The Order was flexible? That was not what her master told her. Perhaps he'd been so disconnected from the Order that he didn't notice it change. That, or, Tiberius was mistaken. He wasn't wrong, at least, about her intentions. Emilia was zealously devoted to the Light Side, to justice, peace.

To Tiberius' mention of visiting a temple, Emilia leaned back on the bed and stared up, "Don't get too many crazy thoughts in your head." There didn't seem to be any reason for her to go to a temple again. She wasn't going to make friends, she didn't care about ranks, and they wouldn't even hold the same beliefs as her.

When he asked his own question, Emilia remained quiet at first. She brought both her hands up and folded them under her head. Tiberius wouldn't be able to tell if she was thinking on the subject or simply getting more comfortable. Then, she answered, "You're useful," Emilia said plainly, "And had plenty of chance to run off yourself."

But, her purple eyes drifted away somewhat. "And, I suppose, your company isn't all that terrible, even with your obnoxious humor," she grunted, losing herself in a few moments of thought.

Against her better judgment, she added, "It also felt...natural to have you by my side. It was almost as if the Force was telling me to trust you, or maybe I just got too use to working with my master. He disappeared months ago, and this is the longest I've been on my own."

Tiberius chuckled at Emilia’s comment about not getting crazy ideas. Tiberius didn’t think it was that crazy of a thought, but the small Sephi had been living the lone wolf life style for a while that that was probably a crazy idea to her. It was true, though, at least in Tiberius mind, that Emilia would be welcomed back to the temple if she chose to return.

That seemed to be the end of the conversation. Emilia didn’t answer Tiberius question. Instead she seemed to get more comfortable in the bed. Then the Sephi broke the silence again. She started her response by telling Tiberius that she thought he was “useful.” Tiberius smiled. That was the nicest thing that she had ever said to him. But that wasn’t the end of the Sephi’s thought. She was right, Tiberius did have plenty of chances to run off himself, but he didn’t, against his better judgment sometimes.

Tiberius listened to the rest of Emilia’s answer. He was unsure about how he should respond to her. He remembered back to when he and Ruzaan worked with the Sephi and Sernpidal and how the knight had felt similar to what Emilia was now describing to him. Like the force was telling him to trust her despite having basically no reason to at the time. Even the young Togruta padawan had pointed out how odd it was that Tiberius put so much trust in the white haired woman.

“Well,” Tiberius said slowly after a moment. His eyes were now turned towards the ground. He was visualizing the different outcomes of what may happen next, like he was looking at the many different branches of a timeline. Which branch would Tiberius and Emilia travel down? What happened in the next few minutes would reveal the answer. “I’ve felt the same about you.” His eye’s ventured back to Emilia. “I think we make pretty good team.”

Tiberius allowed a little time to pass in case Emilia had a response. He was interested in the end of Emilia’s statement, though. “Tell me more about your master. What happened?” Tiberius was enjoying this side of Emilia, getting to know her better. Although, there was the possibility that she was only being like this because of her injuries and not being able to move too much without pain, but Tiberius also thought that she was determined enough that she wouldn’t be here unless she wanted to be.

Emilia's eyes did not return to Tiberius when he answered her. She was surprised, which caught her off guard. The surprise somehow managed to show on her face somewhat. But, it wore off fast enough and her expression returned to its regular position.

She didn't give any reaction to his comment about making a good team, or answer his question right away. Emilia was thinking. She carefully tried to examine herself, her thoughts. The small Jedi paused for a long time, allowing the white noise of the hotel room and underworld settle between them.

The small sephi only answered when she was ready, "My master always taught me to zealously follow the Force, because it would guide me when I listened," the small sephi began, lowering her gaze back to the human beside her bed in order to get across a point.

She didn't give him a warm look. Her eyes were cold and a frown tugged at the sides of her mouth. "But its hard to trust people when you've been taught to never let anyone get close. So this feeling between us is confusing to me." It was her way to say she didn't or wasn't ready to trust it. Not fully. More pointedly, trust Tiberius fully. The only person who'd ever earned her complete trust was her master.

