Kashyyyk, home of the walking carpets, rather commonly known as wookies. Sturdy built, wookies were the ideal workers for people who wanted a job done cheaply.
And that's when the slavers come in. Generally, they sneak onto the planet, nab some wookies, and make off. However, recently, one gang of slavers decided to make brave. They made an outpost on Kashyyyk and began shipping off wookies by the village. Some wookies tried to rebel but that was quickly silenced by the arrival of paid mercenaries assigned to protecting the slavers 'investments'.
And so the Senator of Kashyyyk contacted the Jedi Order for assistance. Rehni Feher Tak'n, Haven Magnus, Zolotoy Tsivets were assigned to free the remaining wookie slaves and stop the operation. As to avoid being detected by any allies to the slavers, Zolotoy conned his brother into getting them a backside transport onto the planet. The only downside was that the supply ship landed in a colony two miles from their destination. Zolotoy was the first to exit the ship.

Kashyyyk. Haven had only ever had the chance to visit the planet once before this, though one of her previous padawans had been trained by a force-faction here before joining the Jedi. And now here she was, with a fellow Jedi knight and her own padawan, setting foot on the Wookiee planet once again. Unfortunately, this would be no leisure trip, the Jedi have been asked to deal with the escalating slavery on Kashyyyk, where the Wookiees are being exploited. Haven was glad that there were others with her for this mission, for they have no idea as to what they would be facing.

All they knew was that these slavers were formidable, being far more organised and well equipped compared to the previous group. Haven found slavers to be some of the most despicable scum in the galaxy. Taking advantage of another being’s freedom was monstrous. May everything sort itself out without the requirement of a violent intervention... Haven sighed to herself, taking the first step of her return to Kashyyyk. it was most likely that their direct involvement would be required, the slavers had set up a defensive formation, where the wookiees had been captured and held there for the time being.

The Jedi were to free these wookiees, though the process would be less than simple. Navigating their way towards the slavers would likely prove to be challenge, and Kashyyyk’s natural lifeforms were hardly the type you would pat on the head. And then, of course, the slavers themselves. ”Well.” Haven chuckled while shaking her head. ”Here we are!” Turning to face her fellow Jedi, Haven wondered if they held any previous experience of kashyyyk, as any extra bit of information would help their assignment.

"knight Tak’n." Haven spoke politely, giving the woman slightly younger than him a small nod. ”Have you ever had any business here before?” Likewise to Zolotoy, Haven gave him a smile and a raised eyebrow, silently posing the same question.

"My brother Nol has but I have not," said Zolotoy, answering Haven's silent question. "He told me that it's a place where there's a good reason to be afraid of what's in the shadows. Apparently the natives aren't all to civil to outsiders, due to mistrust brought on by years of slavery."

"So we are out on a whim in that case!" Haven laughed. "The wookiees shouldn't be a problem, at least they will recognise our Order. Nevertheless, the Katarns and kinrath will obviously not be so kind."

With no guide of any sort in sight, they only had a loose idea of where the slavers would be. "No point in wasting any more time then i guess." She said, peering into the the darkness that formed the forest around them. Haven would take a bit more equipment than usual, it was better to be prepared for what might come up than be utterly mal-equipped.

Having checked her gear, Haven did not turn her torch on, in the event that there were slavers closer to them than expected. Better to have the element of surprise with you as opposed to not having it.

"Thankfullys we hasing the Force to alerting danger." said Rehni, she closed her eyes slowly before opening them again in the dark, her world changed as she wanted the Force allowing her to see. "Slavers picking ofing the weak, closers to smaller Wookie clans withing lesser protection, biggering vulnerabilities." rationed the Knight. "Strays-ings from biggering cities and Wookie clans."

The shuttle ramp slowly lowered itself to reveal the interior of outpost 4-A, or as Ardricular Dagonet called it, Red Carpet Station. Before him stood several armed men standing at attention, and as Dagonet walked down the ramp one of them walked up to him. "Welcome sir, so kind of you to drop by." Berqess Zolitov, chief of security at outpost 4-A, was a very large, muscular man that demanded nothing but the utmost discipline from the men stationed at the outpost.

