As Kyte gently jogged, and bounded over the war torn area, he was surprised at how much was actually intact, and how much wasn't. Everywhere lay cars, lorries, containers, but right next to them would be an utterly burnt out chassis, or a pile of brick that once was a wall or building.
What really got him though, was that weird feeling, that had gotten stronger and stronger since moving away from the group. Well, perhaps everything else had just gotten quieter, but that was neither here nor there.
It felt like he was being watched, and not in the conventional sense. In the sense that he could feel the watchers. Almost see them, in the corners of his eyes, though his H.U.D remained devoid of life. It was worrying, either his scanners were broken, or he was. He wasn't sure which was worse...