"And I don't know what happened to my master. He just took his ship and left," she said as plainly as she could, even though there were emotions beneath it.

Although Tiberius only had a partial view of the Sephi’s face He caught a glimpse of a micro expression. What was the expression? It was hard to tell, but in the blink of an eye it was gone and the characteristic stoic expression returned to the feminine face.

Once again it seemed like the conversation had ended. Seconds turned into minutes. Had Tiberius upset Emilia with what he said? After a few minutes the knight pushed himself up out of his chair. Healing the Sephi had really taken it out of him, but could feel his strength starting to return to him. He went to the restroom and returned a few minutes later. He walked over to the window and peered out the curtains, they were several stories up. The city scape was illuminated by a variety of neon signs. He backed away from the curtains and eventually settled back into the chair beside the bed.

Tiberius sat and stared off into space. The sounds of the underworld filled the quiet that had settled between the Jedi. The knight began thinking of the events of the day. It certainly had been a busy one. Then the silence was broken once again by Emilia. Her voice came so suddenly that it caused Tiberius to jump ever so slightly. Tiberius turned to look at Emilia, but he was not greeted by her normally expressionless face. Instead, she worn a frown and her cold eyes peered into his.

Tiberius nodded in acknowledgement of the words Emilia spoke. “I understand.” Tiberius began to reply. “It can be hard to go against those teachings that are so deeply engrained in us. Your master was right though. The force will give us the guidance we need.” From the little information that Tiberius had gathered about Emilia’s master, he was pretty old school when it came to his jedi beliefs, but Tiberius wasn’t going to tell that to Emilia. For all he knew she was already aware of it.

It was clear to Tiberius that Emilia didn’t fully trust him yet, and he couldn’t blame her. After all it was only their second interaction together.

Emilia went on and answered Tiberius other question about her master. It seemed like she really didn’t know too much. He wanted to probe more, but he could tell that it might be a sore subject. “I’m sorry to hear that.” Was the response he gave. He truly was sorry. Losing one’s master seemed like it would be hard to go through, especially not knowing what happened to said master.

Hearing Tiberius agree with her master made Emilia feel a little more mixed up. The subject was very serious to her, because she deeply believed in 'listening' to the Force, the Light Side and her masters teachings. But, she had no more desire or energy to put into the subject right now, not in her current state. Besides, she was starting to feel uncomfortable.

Still, she held her eye contact with Tiberius when he said he was sorry. "I don't need your sorry," she said flatly. It was something she said before, and she'd say again.

After, she pushed the subject of her master from her mind. The small sephi felt a bit of her strength return in that moment, and did her best to push herself up to sit up in the bed. Wincing slightly.

"So, are you going to nurse me back to health or is Carth going to come back and crush your skull in?" she asked. Dryly. Technically it was a real question, not a joke. Technically. She didn't make jokes...

Once successfully sat up, a holoprojector came into her view. Emilia tipped her head slightly. "Do you have holonet in here?" she asked, gesturing towards it. "Any pod or speeder races on?"

The young sephi was very religious and work-focused, and probably didn't give off the impression that she enjoyed anything else. Or anything in general, really. But, she was stuck in this room for the time being. And she was sephi, not a droid; there were other things she enjoyed.

Emilia made it clear that Tiberius condolences were not wanted. He put up his hands in front of him. “Okay, okay.” Normally the polite response was “thank you,” or something like that, but Emilia didn’t seem to care much for customs. She wasn’t like the other girls.

A moment passed and Emilia started to push herself up in bed. Tiberius thought she might try to get up out of the bed. “Hey, hey.” He said jumping up out of the chair. He poised his arms to catch the Sephi thinking that she might topple over if she tried to get up. “Let’s take it easy.” While she might have been getting stronger it was clear that she was not 100% yet, barely even 50% really.

