going to have to act like it." He'd finish tying the towel around her, being gentle so as to not aggravate her wounds.

"Free people aren't actually free. It's an illusion to keep people docile and controlled." He then began to place most of the items into his dampened pants. "There are measures to keep civility in the galaxy. For example, it's generally a bad idea to go walking around nude in public." He glanced up and down Seela's body, which was much more bearable now that her bits were no longer exposed.

As he finished putting the last of the items away he let the collar and remote remain in the corner on the counter, scooping up his hoodie and boots into his left hand after he secured his gloves and blaster pistol on the back right of his utility belt. The Shadow then turned and shot Seela a very serious look. "And civil people generally don't go around murdering people. It'll often get them locked up or killed in return. So keep that in mind as well."

He'd perhaps come across a little more harsh than he meant to. Started to remind himself of his ex-Master...

But he wasn't going to harbor a murder hobo when he hoped he could prevent Seela from becoming one before it was too late.

Kyo then turned his back on her, and began to lead her across the hall to the chamber he used as a closet, and which held the ripples of the Dark Side as its source was inside the room. "There will be consequences, and it will only lead you down the path to the Dark Side..."

Seela pouted at having to wear clothes, but decided that if he just gave them to her, only asking that she didn't go around naked, then she would humor him.
Seela still didn't understand how he had place for that much gear in just normal pants, it didn't make sense!
Kyosuke's mood suddenly turned dark and scary, as he then started to scold and threaten her. Nope! Seela didn't like that Kyosuke!!!
Seela flinched, retreating and hiding in her towel, and taking a few small steps back. Hesitating to follow him, the choice was made when he went on talking, and was now on the subject of the dark side.
Seela started to catch up to Kyosuke, when she stopped in her tracks, feeling the creepy cool of the dark side near where he was going. Alarmed, she frantically dove into her Light, forcing it to glow as bright as she could, pushing it towards the darkness. She managed a reasonable amount of light, but then started to sway, having exhausted her last reserves of energy, she ended up leaning against the wall.

"Don't worry about the Dark side, you already made your speech about 'Dark Side Bad' and scared me to death once with it..."

Seela was just sooo tired, she didn't even have the energy to give a kriff about his reactions...

"Well then either I didn't teach you very well -" Kyo went to a corner by one of the beds, which had a cable above it that ran across the back of the room to suspend more than two dozen various outfits that were all strapped against the wall. Most of them were black, a few were grey, and barely any were white. "- or you weren't paying enough attention." He'd then pluck out one of his loose wide black shimmersilk shirts that was more like a poncho than anything.

The Knight tried to remain calm as he barely managed to pull a flicker of Light around him, nearly failing to hold the Dark at bay in his currently aggravated state. "'Cause I'm pretty sure I saw you murder someone back there -" he then began to approach her slowly, glaring into her pearls as he took each heavy step toward her. "- and I'm pretty sure I saw a corpse back there that for some reason I think you had something to do with." He stood within a couple inches in front of Seela, dropping the oversized shirt on her good shoulder while his emotional glare intensified.

"Tell me why I shouldn't lock you up for the night." The sweet and innocent boy was long gone, overwhelmed with a sense of disappointment and a look on his face like he'd failed her. "Because quite frankly, in the eyes of these 'free folk' around here, that would be justice." He let out a heavy and shaky breath, then looked at the ground and shook his head while he pulled away from her a tad to give her some space.

"The citizens here despise people like us -- Force sensitives." Then he realized he was prattling on, going too far scolding the apparently naive individual who had only recently begun to experience her first days of freedom. He began to realize she probably needed to be handled a little more delicately, and adjusted his tone to be more considerate and sympathetic. "If we get caught... If the wrong group finds out what you've done, what I've allowed you to get away with, then they'll put us away and cage us for as long as they can justify... And that could be the rest of our lives..."

