Open to anyone, focusing on finding a slicer/tech specialist to look into S-thread booster technology. PvP is a possibility if it makes sense. Will switch to Ask if enough people join

The world between the Sith Empire and the Independent Systems Consortium had already been fought over by the Jedi and Sith. Kotii did not see any point in trying to make the world a Mandalorian haven yet. Instead he was on the planet looking for a slicer among other things. Recent findings told the Black Hand that the Galactic Empire had once possessed a super effective hyperwave buoy in secret. The use of such technology would be invaluable for his efforts and those of his comrades if they wanted to have secret hyperspace routes of their own.

Sullust was also the headquarters of SoroSuub if memory served. Their ship builders and brain trust could be valuable to reach out to if he had the time. The Alor in exile was dressed in his bounty hunting Beskar'gam. The armor plates were predominantly red with black. A series of orange bar like tally marks were painted along the left side of the man's helm above the visor and circled around to the middle back of the helmet. The markings represented the twelve kids he and Reiel had saved and the color orange to remind him that life was more than just surviving. It was worth truly living otherwise it would be an existence of suffering of nothing but. The echani offshoot made decisions not just for himself, but in the hopes of a better tomorrow for his descendants. He wouldn't wear the Jaig Eyes on this set, but he would proudly keep his son and the others he rescued close to his heart and always in mind.

The black painted gauntlets were the same as the last time Mysha had checked them. It seemed like ages ago that slice of bliss had come and gone. By now, his enhanced cybernetic left hand was working better than ever before and guided the Bevrag'ad in for a landing. The quick jump to the Sullust system was thanks to the badger's knowledge of smuggler routes. Thanks to his interest in hunting down any and all traffickers of sentient life forms, the man had come to learn even more about traveling the hidden ways of the galaxy. The Incisor Sidestep for example, allowed the Mandalorians in the Anoat system to easily travel to the volcanic planet if they wanted to. However, Kotii was traveling alone onboard the custom lancer class patrol craft today. Traveling in numbers would only attract attention and a lone Mandalorian drew enough even when being discrete.

The badger made sure to wipe the navigation computer as an extra measure, the Mandalorian affixed his armaments to his person. Closing his code locked arms vault, Kotii left his ship with his standard bounty hunting gear. The expectation was to talk to a slicer in a local cantina. The Floodwall was the name of the establishment and for a bit Kotii wondered why. The building was part distillery and marketed 'Floodwall fire', a series of burning whiskies that had spice flavorings mixed in. Spectre special was the day's drink of choice and it even came with a straw. The mandalorian walked up to the counter while surveying the area. "Spectre special." He ordered the drink rather directly, knowing he would have some eyes on him.

The colorfully dressed Sullustan bartender took the time to mix together the cocktail and shaking it momentarily before pouring the contents into a chilled glass. Scooting it across the counter with a sense of wariness. The badger produced a fair amount of credits, five times more than needed for the drink to be paid for. "I'm looking for an astro-navigation specialist. Would you mind pointing me in the direction of any regulars that might specialize in starship computers?" A pause followed as the amount would only be noticeable to anyone immediately nearby. His voice wasn't loud either and could only be heard by the bartender to the point that the Sullustan leaned forward a little to hear over the sound of ambient music. He nodded before replying. "Ya I might have someone coming in for a game of cards later tonight. You have more where that came from? I could get you in on it."

The question gave the man a moment's pause. His head turned to look over his shoulder. Any other patrons would know he was aware of them but more specifically, the man tried to scope out any card sharks. He was nothing special when it came to gambling. But Kotii had come prepared with his own personal funds. "Money isn't an issue." He replied flatly. The bartender nodded his head and then motioned towards the rest of the cantina. "Well then, please put your boots up and relax. This is a safe place for the technologically inclined. Let me know if I can get you anything else."

Taking the beverage in his right hand, the Hunter walked over to a booth and sat to face the door. Before he sat down the sharp shooter unslung his rifle and set it beside him in the booth. While he waited, Kotii pulled out his datapad and looked over the specs for the hailfire droid brains. His eyes remained ever vigilant on the rest of the comings and goings of the cantina patrons while he waited. There wasn't much he knew about the droids except how to disable them. Maybe he would get lucky and find someone who knew a thing or two about reprograming and modifying such warmachines.