The knight smiled at the Sephi as she asked him if he was going to nurse her back to health. He looked into Emilia’s purple eyes. “Of course I’m going to. What kind of friend would I be if I didn’t? Besides, I’ve grown rather attached to my head. I’d hate for Carth to come back and ruin its relationship with the rest of my body.” Although Emilia didn’t seem to appreciate humor the same way Tiberius did it didn’t stop him from adding the last bit jokingly.

The white haired woman’s next question drew Tiberius’ eyes to the holoprojector. “Let’s see what we have.” He flipped it on and started flipping through the various channels. Pictures of various programming popped up and disappeared as Tiberius looked for some form of racing. Then he stopped. He found it. It was pod racing. It looked like they were on Tatooine. Tiberius sat back in the chair next to the bed.

“You don’t strike me as a racing fan.” He stated, watching the different vehicles racing by. The chair he was in had no armrests and so he resting an arm on the bedside table that sat between the two Jedi. “What else should I know about you?” It seemed like it was time to move on to topics that were a little less serious than missing masters and interpersonal relationships

Emilia wasn't all that fond of the Knights help when she went to sit up. Not that it didn't help, she just didn't like feeling this weak in front of someone. It added to her discomfort.

She stared blankly at the Knight while he made his joke and she didn't miss that he called her his 'friend'. Whether she found his joke humorous in anyway was hidden behind her look. Her purple eyes flicked to the holoprojecter next.

Tiberius switched between channels, searching for races. The quick moments of mumbling voices, music, sounds as the channels switched triggered a memory in Emilia, of sitting beside her master. In front of her and her master was a holoprojector. The two of them were browsing the local news, a ritual of theirs each morning.

The memory didn't make her sad, it made her feel strangely comfortable in the moment. But once the podracing came on, she was brought back to the present. Halfway through Tiberius' sentence about striking her as something, Emilia pointed at a man on the holoprojector. "That is Hess'tar Bray, the youngest podracer to break the Krillon run record. He beat the track in three minutes, thirty two seconds. Forty four seconds ahead of the previous record."

"Behind him,"
Emilia's finger pointed to the next pod, "Par. Arguably the second most skilled on the track, despite his poor performance this season. I predict Hess'tar Bray takes this race."

When Emilia paused, she heard Tiberius' next question. She looked back at him with her usual stoic look. "The number of questions asked between us is uneven. It's my turn to ask a question," Emilia explained, then continued, "How long have you been with the Order?" If she was going to work with this man sometimes, it was only fair that he told her a little bit about himself.

As Tiberius was talking Emilia began to speak over him. He slowly trailed of as he listened to the Sephi rattle off facts about the race participants. The knight raised his eye browns with surprise. *I guess it’s true. Never trust a book by its cover.* Tiberius thought to himself as he listened to Emilia and her enthusiasm for pod racing. Tiberius watched the racers and paid attention to who Emilia was pointing out. She put her money on Hess'tar Bray. “Okay,” Tiberius started as he studied the beings on the holoprojector. “What do you want to bet?” He asked her.

Tiberius next question went unanswered. Instead, the small Sephi informed the knight that it was her turn to ask a question. “Okay,” He nodded. “Fair enough.” She had asked how long Tiberius had been with the Jedi. “Hmm…” The jedi tilted his head back and looked at the ceiling. His eyes moved from one side of the ceiling to the other. “Let’s see. I was picked up by the Jedi when I was 12. So it’s been about 13 years now.”

He tilted his head back down to the neutral position He briefly looked at Emilia as he finished his reply and then asked, “What about you?” He then turned his gaze back to the holoprojector, the race was getting ready to start. He had never been a huge sports fan in general, but he did occasionally watch them if someone else was interested. He remembered being young and his father used to invited his friends over and they would watch Hutt ball. Tiberius would sit on the arm of the couch and watch the player move back and forth across the field.