Kyo let out another sigh and slumped his back against the wall. His stomach growled at him again. The young man then flashed his azure gaze over to Seela's eyes to study her expression before he'd then gradually approach the brig between his quarters and the refresher. Then he'd stand there, blocking the rest of the hall as he opened the door to the small dim-lit room, which had it's own mini-refesher and a pair of beds.

The crestfallen young Knight continued to wait there with his empty hand held out toward the room, motioning for Seela to go inside. He felt bad that he hadn't really given her much of a chance to explain herself. He was being stubborn like his ex-Master, but in the moment he wasn't sure how else to handle the girl. He'd never had a servant, never had a kid, and never even had a Padawan. This whole situation was still entirely new to him, and he didn't think he was handling it as well as he'd liked.

"Look, just... Get some rest for now, okay? This time we're probably fine. I'll do my best to make sure of that." The Shadow considered the Dark Side he'd felt at the repair shop, and hoped it was only one Dark zealot that was involved with the gang. 'Hopefully he was just alone... Hopefully there isn't an Apprentice after us for revenge - or worse - a Master... I'll have to keep that to myself for now. I've been hard enough on her. No need to worry her more and make things worse than I've already made them...'

Seela reaaally didn't like what she felt from Kyosuke right now! He made her feel bad for what she did, even if she knew very well that those men were actively threatening her life. She wasn't sure freedom was worth it anymore!
Seela recoiled when he dropped the shirt on her, expecting pain, for some reason. Then, ice filled her veins. He talked about locking her up!!! Now it was clear she should have stayed at the bar! He obviously didn't remember nor care about having promised her to never put her in a box again! Seela licked her lips, and the saltiness made her realise she was crying. Ashamed of herself, scared, pathetic... She didn't want to be with him anymore! Seela didn't like those feelings!
When he motioned for her to go to the room, Seela didn't hesitate, not wanting to displease him more, meekly making her way to the room, shaking a little, head down, before going in the corner farthest from the door. Once there, even if her legs were screaming at her, she waited for him to close the door.
However, she just had to give one last try. With a shaky weak voice, barely a murmur, came her words.

"Y-you promised no one would ever put me in a box again..."

Seela missed Master and the club...

Kyosuke froze. He heard his own voice echo in his head, repeating to himself from out of nowhere the line he'd spoken to her when he told her that nobody would ever put her in a box again. He promised. And now he was the one doing it.

The Knight didn't move. His head was tilted at the floor. His fingers hovered over the button to lock her in the box. In the crack of his bangs a drop of water built up at the corner of his dim blue eye.

He didn't move. He didn't make a sound.

Sniffling a little, Seela nervously shifted, waiting for the door to close, not daring to move more, knowing that she should have kept silent. Against her better judgment, she decided to take advantage of his silence to plead for her defense. She felt the need to justify her actions, to gain back his approval.

"Those persons that died... I had no choice... they were actively threatening my life very seriously..."

She tried to stay still, waiting for his response. Seela didn't understand why his approval was so important to her, but is disapprobation and anger towards her hurt sooo much!

"I get it." The young Knight's energy died down. His dim gaze fell even lower, and his hand at the control panel slowly began to fall. He was being hypocritical and unreasonable. Bounty hunting and surviving off the edge of the galaxy had left him in predicaments where he'd been forced to do the same thing he scolded her about. "I've had to kill people too..."

The dizzy Shadow's hand gradually continued to fall towards his side. "Even as a Jedi there've been times where I've had to kill for the greater good. Where I've had to choose between two evils. Where I've had to weigh my life against those I wish I could've saved instead." Clouded memories echoed in his foggy mind, mixing with his imbalanced state.

Kyo raised his empty hand before it fell to his side, and went to pinch the inner corners of his eyes as he let out a sigh and closed them. "Even though the Jedi raised me to believe that nobody is beyond redemption. That every life is worth saving..." He'd continue to pause there for a moment, before he ran his thumb and index down the along the outer edges of his eyes and swept them back up to wipe away a pair of swelling tears that he wouldn't give a chance to fall.

