He fired and she held the creature in place as Siph leapt up and his jaws clamped down on the creature's neck. She saw one of claws of the creature catch the wolf in the side, its white fur turning red with the cut.

But the other creature had it worse. It was quickly dying as its throat was torn open. Renfry took a gasping breath as she watched her friend limping away from the fight. She dropped down to the floor below, examining the wolf and his injuries.

We'll get you help, friend, she said quietly. She turned back to look at Venthis.

Thank you for your help, but we'll have to look at the gun site a different day, she said. He had already provided a huge amount of help in planning and preparing the defenses of the world.

You're welcome to one of the rooms in the palace if you'd like, she offered, though she didn't know if he would want to stay on the world. @Morse

The adrenaline raced in Habrak following the brief battle with the creature. He had not anticipated the need to draw his weapon on this trip, and was controlling his breathing through his nose. It was a lot to take in, but such was the nature of the galaxy. Harsh violence was the only thing that the natural world fully understood, and the mechanical mastery of the Sith Eternality would be the winner of the day.

Venthis Habrak holstered the weapon as he watched the Dark Lady approach her companion. She had an attunement with the creature that was absolutely impressive, and in that moment his eyes likely gave away his admiration for her evident power.

"That suits just as well." Habrak replied to looking for a cannon position. It was quite the strain, and it may have been more appropriate for him to go out with a team and a security detail next time, rather then risk her safety again.

Habrak nodded at the offer to stay in the palace. It was not an invitation that had ever been granted to him before. Though he was just as content returning to his ship. The last thing he was looking to do was offend his host, the Dark Lady of the Sith.

"If it pleases, my Lady. I will stay." Venthis Habrak would leave that option with her. He was sure there was work to be done, and he had learned much from this experience.