"Mmm," she let out at his first question. Something did come to mind. "If Hess'tar Bray wins, you come with me to Dantooine. I have plans there to help the population, using the connections I've accrued recently." By come with her, she meant he'd have to get them there on his ship, because Emilia still hadn't earned enough credits to get her own. "So, what do you want if you win?"

Tiberius explained that he'd been with the Order since twelve. Emilia looked away again thinking about her own past. She settled her purple eyes on the race for the moment, even if her mind was elsewhere. "The orphanage gave me to the Order when I was six, when they discovered my connection to the Force," she explained. "So thirteen years for me as well."

She wondered if she ever ran into Tiberius at the temple when they were younger, without her knowing or remembering. It was entirely possible, considering Emilia had pretty much no memories from around that time.

Her thoughts on them possibly crossing paths faded when Par pushed Hess'tar Bray off track, then took a ramp and managed to jump ahead of the pack. Emilia frowned at the sight, but hoped that Hess'tar Bray could close the distance and still pull off a win. She didn't like to lose bets, because she staunchly honored them.

Tiberius heard the Sephi thinking before she announced her terms. Dantooine. The knight had not been back to his home in some time now he wondered what kind of emotions he would feel if he went back there. “Okay.” Tiberius said. “If I win…” His eyes went up and to the left as he thought of his reward. He thought about getting Emilia to go back to Yavin with him, but he didn’t think that would be too agreeable with the woman. Just about this time growled. He hadn’t eaten anything all day. His eyes went back to the holoprojector. “If I win, dinner is on you tonight.” He stretched an arm across the bedside table to shake on the deal.

His eyes found the Sephi as she answered Tiberius follow up question. Tiberius had come across many younglings during his time with the Jedi. He didn’t have any specific memory of Emilia, but she would likely have looked different back then. “When did and your master leave?” He had known that at some point Emilia and her master had disappeared from the order. When he had looked both of them up in the Jedi databanks previously both of their whereabout were listed as “unknown”

Tiberius started regretting his decision to make a bet with Emilia. There were sounds of gun fire coming from the holoprojector. It appeared that tusken raiders had started to fire on Par. He slowed down as he dodges their attack. As he did so Hess'tar Bray came speeding past and took the lead. It wasn’t the fact that he would be going to Dantooine if his man lost this race. It was that fact that Tiberius didn’t like losing that bothered him.

Dinner? Emilia supposed she could afford it, considering that she didn't always get her credits legally. She was a slicer, after all, which meant that her sources of credits came from "various" places.

Then Tiberius' voice broke her concentration on the race again. He brought up her master again. It wasn't a question that begged much detail, at least. Still, each and every time her master was brought up, Emilia felt a pang in her stomach. She didn't like the feeling, but she pushed through it and combed her memories to give the other Jedi an accurate answer, "When I was around seven."

On the holoprojector Par began to move back and fourth, slowing down to avoid getting sniped by tusken raiders. It gave Emilia hope, and right when she felt that, Hess'tar Bray sped past Par, taking the lead again. Emilia, while keeping her stoic look, did feel a little excited at the turn of events. Maybe she would win, though she did continue to answer Tiberius' question,

"My master took me to his ship, and I only remember watching the Yavin temple vanishing in the distance. It was the last time I saw a temple."

With her explanation finished, Emilia watched as Hess'tar Bray continue to dominate the field, staying in the lead. Some time passed, then by chance or the Force, Hess'tar Bray crossed the finishing line. An explosion of cheers and confetti filled the arena. Emilia almost smiled. Almost.

It meant she'd managed to recruit a Jedi to her cause on Dantooine, assuming he'd keep his promise. One more step closer. One more step towards shaking the foundations of the Empire.

"So what are you ordering for us to eat tonight?" Emilia asked. He'd lost the bet, and she wasn't going to pay for his meal, so maybe she'd be lucky enough to get him to pay for hers.