"I shouldn't be punishing you over this. I should be teaching you and preparing you for those kinds of threats with the skills you need to deal with them -- without having to kill everyone who crosses you." He let out another heavy breath and dropped his hand to his side as he gave off a slight shrug and turned his gaze to Seela. "I should be helping you cope, not pushing you away..."

Seela was definitely not confortable with jow things just turned out. Kyosuke's mood swings were giving her whiplash! Plus, she had absolutely no clue how she was supposed to react to him... Seela didn't know what to do! She couldn't seem to get an understanding of the man, which was really unsettling her. She had gotten used to always being able to anticipate people's reactions, and knowing how to act accordingly. With Kyosuke, as soon as she tought she knew what she was supposed to do, his personality changed totally! She couldn't seem to find what he wanted from her, and that made Seela incredibly anxious. If she couldn't figure out what he wanted, how was she supposed to know what to avoid???
Seela's tummy felt like it was twisting and making knots inside her, and she didn't have the energy to deal with all that mess right now...
Mentally, she corrected his last sentence.

You should be letting me cope, and heal, not adding to my baggage!

Seela really just wanted to be left alone, to process the latest events, and deal with her emotions in peace... And sleep. She tought about just going to sleep first, but in the emotional state she was in, she knew she would have to process things before being able to sleep.
She couldn't even keep her lekkus still, they were just constantly twitching and twisting in her back, trying to expel some of the nervous energy.

"Sleep where you want." Kyo then walked away, heading to the lounge without closing the door to the brig where he left Seela alone. Within moments he'd be at the couch, his boots on the floor next to it, his hoodie draped over the backrest.

Then he just sat there for a bit, hands on his head, gently rubbing back and forth as the scene repeated in his mind over and over. He tried to think of different ways to approach her, different things he could've said and better points he could've made, but it was all too late. The damage was done and they were going to have to live with that. 'Good going... Maybe I should find somebody else to care for her...'

Seela waited to hear him sit on the couch, then waited a few seconds more, just to be sure. Once she felt fairly certain that he wasn't coming back, she silently slipped back in the refresher, to grab her shoes, then clutching them to her chest, she slipped to the room where she slept last time. It was farther from the place where the Dark energy seemed to come from, and mostly, just not the room he just almost locked her in earlier.
Plus, even tho Seela didn't legally own anything (except the credits she earned in the soles of her shoes) Kyosuke had allowed her to use that space before all the bad things happened, and Seela felt somewhat like he had assigned this room to her. And she didn't want to stay in the other room, it stank of her own fear, pain and despair too much. And so, Seela slipped into "her" room, and put the shirt on the bed, and pushed her shoes neatly in a corner by the bed. She had also grabbed what was left of her costume, and planned to examine if there was anything potentially useful, once she felt better. She neatly folded it, and put it on her shoes. Once done, she removed the towel from her body, and carefully put on the silky shirt, wincing a few times and pouting at her injuries making life annoying.
One all those preparations were done, Seela felt surprisingly calmer. She got herself on the bed, then realised she had been wearing the blanket when she got kidnapped, so it got shredded. Wrinkling her nose at the idea of having to get up again, her gaze fell on the warm fluffy towel, and she made up her mind.
Carefully rolling herself in a small ball, in the corner of the bed, back to the wall, she let out a few small noises of satisfaction and comfort, and without she even closed her eyes, Seela was asleep...

The cityworld continued to slowly rotate outside the Shinigami's continuous windows, periodically shining various hues of artificial lights into the ship's upper deck. Shini discreetly dipped the ship in and out of vast tunnel systems as she piloted it through certain channels to keep them incognito around the 3,321st level. Eventually she'd engage the ship's magnetic clamps to cling to the back corner of a cavernous waterway.

The Shinigami's own gravity generator would keep everyone and everything onboard the ship held down as though they were upright. The few bits of azure light that reflected on the water from inside the ship would shimmer and ripple across its serene surface.

