Saeryl slowly nodded. This was a lot to take in - it still wasn't making complete sense to her. But she didn't want to look like a moron, so she pretended she knew exactly what he meant.

"Oh, I see. So they're like siamese twins who were surgivally seperated at birth and then given to parents who lived on oppposite sides of the galaxy and neither knows that they're related?"

Alright, so maybe her analogy was really out there, but it served her purposes - it sounded like she knew what she was talking about. At least she hoped it did.

"You somwhat get the picture," he said with a chuckle. "I know this is hard to digest, and I'm not exactly the kind of guy you'd want to hear it from, but I felt you deserved an explaination about the guy who saved Lane. Trust me, I know Lane. And I've seen Karasym at work. Both are nasty fighters, stronger than most people I've ever met, but I feel like you might be involved in this as well. It's best to give you somewhat of an understanding so you don't head in there without a clue period," he said as he stood. "One more thing, if you ever do run into Karasym, run. Don't fight, run. Lane can't even win, but he won't kill him. He will kill you though. Just some advice. That's all I wanted to speak with you about," he said. He hoped she would go to Lane to get him to explain better, but it was up to her if she was curious enough. He needed to head to a meeting with other politicians, though. He sighed, as it was tiring work.

Saeryl considered the count for a few more moments, then simply nodded.

"Very well, Sir. Thank you for the advice and warning. I won't take any more of your time."

She turned and took her leave, waiting until she was outside the room and the door was closed before she stopped and glanced back over her shoulder, thinking about everything the Count had just said to her. Why was it that everyone here felt the need to treat her with kid gloves? She sighed, then turned and went in search of the mess hall - it had been quite a while since she had eaten, so the first thing to do would be finding some food.

Lane was in his room, meditating and searching for reasons to the unexplainable. He was lost in thought, and unable to see his own future. It was scary to him, but perhaps it was for the better. He didn't want to be like Jedi, who try to fix the vision and end up causing it.

His eyes then opened. He felt as though there was someone or something else in the room with him, though he saw nothing. It was a dark pressence, but not threatening. He got up and searched around the room, looking for anything out of the ordinary until he opened a footlocker. Inside, lying on some clothes and boots, was a red diamond shaped holocron. who the hell snuck into my room? he thought, picking up the holocron. Immediately, images flashed of several Jedi, Bogan, and nuetral Jedi rapidly. Finally, he saw an image of himself. The image was different though.

Instead of an exact copy, this image was a darker image. It was angrier, filled with rage and hatred. His eyes were glowing red in the irises. Lane blinked and then backed away, leaving the holocron to float in midair. It was an image of Karasym. He was nervous for a moment that is was actually him, but it wasn't. Lane already knew they were connected and such, but he didn't understand why it was doing this.

"The answers will be revealed soon enough," the image said, then faded as the holocron fell to the floor. He put it back into the footlocker and headed to the cantina. He needed a drink.

Saeryl was sitting and eating when Lane walked in, and was surprised to see him in the Cantina at all. Didn't he usually go to the officer's kitchen? She watched him quietly as he ordered a drink, then would stand and 'sneak' over until she was behind him. She did her best to mask her presence in the force until she was beside him, and then she slammed her hand down on the bar, hoping to startle him.

"Well now, what's got you so down that you need to drink it away, I wonder?"

Lane jumped as the hand smacked the bar, then chuckled. "You're good," he said. "I'm not so down as I am wierded out. Things are getting complicated right now. It's good to relieve stress sometimes, you know?" He said with a smile. Her power had grown some, that was certain.

Saeryl grinned at him, then turned and rested her back against the bar, head turned to look at him still. She considered him quietly for a few moments, then looked away as she spoke.

"Yeah, that Count sure is a weird one. I can see how having to spend lots of time around him would be stressful."

She glanced sidelong at him, then looked away to hide a grin. Ok, so maybe she was just teasing him, but it was really his fault for being so glum! She was just doing her part to lighten the mood.

"He sure did seem obsessed with you 'pinning' me, for some reason. I think he has the hots for me."

She looked back to Lane, unable to completely keep the grin off her face.

"Or maybe he has the hots for you..."

"Get out of here," he said with a playful nudge on her arm. He couldn't help but chuckle. "We've been through a lot, and he may have the hots for you. You are an attractive girl, you know," he said with a wink as he took another gulp of his drink. He tipped the bartender droid to fill him up again.

Saeryl let out a giggle, then brought her hand up to nudge him back. That hand then came down and stole his drink right after the droid filled it up - while she distracted him with another verbal jab.

"Careful now, or I might start thinking that -you- have the hots for me."