Tiberius withdrew his hand. Evidently, Emilia was not big on shaking hands to seal deals. Something that Tiberius probably should have assumed given her history with not accepting other customs.

Tiberius heard the Sephi’s response to his question. *Seven?* he thought to himself. He did a quick calculation in his head. *So, she barely spent any time at the temple.* It was no wonder why the young woman was so disconnected from the Order. It was all starting to make sense now.

Tiberius did say much else. Beside, most anything else he would say on the topic was likely to be met with hostility. Instead, the knight watched the holoprojector. Things were starting to get intense. His man was falling behind. “That’s not fair” He stated, pointing at the image displayed by the holoprojector, as Par was getting shot at. There was still time for Par to catch up with Hess'tar Bray, but it was not meant to be. Hess'tar Bray crossed the finish line and the celebration on the holoprojector started for the victor.

The knight sighed, “Looks like you win this time.” He said to Emilia. It looked like Tiberius was going to Dantooine. When Emilia asked what he was going to order for dinner he turned to look at her with mock annoyance. His expression quickly changed to his normal, cheery appearance. “There’s a takeout place down the street. I can have them deliver here. What do you want?” He pulled out his com to call the restaurant and place their order. The Sephi was still in no condition to be walking the streets of Coruscant, especially here on the lower levels. He imagined that Emilia was just as hungry as he was. “I hear the General Kenobi Chicken is pretty good there.”

Emilia didn't flinch at Tiberius' mock-look, as if she called his bluff before he even made it. She let her eyes drift to the side, thinking about what she wanted to eat.

"General Kenobi Chicken will do," she answered after a few moments. It wasn't healthy, but it wasn't like she ate well very often anyway, which was probably an issue considering everything she got up to. Of course, because she got up to a lot and travelled constantly, it was hard to stay on a healthy, steady meal plan of any kind.

Though Emilia had gotten some strength back, she did begin to feel the weight of everything that had happened begin to settle over her body and mind. She was tired. Still, she managed to keep her eyes on the holoprojector for the time being. Hess'tar Bray was accepting his reward from a hutt, so she wasn't as engaged in the program.

"What do you like to watch?" she asked Tiberius, since it was her turn to ask a question. Usually such details about a person didn't interest her. There was nothing she could do with the information, but, there wasn't much she could right do now anyway.

Her body begged her to get more comfortable, so leaned back a bit more after asking the question, finding a slightly better spot for her sore body. Though she did her best to listen to Tiberius answer, Emilia gave into the heaviness of her eyelids, closing her eyes. Only for a moment, at least that was what she told herself. The moment turned into something much longer and soon the small sephi drifted off into sleep.

“General Kenobi Chicken it is.” Tiberius replied to Emilia’s order. He didn’t eat take out a lot, but it was hard to eat anything else when out on a mission, away from home. Tiberius had had his fair share of strange dishes, though. Like when he had visited the remote tribe on Felucia and they served Gelagrub brains. He couldn’t turn it down without insulting his hosts so he ate it. Surprisingly it was not bad.

He picked up his Com and called the restaurant to place their order. “It should be here in 10 minutes.” Said the knight as he finished the call. Emilia’s voice reached his ears again. This time she was asking what he liked to watch. He had to ponder this on for a moment. He didn’t watch much programming, but he did have one guilty pleasure. “Have you ever seen Heart in Stars?” Tiberius asked, but just as he finished his response he got a message saying their food was down stairs. “Foods here.” He states getting up from the chair. “I’ll be right back.” He hadn’t noticed the Sephi drifting off as he slid out the door.

Only a few minutes later Tiberius returned with a plastic bag containing two plastic containers with their food in them. As he entered the small room, though, he noticed that the white haired woman was sound asleep. “Hey.” Tiberius whispered. He didn’t necessarily want to wake the sephi, but he didn’t want her to miss out on dinner. “Hey.” He said again, but there was no response. He shrugged and sat down. He ate his food and placed Emilia’s in the mall refrigerator that was in the room. He walked over to the bed and pulled the covers up over the young woman. He turned out the lights and then took up his position in the chair beside the bed. He propped his feet up on the small coffee table and then began to drift off to sleep himself.