Kyosuke would eventually pull himself together as he focused on the mercy of his compassion to let Seela remain free for the night. He had to find some good in how he'd made her feel. He had to forgive himself for making her cry to be at peace with his emotions, and he hoped she would be able to do the same.

With a big, long, deep breath the Knight would finally finish calming his nerves. His back was upright, his fingertips formed a circle, and his wrists hung off his thighs. Then his bright blues would open and gaze down the aft hall where the Dark lurked. 'Gonna have to deal with -that- soon...' He felt a strain at his edges and pushed himself to his feet, forcing himself to get to the fridge so he could get a quick bite to eat.

'Hm?' He immediately noticed the lack of leftover bantha meat in the fridge and arched a brow. Then he thought he must've eaten it when a flash of Seela on her knees surged through his mind's eye. The image then jerked and jolted to him giving her some of the meat for her to eat before it all would suddenly snap away.

The young man stared at the last remaining piece of bantha meat.

'Well, at least she's eating too.' He'd then let out a sigh, and begin to prepare the small meal...

Several minutes later Kyo would be heading down the stairs to the lower deck while he washed down the last bit of meat. Then as he turned down the stairs halfway he began to hear a few sparking and clattering noises coming from the hangar on the other side of the bow hall. Then he thought he heard some chatting between his two rescue droids.

"Grem?" The chattering ceased and Kyo stealthily made his way over to peak the top of his head around the corner. "Imp?"

Gremlin leaned his head out of the Avian's driver side door, where he'd been sitting on the edge of the seat with his legs hanging over toward Imp. The trepid buzz droid had just finished repairing the friendly scout when they both noticed Kyo's attempt to spy on them.

All three of them watched each other, still and silent. Kyo stared at the droids with a curious gaze while they stared back wondering what he'd do.

A few awkward moments passed.

Then Kyo finally broke the ice and began to walk in. "Hey you two." He tried to come across as peaceful and friendly to comfort the skittish sabotage droid. "Thanks for fixing Grem, budd-" Imp immediately hobbled over to the nearest vent and looked back at Kyo, who froze in place so as to not alarm the droid.

Gremlin hopped up to his feet and cooed thankfully at Imp, who cautiously turned back to face his friend. A moment passed while they looked at each other. Kyo watched with a brow raised. Then Imp nodded to Grem and spattered some incoherent noises from his gritty vocals before he'd slink into the vent with his three red eyes watching the humanoid the entire time. Grem beeped farewell, perked up on one leg, and waved at Imp with his newly repaired one.

The young man just sort of stood there with his hands up like he was innocent and wasn't going to do anything, until the vent finally shut and Imp was gone. Kyo then released his held breath and looked down at Gremlin, who gazed back up at his bestie. "Well that was nice of him. You feeling better?"

Gremlin nodded excitedly and cheered happily. Then he'd look around and tilt his head to the side while he gazed back up at the Knight. A couple inquisitive beeps would emit from the curious droid before Kyo would plant one hand on his hip and rub the back of his head nervously. "Ehh... We kind of had a bit of a misunderstanding..."

After several more minutes of explaining what had happened between him and Seela to Gremlin, the little scout droid would slap Kyo across the shin with one of his tiny footpads and scurry his way up the stairs to Seela's room.

Once there, Grem went to whine up at the girl to tell her he was sorry and that Kyo was a jerk for the way he acted, but his digital tones faded as he realized she was asleep. He'd slowly approach a little closer, then would gently paw up at the edge of her mattress. No response. He'd then hop up onto her bed as softly as he could, pausing as he noticed he almost landed on part of her foot. Then he'd slowly look over at her, and gently paw her back to see if she was really asleep.

The little scout would leave his footpad on her for a moment, then let out a nearly inaudible whimper before he walked around to the other side of her. He'd check her again, paused, and then would carefully step toward her core as close as he could get without stepping on her. Once there, he'd then curl down against her and snuggle against Seela. He'd wait a few more minutes to see if she was awake, before he'd eventually power down into sleep mode...

