BIOGRAPHY

Roxchelle is the poster girl of the InterGalactic Banking Clan. She was kicked into her current job position on short notice, when she was revealed as the successor of her father, Froridian Paradiya. But where Mr. Paradiya was a respected man in the sector, that at times used fear as a weapon to get what he wanted, Roxchelle is a light hearted and curious soul that actually has very little interest in any position of power. She only keeps it to protect the family name as the last Paradiya and because she feels that is what is expected from a woman of the elite standard.

As a result, Roxchelle is often used as the puppet of her superiors. She is very well aware of this and it displeases her greatly how she is so easily underestimated. Her Hapan genetics don’t help on the matter of giving her respect for anything than a pretty face. Or the fact that she used to have a quite spicy model career under the artist name of Goldie.

The death of Froridian was sudden and violent, and Roxchelle felt obliged to stop her boarding school accommodation to return home with haste. What awaited her was a new life she in no way had expected, nor wished for.

The many new informations were excruciating, and she had trouble separating lies from truth in the media. What exactly had happened in that half year she was gone? Why would the servants turn against her family all of sudden? Why would anyone murder a man that to Roxchelle always had been a kind and protective father figure. And why were body parts of one of the missing maids found in the wine cellar after her resignation?

Devoted to duty, Roxchelle gave up on any hope of breaking out of the cookie cutter life she had been raised and shaped for. She had a couple of options: A: Refuse the offer and face a life of potential poverty and a future much uncertain. And B: Hope that someone influential would ignore the scandal and ask for her hand. Then live a predictable life of a trophy wife without much diversion. Critical of the first idea and doubtful of the second, Roxchelle agreed to take the position in the IGBC.

2 years have passed, and Roxchelle dreams for the day her life will become a fairytale. Or that someone would abduct her away from her mundane reality and the uncomfortable thoughts that lure, if she enters Froridian’s study. At least then something interesting would happen.

Surrounded by now empty hallways, Roxchelle feels just as lonely as they are deserted. Many of her contacts are like the paintings on her wall: Material and without much depth. After the murder, very few people have agreed to work in the huge penthouse, some believe it is cursed. Except for one loyal soul, Roxchelle’s maid Nancy, that had worked as substitute mother for her, when Mrs. Syrella Paradiya died during childbirth.

Roxchelle indulges herself in cocktail parties, networking opportunities and hunt endorphins in risqué escapades with different men. Despite much heartbreak and failure, she stubbornly tries to stay optimistic in her hunt for happiness. It must be there somewhere. Probably between the designer hand bags and the next business card.

If her Voorpak would stop eating them

Well, it is probably for the best.

Personality

Roxchelle has been carried through most of her life without much hardship and difficulties. In fact, it was first when she lost the safety blanket in the shape of her father that a central part of her plans changed, and a more disturbing picture began emerging, as more and more puzzle pieces slide into place.

The upbringing of a noble makes her very privileged in many ways.
She has this poetic view of the world and is quite a hopeless romantic. Not because she is naive and doesn’t know evil, but simply because she chooses to ignore it as a survival technique.
She is spoiled, stubborn and used to get what she wants. When refused, Roxchelle can play dumb or toy around to get things her way. She is a deeply caring person, and it was almost a sport for her family to donate for charity, but it may cling hollow or misunderstood. After all, new shoes can’t feed the starving.

Roxchelle wishes to stand tall as the best example of what an elite has to offer, and while she truly enjoys that world, she also finds it limiting, as she has a wild side to her, that feels trapped within the confines of the gilded cage. And she holds it back with many of her opinions, for she knows if she speaks of them in the wrong crowd, it will have consequences.

Appearence

Roxchelle’s mother was a Hapan, and it shows. Roxchelle's proportions are parallel to that of the golden ratio, making her a very pleasant being to look at.

She is not a woman that is intimidating at first glance, at least not when it comes to physical strength and power, for she is rather petite and elegant, with a musculature that is built for flexibility and speed, rather than raw strength. No, it is more the haunting details that makes her linger, often long after someone has seen her. Like all Zelosians, Roxchelle's eyes are an intense emerald green that is found in no other humanoid species, due to chlorophyll. Her curly hair reaches her waist and is orange, and her skin has a light tan. If someone focuses on her smile, they will see fangs in both her upper and lower maw. And her stiletto nails are a shape that match.

Roxchelle wears little make-up. She simply doesn’t need it. Mostly she wears a bold signature lip in reds or coral shades and mascara. She loves jewellery, and favours expensive statement pieces. Fashion is important to her, and her walk-in closet consists of outfits for any occasion. Most are quite girly.