After a long rest, Emilia felt her eyes flutter open. It took a few seconds, and the neon lights of Coruscant to fill her eyes, to realize she'd fallen asleep. She reached over to the side table and took her datapad to check the time. She did some quick counting in her head and realized it'd been a long time since everything went down, so she guessed she got a good eight hours of sleep. Longer than usual.

Emilia decided to text a 'contact' and ask for a favour. She requested they brought her suitcase she'd stashed away with her other gear and they agreed. So, she changed some settings to alert her when her contact texted again. The small sephi put her datapad down after, pushed herself up, stood up from the bed and thankfully walked. It was nice to be mobile again, though her body let her know she wouldn't be fighting fit for awhile.

Before she got too far, she looked over at Tiberius, who was sleeping in the chair by the bed. A few memories of their talk about the Force rolled around in her mind, then she turned and went into the bathroom. She was still dirty from the day before, so Emilia disrobed, pulling off her shirt--the one that had been under her armour--up her lithe torso and over her breasts, tossing it aside then doing away with the rest of the outfit.

It was nice to feel the warm kiss of water as it glided down her body. Emilia soaked it in and took her time in the shower. Some time later the shower went off. The small sephi heard her datapad ding to alert her that her suitcase was at the front door. Though, at this point, Emilia didn't know if Tiberius was awake yet or not and walking around. So, she put her hair up into a bun, wrapped a towel around her body tightly then cracked open the bathroom door and leaned out, "Tiberius? I need you to get the package at the door. It's my clothing."

Tiberius had always been something of a light sleeper ever since he was a child. It was a blessing and a curse depending on the situation. He heard his fellow Jedi stirring in the bed beside him and it had awoken the knight to a kind of twilight state somewhere between sleep and wake. His eyes remained closed as he analyzed the noises around him. He knew that if he opened his eyes there wouldn’t be a chance to fall back asleep. He heard the sound of the Sephi’s small feet walking across the floor. He had forgot for a moment the events of yesterday and how she had been injured. The shower started and the knight remembered how injured the Sephi was the day before.

His eyes popped open and he stood from his position in the chair. He was about to rush to the bathroom to check on his friend, but then he thought better of it. *She’s probably fine. She can care for herself* He thought to himself, imagining a scenario where he had rushed into the bathroom out of concern and ended up without a head. He shuttered a little bit.

Memories of last night started to come back to him. Memories of how they had taken on a cult leader, bringing Emilia back here, and their conversations before falling asleep. Thinking of the previous day’s events reminded Tiberius of his own injury to his left shoulder. He looked down and saw the place where the blaster bolt had struck him. There was a small hole in his clothing and underneath was black where his flesh had been burned by the energy of the bolt. He touched the place. It was still a little sore, but He thought he would probably live.

There was a coffee maker in the room on a small table against one of the walls. He started a pot and then turned on the holoprojector while he waited for the coffee to brew. He turned it to the news, and he stood and watched it, he had been in that chair for a long time and standing felt good. A reported appeared on the screen and started to report on increased Mandalorian around the planet of Garos. *Another invasion?* Tiberius thought to himself. The Mandalorian had recently taken the planet of Lothal. The Mandalorians were becoming more aggressive.

The coffee finished and Tiberius walked over to poor himself a cup. He took his coffee with lots of cream and sugar. He actually didn’t like the taste of coffee, but it gave him the boost of energy that he needed in the mornings. He turned back to face the holoprojector and continue watching the news.

The shower turned off but it only vaguely registered with Tiberius. Then came a ding noise. This caught Tiberius attention and he turned in the direction of the noise. It seemed to have come from Emilia’s datapad. He started to walk over to it to see if he could tell what the notification was, but he was interrupted half way through his trek across the room by Emilia’s voice requesting that he retrieve a package that was outside the door.