Muse
IC: Elms would not be known by anyone, other than by the Alias, Raizen
An interesting call had been put out across the Holo-Network, on the back ends of relay chats and encrypted messages -- someone was looking for a Slicer. Elms' had an expertise in technology, he traded it in it, and information was power. The Sith Agent had operated within the Outer Rim under the guise of Raizen, a slicer and data-broker. Nothing he carried gave away that he was a member of a vast Imperial Network that operated outside the confines of Sith Space.

Elms would step into the cantina wearing a standard Duster, his hair had been swept a bit to the side and he wore a dark set of shades that obscured his eyes from those around him. He'd make his way towards the bar, taking a seat and looking towards the Bartender. "Corellian Ale," he'd say in an accent that would hint towards an origin from Nar Shaddaa.

He'd turn towards the armored figure who was gazing towards his Datapad. "Twenty years ago you'd have been able to purchase one of those devices for half the cost. The Free World Alliance and the Republic have faced punitive measures to try and keep up with the Consortium's economy."

He'd reach for his drink, taking a sip. "In reality, I think it's just a ploy for the Galaxy's Manufacturers to consolidate power and money. They're using the pandemic and the labor shortages as an excuse to impose higher transport costs on the little guy -- martial law at its finest."

His face was stone cold and neutral as he said these odd things, not seeming to care if the man thought it to be weird. At least the bartender was nodding along -- it didn't always have to be true for people to listen.

Cas was here on business, having come to Sullust through the back channels, for the back channels, as any bounty hunter might. Her business had just been concluded, part of it anyway, as the Mandalorian marched from the restroom back into the cantina proper.

Ever since that fiasco on Mandalore, where one fool of a Mandalorian had shown up drunk out of her face, and other foolish Mandalorians had gunned down one of their own, well, Casany Praxor had vowed to never drink again.

Back in her corner booth, the liquid in her glass was clear, and while once upon a time it would have been vodka it was just water right now. She had guzzled it no less, returning to a glass half empty or full, whichever worked.

Her Sullustan counterpart faced the wall behind her while Cas faced the rest of the floor, though her visored eyes were on him, peering into them from behind the unyielding darkness of her helm.

“So, you were saying?” The Mandalorian asked the infobroker.

“I was saying that Peech-Weech left this cantina some hours ago. But, if you want your bounty badly enough, float some more creds my way and his present location is all yours.”

Sighing, Cas hated this game as much as loved it, floating chips across the tabletop. Her contact spilled the beans, got up and carried his vodka with him. Good riddance.

With that, the Mandalorian lifted her glass in one hand and rested her other arm across the seat of her booth. Having little else to do right now, she looked around the cantina, spotted an obnoxiously overweight Zeltron, a dude in a duster, and… I’ll be damned…is that Black Hand?

The black T visor of the Mandalorian didn't shift as the duster clad stranger entered the cantina. Kotii was trying to calculate how fast he could have the True Mandalorian brothers and sisters outfit the Hailfire droids with ion cannons when the new patron began speaking to him. The man had eyed what was on his device and presumed it to be his business to comment on. Black Hand's head steadily turned to center on the man, tilting slightly as if to communicate he was curious as well as a bit bothered but the man continued, not noticing or not caring. All his words earned him a silent stare from the badger as if waiting for an explanation for the assumption he should be starting a conversation with the Hunter.

The walking form of comrade drew the badger's attention. If he wasn't mistaken, his eyes alone, tracked Casany Praxor make her way across the cantina to a corner booth to take care of some business of her own. Maybe he would greet her later or perhaps she had already noticed him.

Turning off the datapad, Kotii would then unseal his helmet. With practiced ease, hooked the tip of the straw beneath his black cloth mask and take a sip all without ever taking off his helmet. The spectre special was tasty but the man only drank enough to wet his whistle while he waited. The volume level of his drink only slightly lower by the time he set it back down.

"You sound like you know a lot about these things." He finally said to the man in the duster. The red and black armored Mandalorian turned in the booth so that his back was to the wall. Kotii figured the stranger was some kind of smuggler or ne'er do well who was looking for work. Black Hand was fine hearing him out if he had something worth saying, but if he was going to talk economics at the Mandalorian he shouldn't be surprised if the badger found it boring. Besides, he wanted to say hello to Casany so maybe that would be a good excuse to leave the stranger at the bar with his thoughts.