"Commander Strall is waiting for you in the staff room."

"Oh? He couldn't take the time to welcome me personally?"

"He says he doesn't want to leave the monitors for even a second, sir."

Dagonet's only response to this was a silent chuckle. He knew the real reason Strall had not welcomed him personally.

Berqess led Dagonet to a small building in the center of the walled facility. It was the type of building that could be built quickly and still function efficiently. Parting with Berqess at the door, he entered to find Strall pacing in front of the staff room monitors. He gave a start at the sound of the door closing. Dagonet took off his fur coat and set it on one of the chairs at the meeting table before sitting on the table itself, as was his custom. His permanent smile seemed all the more empty as he glared at Strall from behind his solar nullifiers. Strall smoothed back his hair with a shaking hand before speaking.
"Sir! A pleasure to see you again after all this time! I'm sorry I couldn't welcome you to the outpost personally, but as you can see I'm terribly bus-"
Dagonet leaned his head back and laughed, "It's a bit late to try to look competent, Strall."

Strall gulped, "Sir, I understand you're upset, I made you look bad, but the Hutt's won't give a damn about it once they receive the newest shipment!"
He indicated one of the monitors. It showed a view of a caged area, within the cage were several dozen Wookies. "There are at least three times the quota, and many of them are some of the finest Wookies I've seen!"
Dagonet smiled, "I don't give half a s*** what some slug thinks about my services, I've made enough money to retire a hundred times over. The problem is..." He stood and walked directly up to Strall, his towering figure looming over him, "I can't leave my legacy in the hands of people like you."
He gave a quick laugh before walking up to the monitors.
"First you fail to die properly along with the other board members at SSI, and now you somehow managed to screw up a shipment of carpets."
He faced Strall, "You're certainly building yourself quite a record."
"There was an uprising, sir, there was no way I could make the shipment on time."
"Wookies are overall compassionate creatures, I told you to use that against them. Why didn't you just threaten to torch one of their villages?"
"Because we couldn't back it up. There's no way we could do such a thing without attracting unwanted attention!"
Dagonet gave a long laugh, "Fearing for your life, Strall?"
Strall hesitated before answering, "Of course not, my only concern is in your enterprise's well being."
"My enterprise has no need for someone like you in its following, Strall."
He turned once more to the monitors and his eyes fell on one in a lower corner. It showed a feed of the area's surrounding the compound for many miles, and as it flashed past one of the shots, Dagonet spotted a small group of people, not Wookies, but people. He peered closer and saw a gleam from the hip of one of the individuals, the gleam came from the shiny hilt of a lightsaber. "Jedi?". It switched monitors again and the people were out of sight.
"S-sir?"

Dagonet picked up his fur coat and walked toward the door. "I'm going to be staying here for a bit longer." As he walked outside he turned to one of the guards standing by the door. "Have a room made out for me." As the guard ran off Strall called to Dagonet, "Is there anything you want me to do sir?"
Dagonet continued to walk on as he said, "I'm giving you one more chance, Strall. Do whatever you want."

And with that the door closed.

Strall didn't know about the newest visitors to the planet, as Dagonet had not bothered to tell him. His face split into a sinister grin as he contemplated what sort of entertainment he would be receiving.

Zolotoy took out three radios.
"I stole these from my brother," said Zolotoy. "They should have a secure channel on them, considering how paranoid he is. So, what's the plan? It's getting dark. Do we camp for the night or do we press on?"

"i suggest we move on." Haven said, taking one of the radios. "Staying here only makes us vulnerable, and it' best to get this done as quickly as possible. The more time we spend getting to the outpost is time that the slavers have to move the captured wookiees or to find our presence here."

She turned towards Rehni, whose speech patterns were rather humorous but delightful to hear. "What do you think?" Haven asked, smiling. "The sooner we get to the outpost the more time we have there to consider our next move."

Rehni's attention had drifted elsewhere, the Force often did that to her at times. She unconsciously reached for a radio and clipped it on her belt as the other two conversed, it took her a moment to realize Knight Haven had asked her of her opinion. Rehni snapped back to her present reality and looked at Haven and Zolotoy, "Wes needing to keeping moves, amongst Wookies wes sticking out. Fors slavers to setting up postes foring extracting Wookie, they ising not stupid, knows whating they ising doing. Be alerts." she explained.