Tiberius changed the trajectory of his journey and headed for the door. He opened the door up to see a suitcase sitting at his feet. There was no one else in the hall of doors. The knight bent down and picked up the package and brought it into the room, closing the door behind himself. He made the short trek to the bathroom door. There he saw Emilia’s face leaning out of a small crack between the wall and door. Her wet hair was pulled up into a bun and beads of water rolled down her face and neck. Tiberius extended his hand that held the Sephi’s suitcase. “Here ya go.” He said, averting his eyes slightly so as not to make Emilia uncomfortable.

Emilia stared intensely at Tiberius as he handed over her suitcase. Once he looked away, she carefully took the case handle and quickly brought the item into the bathroom. There she opened it up and finished freshening up. Her small body slipped into her white robes again, but she grabbed her gray cloak and folded it over her arm.

Her body still ached, and moving certain ways seemed more difficult than others, but she still felt refreshed and more comfortable being back in her robes. Once she existed the bathroom, Emilia placed the gray cloak on one of the hooks by the entrance. She'd use it to cover her white robes on her way out of the underworld. Once she was ready to leave, anyway.

A waft of freshly brewed coffee caught her attention when she turned around. It brought her small frame past Tiberius without saying anything, into the kitchen where she poured herself a big cup of black coffee. She didn't like coffee any other way. Well, injecting caffeine directly into her veins was probably more efficient, still, she mostly liked the taste of dark, bitter coffee.

The small sephi finally made her way to a chair and slowly sat, letting out a sigh of relief while her body relaxed again. Her purple gaze rose back up at the other Jedi once she had a moment to herself. Oddly, Emilia felt comfortable with him being around. He almost reminded her of Gatz, except, he wasn't as snarky. Lately, for some reason, her very honed, very refined skill of scaring people away seemed to be running into issues.

But a thought occurred to her, "It'll be several days before I'm recovered enough and ready to go to Dantooine." Emilia took a sip of her coffee. It went down smoothly. Perfectly hot and bitter like she liked it. "If you have anything to attend to, I suggest getting it done before we leave."

Though after her eyes lowered to the black liquid in her cup and she swirled it around for a moment, "By the way... Thanks for everything."

After Emilia disappeared back into the bathroom Tiberius returned to the main living area of the small room. He sat on the edge of the bed and finished his cup of coffee while watching the news. Emilia reappeared form the bathroom, now arrayed in her white robes. She made a beeline for the coffee without acknowledging Tiberius presence. Tiberius watched as she poured herself a nice big cup and began drinking it black. His face contorted with disgust quickly before returning to its natural state. He couldn’t understand how anyone could drink their coffee black like that.

As the Sephi settled into her chair Tiberius stated, “Well, you seem to be feeling better.” She was at least well enough to walk on her own and shower without assistance. This seemed like progress compared to last night where she seemed to be unable to move without pain. Tiberius felt the Sephi’s cold purple stare peering into his own eyes. Emilia answered Tiberius by telling him that it would be a few days before she was ready to travel to Dantooine and that he should attend to any matters that required his attention. The knight thought about it for a moment. The only thing that came to his mind that really needed tending to was a report he needed to send to the Order.

The purple eyes of the Sephi fell to the black liquid she held in her hands and she thanked the knight. Tiberius watched the woman for a moment. He observed her delicate hands swirling the coffee. He didn’t really know how to respond. A simple “You’re welcome” seemed somehow insufficient. Instead, he settled on “It’s no problem. I’m sure you would have done the same.” He actually wasn’t sure the Sephi would have done the same. For all he knew she might have left him for dead on that roof top had the roles been reversed.