Kyosuke watched from the door with a heartfelt smile on the corner of his lips. Seela needed Grem more than Kyo did right now, and the little droid knew that.

The young Knight gave a couple nods, then made his way toward the room that doubled as his wardrobe. The room where the Dark Side lingered and tempted both Force-sensitives. There was a time when he'd have considered it a challenge of his abilities to quell the Dark with the Light, a welcome test even, but now... Now it was a threat that could unbalance either of them and pit them against each other.

Now he had to deal with it.

Kyo took a deep steady breath, pulled the Light around him, and then opened the closet.

Seela woke up, about four hours later, to a light rumble in her stomach, and the very welcome weight that was becoming familiar to her cuddled up against her middle. Giving a small delighted squeal, she quicly took the droid in her arm, nuzzling his cute little head.

"Hello Gremlin! You seem to be all better! I missed you!"

Sitting up to the happy beeps of a waking Gremlin, she then looked around the room, and tought about going out, but then wrinkled her nose at the idea of coming across Kyosuke. While she didn't feel as scared as before her nap, Seela still didn't feel up to interacting with the man directly. Having an idea, her eyes sparked with new excitement.

"Hey, buddy, I know there's vents in the ship, since Imp seems to go around with those. What do you think of playing a spying game? Wouldn't it be fun?"

The little droid enthusiastically agreed, happy to see Seela feeling better. Feeling excited for some harmless mischief, and for spying, because after all, it was kinda his thing, Gremlin hopped around on the bed, beeping and cooing happily.
Seeing her little friend's excitment, Seela quicly got up, and took her costume's skirt to creatively fashion a sort of sling to help holding her left arm. Slipping a single credit chip in the folds, for luck.
Once done, Seela looked around the room, searching for the mysterious vents, feeling quite giddy and excited herself.

"Mind showing me the way, Agent Grem?"

Playfully getting into character, she watched the cute droid hop down to the floor, then scurry under the bed. Following, she went on hand and knees, and entered the vents. She was having fun playing around, and didn't even think about being unsettled by the lack of light. Not that she had any problem seeing in the dark, anyway!
And so, Seela eventually found herself lying in wait, watching from the shadows, looking in on a room she hadn't explored yet. Making sure Agent Grem was also silent, Seela then focused on her force sense, slowly extanding cautious tendrils of awareness towards a pod.

Kyosuke had been busy during the last 4 hours.

The dim lit meditation chamber had a purple hue currently cast up along it's sleek curved walls. From a small peep hole in the vent entrance at the ceiling Seela would be able to see down to a black pod that extended from the floor and ceiling to connect at the center of the room's height.

From within the mediation pod Kyo had been trying to overcome the Dark that festered in his Knight Lurker armor, which was folded in front of him and laid on the comfortable cushion of the completely unit pod. The Shadow had pulled the Light around himself and the armor, soaking it into every bit he could to hold the Dark at bay.

From the outside, Seela would be able to feel the undeniable aura of Light that radiated from within the pod. The Dark that once came from the wardrobe room was now in the pod as well, but it had become far less than it had been. Now the presence was barely a faint prickle.

Gremlin would look at Seela, then gave her a gentle coo as he tried to figure out what she was doing while he'd gaze out the small glass peep visor with her.

Feeling Kyosuke, Seela dove deeper, still trying to keep her own light as discreet as possible, because spies gotta sneak, right? Then, she frowned when she felt the Dark side, very near Kyosuke. Nope, not a chance that she would let the dark side manipulate him! Last time he got angry at her, it made her feel so bad!
Not wanting to alert the man to her presence, Seela knew she would have to send a very strong short burst, then retreat immediately from the force.
Winking at Agent Grem, she patted his head with a lekku, and took a deep breath. Going deep inside herself, she started channeling as much light as she could contain inside.
Once she felt she was about to burst, she threw it all to the source of the dark energy in one short but powerful blast, slightly blinding herself doing so.
Then, she focused back to the real world, and waited for a reaction.