It had been a while since Adenn had been in Public. And not since the Events on Mandalore had he removed his helmet, even among other Mandalorians it was clear he wasn't free from taking a Blaster bolt to the face. And he had vowed since last dawning his armor again that no one would see his face until the Mand'alor broke the alliance with sith or that he was killed. He entered the Cantina and quickly found his Friend, Casany, by her armor of gold and red. Being on business, of course, she was Anvil. He approached and place a hand gently onto her shoulder and gave a silent nod to her as he caught her attention. He wasn't much a man for words anymore, Not like he was. The pain in his jaw from the burned bones and wounded neurons had persisted despite the help of the Force sensitive Ewok. He took no medication for it, like his burns from before, it fueled his determination and drew a form of strength when he focused on it. caught a glimpse of the black hand as well, the badger stuck in some kind of Dealing or drink with a stranger, not that Adenn particularly cared. He began making his way over to the Badger, to perhaps save him from his... friend

Well, suddenly Sullust seemed to be a Mandalorian reunion. The universe was funny like that, pulling together three vods like these, so not just mere men and a woman of Mandalore. Not anymore.

Adenn Rytt, a man of few words, and no judgment there. He and Casany did not need to utter just one word to hear what the other one was saying. He nodded, she nodded back, visor to visor, and Adenn moved along.

For Anvil’s part, her business had already concluded, so she lifted the bottom of her helmet just enough to place the rim of her glass between lips and downed the water. Then she rose.

Following her brother, the pair arrived at their other. Cas had fought beside Kotii before. Before we ever needed to call ourselves True Mandalorians. A time when we and every other Mandalorian simply…was.

Sure, it would be a sight to see, three bucketheads at a bar, and there was a joke in there somewhere as they gathered at the same booth. Casany, Anvil, Casanvil, whoever and whatever she was, she stood and gave a nod in greeting to Solus.

“Mind if I sit?” She didn’t wait, settling into a spot opposite Kotii, tilting her head to him and Adenn. “So, are all three of us bounty hunters here for the same job or what?”

The T visor featuring helmet resealed around Kotii's head and was audible during the relative silence of the moment. The stranger did not reply so must have thought twice about continuing the conversation with Black Hand. The Mandalorian's visor panned towards the armored form of Casany Praxor.

Another individual entered the establishment and met Casany. Kotii recognized Adenn Rytt's armor and had not seen him since checking on his bacta tank. He was glad to see the man was up. He squashed any thoughts of suggesting the man return to a medical facility or take it easy. If such a thing was said to Kotii, and he were in Adenn's shoes he would have probably punched whomever gave the suggestion.

When the duo crossed the cantina and came to the Hunter's booth, Kotii gave a nod of his head to each of them but did not move to stand from his seat. "Su cuy'gar, ner'vode." He said to both of them.

"I'm not here on a hunt, not for the Guild anyway." The dark expressionless face of the Solus's T visor turned only slightly, double checking that nobody was giving the three Mandalorians any undue attention. The echani offshoot was glad the music was loud enough that nobody not at the table would hear them. Plus, their helmet also kept their lips from being read. <"Is that what you two are here for?">

For a moment his eyes drifted back between Adenn and Casany. Kotii liked to think he was a good judge of character. But the man also liked to tease people from time to time. <"Wait...were you two on a date?"> The cheekiness of his tone at that question came through clearly. He meant it as a half joke. Underneath he grinned slightly at the question, regardless of what answer would come. Maybe it would just make things a bit fun.

That Kotii Solus, Black Hand, was not here on a hunt only made Casany Praxor all the more interested in why the former was here. True, it was a cantina, but a cantina on Sullust no less. Had she no helmet over her head, he would just then have seen a cocked eyebrow.

It was a pretty thing, that Mandalorian helmet, that T-shaped visor. The latter came in different forms, some truly T-shaped, straight, others more Y-like, and those like Casany’s more like winged eyes with a nasal guard.

To anyone not sitting at that table, however, they would simply see three helmets turning this way, tilting that way, nodding or shaking, and it was enough to make Cas chuckle if no other. Truth be told, she was laughing just as much at Kotii’s sense of humor.

It was only natural that Adenn and Casany had sat together on the same side of the booth to greet a comrade on the other side. Practical, too, and Cas was not one to sit on the bench when it came to playing games.

So, naturally, she wrapped her arm around Adenn’s neck and pulled him close. “Are we that obvious?” Her helmet tipped toward his. If helmets could kiss then theirs were. “I do love a man with scars and this one has a few.”

Whether Adenn had had enough or not, Cas released him and squared her gaze on the other man at the table. “So do you. If you’re not here on a bounty hunt then what is it you are hunting?”