If she succesfully stole his drink with that she would down it in one gulp, then set the cup back in his hand with an oh-so-sweet-and-innocent smile.

"Don't drink too much," he said as ke snatched the drink back. He nodded for the droid to get her one. "It gets to your head. Besides, if I had the -hots- for you, I would've already tried to make a move," he put the drink up to his mouth and let it wash down his mouth like a waterfall. In truth, he did find her attractive, but he didn't know exactly how well that would go over. They were close, at least he thought so, but she was an NCO2 and he wasn't entirely sure how well that would look with the rest of Luminado. He would fiercely defend her from personal attacks no matter what though. It was his protective nature, lover or not, to those he cared about.

Saeryl reached for the new drink offered by the droid, then brought the glass up to clink lightly against Lane's.

"You shouldn't be so quick to protest. I think I saw a play once which said that was just another way of agreeing."

She grinned at him before bringing her cup up for a sip. Apparently she wasn't going to let him off easy at all tonight - she was a cruel one. She considered the drink for a few moments, then looked back at Lane.

"Alright, I won't drink too much then. So, what's next, anyways? Do I get to go explore more goron-infested jungles, or do you have something even more exciting in mind?"

Perhaps our adventures may be in more unexplored planets, and perhaps not. I'm thinkin' we should relax the rest of the day. It's been fairly exciting, and I wouldn't mind going to see a play later. You wanna come?" He asked, looking over at her as he leaned his back on the bar and crossed his legs. He took another large gulp from his drink. A play sounded nice to him, though. It'd be good to get his mind off of things and relax for once.

Saeryl raised her eyebrows slightly, then grinned again and nodded.

"Yeah, the rest of the day off sounds like a good idea. I didn't mean that we need to set off immediately for whatever's next. I mean, that is if you're going with me on the next mission. I know your time's valuable."

She set her cup down, the contents mostly gone, and waved the driod away before it could refill it. She slowly looked over at Lane, her eyes giving him a slow blink as they looked into his.

"Are you asking me out on a date, Lane?"

A grin played at the corner of her lips, but she did her best to hold it back. Lane was just too fun to tease, she couldn't help herself.

"If you want to call it that. I was saying you could come along if you wanted, is all," Lane said. He looked into her eyes, then finished his drink and set the cup down. He let a half smile creep on his face and then winked.

"So what's it gonna be?" He asked.

Saeryl grinned back at him, then shrugged her shoulders lightly and looked away from him.

"Alright, I'll go. But you're paying."

She nodded, then stood up from leaning on the bar.

"Is this a formal play? I mean, do I need to get dressed up to fit in or is this alright?"

"Whichever you want. I'm going to be wearing something nice because I can, but I'm sure there's going to be plenty of people wearing casual clothes. You're fine with whichever," he said. He stood up and left a few credits on the bar for the droid.

Saeryl shrugged lightly. She didn't really care what she wore - if casual clothes were fine then she'd just wear the uniform she was in now. She had spent the time to make it immaculate anyways, no sense in wasting that.

"Alright. Well I'm ready to go whenever."

"Let's go then," he said walking out of the cantina. He made his way through the base, assuming she was following him. The sun was setting and the shies were getting darker, the automatic lights turning on to create a beautiful scenery in some areas. In many places, lights were left alone and natue was free to grow in it's own way, creating bioluminescent plants which glowed uniquely of their own color.

The theatre entrance led to a gigantic underground sphere with rows of seats all on the walls, and the stage was in the middle, whether it be floating or on the bottom level. They had gotten there thirty minutes early before the next play, a habbit on Lane's part. He watched as a few other audience were taking their seats, and long, glowing, blue ribbins were floating around the giant casm. It was a beautiful scenery, in his opinion.

Saeryl followed along quietly, memorizing the way in case she needed to leave alone or wanted to come back later. She hadn't been to the theatre before - actually she hadn't even known that it existed. She looked around as they walked inside and then to their seats, and once seated would turn to look at Lane.

"The base looks nice when the sun's setting, you know?"

"I kinda let my artistic side go rampant when the base was being refurbished," he said with a chuckle. "But I'm glad you like it. There's a lot of places for nature, both light and dark, are allowed to grow freely. It's so the force can echo through the base and become immense."

The play then started. Music began to play, not too loudly, but enough to hear. Two twi'lek dancers spun in circles like they were drawn to each other, while the ribbons began to spin and create a sphere. The two actors entered the stage, saying their lines which became more quiet as they reached Lane and Saeryl. The play was a fabled story of a Jedi and a Dark Jedi who were brothers, fated to collide and have one last final dual over one woman who they both were madly in love with.

"Enjoying the dome theatre so far?" He asked.