There was a moment of silence between the two. Emilia seemed a bit pensive right now. Tiberius broke the silence. “Well, I suppose it’s my turn to get cleaned up. I hope you left some hot water.” Like Emilia, Tiberius still had remnants of yesterday on his person that he was eager to wash off. He stood from the edge of the bed where he had been sitting. Just then he remembered that he had picked up the Sephi’s lightsabers. He unclipped them from his belt and laid them on the bed. “I believe these are yours.” He walked over and picked up his own bag and began to walk towards the bathroom, but he turned around to face Emilia and jokingly said “Now, no peeking.” He then turned back around and disappeared into the bathroom.

He disrobed, letting his clothes fall onto the tiled floor. He looked at himself in the mirror, at the place where he had been shot. He touched it with his fingers. It still burned a little. “That’s gonna leave a scar.” He whispered to himself. He turned to the shower and turned the water on. Stepping into the shower he felt the warm liquid wash over him. He lathered up and wash himself from head to toe. Once he was finished he turned off the water and stepped out of the shower. Bathing was one of life simple pleasures in Tiberius mind. Every time he showered he felt like he came out a new creature. He put on his clothes and made his way back into the living area where he expected to find Emilia. “So what’s on the agenda today then?”

Emilia simply nodded when he replied to her thanks. Though she knew she shouldn't have any attachments, things had been different since her master left. Lately Emilia was letting her guard down from time to time, and something small was shifting in her. She wasn't sure if it was good or bad, but she'd protected Gatz and she couldn't pretend that she wouldn't protect Tiberius too.

Her deeper thoughts were interrupted by Tiberius placing her hilts on the bed, then making a joke. Emilia let out a soft "hrrmp" at him then looked down at her datapad again. As Tiberius went into the shower, Emilia did a little bit of work. She sent off some mail and texts and began to arrange things for their arrival on Dantooine.

After some time she found herself lost in her thoughts. What are their similarities? she thought to herself. Tiberius' voice rang from her right side, though it didn't snap her out of her stupor. The small sephi looked over to Tiberius, flicking her eyes up and down him once. Two humans, male, she concluded in her mind. She'd have to refine her skills with that information in mind.

"Agenda?" Emilia said with a couple blinks, once she moved onto what he'd said. She wasn't expecting Tiberius to stick around. "I was planning to get out of the underworld for awhile, to get some fresher air and go for a walk." she said in her plain voice.

She took one last sip from her coffee then stood, placing the empty cup on the counter while facing away from the Knight. "I heard there's a fair nearby and I want to walk past it..." she added in a softer voice than usual.

She turned back around and faced him. "So you can join me if you want, as long as we walk by the fair," she concluded. Since that was out of the way, Emilia went to the bed, grabbing and hooking her hilts back into their places on her belt. Something about it made her feel more complete and ready to get out of the hotel room.

Tiberius stood there for a moment after he asked his question to the white haired woman who sat in the chair. It was almost as though she had not heard him. He looked at her and he felt her eyes looking him up and down. He wondered what was going on in the logic of her mind. She broke the silence by asking “Agenda?” Tiberius nodded his head. It was almost like she hadn’t expected him to stick around. What was he supposed to do just leave her? Emilia should have known that Tiberius wasn’t one to up and leave. She had already tried to chase him off on multiple occasions but to no avail. Perhaps the Jedi was just too obtuse to take her hints.

The Sephi continued and stated her plans for the day. Her tone softened as she turned away and told him she wanted to go to the fair. This was not a tone the Tiberius was not used to hearing from Emilia. He wondered what it could mean. Maybe he way just reading too much into it. Internally he shrugged as the Sephi concluded telling him that he could join her if he wanted to.

It had been a while since Tiberius had been to a fair. “You just want to walk by it?” Tiberius ask. “Why not go to the fair?” It seemed silly just to walk by all the fun without participating in it. “C’mon. Are you ready?” He motioned for the Sephi to follow him as he turned to walk towards the door. “Let’s grab breakfast on the way. I think I saw a bakery that should be on our way.” The knight had made it to the door an waited to see if Emilia was following before exiting the room and then the building.
