BIOGRAPHY
Born into a clan she barely remembers, Riye was given to the A'den Kal at the tender age of three and they became her family - her brothers, sisters, and some she even considered her parents. Survival was not a luxury growing up in the A'den Kal though, you had to fight for it every day of your life and Riye fought hard. Every setback was a lesson, and every success was a gift from Kad.
It wasn't long after she was blooded that she lost her shield kin Marev in battle, but the darkness of that day was overshadowed by her very first vision of Kad. Her first glimpse at his will. Her first push down the path to becoming an Akaan Salyr - a war priest. She has never spoken of what she saw that day, but when the vision passed it was Srucayr who was there, at her side, at the right time and place as always to take her under his wing. She now travels the galaxy, searching for souls to convert and lost comrades to bring back into the fold.
Personality
Riye was raised by the A'den Kal to be a staunch traditionalist, and they did not fail. She is aggressive in battle, she's stubborn in purpose, and she is extremely religious. She also loves to roughhouse. Once she's set her mind on something she doesn't know when to give up, and she tends to swear up a storm when things don't go her way. She's also the most loyal friend you could ask for, and would gladly die for the sake of her comrades.
Skills
Despite her battle prowess, some of Riye's more admired skills are those that have nothing to do with combat. She can play the hallikset, a seven-stringed instrument with a hauntingly sweet sound, she is a tattoo artist, and she is adept at both gardening and herbology.