"Two miles is a long distance to walk," said Zolotoy. "Running wouldn't be a good idea since it would use up more energy." He pointed North. "The slaver camp should be two miles that way. So, we need to figure out what we're going to do. Are we going to try to reason with these people and give them a chance to leave peacefully or infiltrate the place?"

"in that case." Haven said, waving her cybernetic arm towards the location of the Slaver camp. "We'll start making out way there." Before starting to walk, she turned to face Zolotoy, her face fairly firm set. "if this entire ordeal can be solved without violence, then it would certainly be for the best. But in all honesty, i don't see these slavers giving up so easily. Even if they agree to surrender, we'll have to hand them to the appropriate officials, letting them simply leave is hardly going to be sufficient."

She paused, aware that her words might seem a bit harsh on this matter. But enslaving another being is an activity of abomination. "They'll get their chance, but if they don't take it, we'll do what it takes to rescue the captured wookiees."

The Knight's senses were tingling, as she already made in the direction towards the outpost. "Fiving credits, negociations lasts five minuting befores lightsabers coming out." smirked Rehni, she didn't believe this could be a peaceful ordeal, not if they have land so far from the camp, have to hike up to the camp and from there talk with the slavers, who most likely hate every cell of every Jedi. "Prepares foring the worses." she told the other two.

"I guess you have a point," agreed Zolotoy depressingly. He checked his gear to make sure everything was in order. He didn't want to start an operation and find out something was dead. Everything was charged and ready except for one backup light was low on power. "So, what's the plan?"

Haven followed Rehni, who was already makin her way towards the outpost. "We give them a nice surprise." She chuckled, indicating that Zolotoy should walk by her. Haven turned to face him as she walked, her face showing a little concern. She drummed her fingers on her legs, always keeping a careful watch on the horizon.

"Zolotoy." Haven said, her tone a little spologetic. "i know that i haven't really had time to instruct you much, but just remember to keep your wits about you during the action. Don't panic, for once that happens, defeat is but the beginning."

"Don't worry, I'll do my best to not disappoint you," promised Zolotoy. He grabbed his lightsaber. "Shall we split up or attack as one?"

"Attacking not. Wes greeting thems firsts, making sures theys knowing ofing us here and we knowing theys ising here." spoke Rehni hearing the padawan, "Wes needing to keeps lightsabers aways and stayings together. Jedis bettering when together. Stronger isings us always when wes staying together." the young Knight explained.

"That said." Haven sighed, as the trio continued their walk to the slaver outpost. "We might not even get a chance to negotiate with them, if they manage to locate our presence quickly enough. i doubt their attitudes towards a group of our Order would be a positive one."

Haven made a hand gesture for Zolotoy to keep his lightsaber down for the moment. "Nevertheless, brandishing it before we arrive is likely only going to give off the wrong vibe!" She laughed, nodding at the slightly younger female. "Well said, though if need be, we could still scout ahead or approach through different directions. But straightforward is good, staying together is simple yet effective."

Dagonet climbed the steps leading up to one of the walls surrounding the outpost. When he reached the top he perched himself on the edge of the wall and peered casually into the surrounding trees. After several minutes, Berqess Zolitov ascended the stairs and stood behind him. "Something the matter, sir?" Of all the people involved in Dagonet's pirate enterprise, Berqess was perhaps one of the bravest, understanding that as long as you didn't mess up, you could be relatively open with Dagonet.

Dagonet smiled as he continued to peer into the darkness. "Tell me, Berqess... What do you think of Jedi?"
Berqess thought a moment before answering. "I've never really given them much consideration. The Jedi don't often get involved in a trade such as ours."
Dagonet chuckled and looked up toward the sky. "It seems even you have your flaws, chief of security."

He walked past Berqess and paused at the top of the stairway. "I'm going to go relax a bit. If I were you, I'd keep a good eye on those trees."
Berqess looked to the trees questioningly. When he returned his gaze to where Dagonet had been, he was gone.

Zolotoy put away his lightsaber.
"I guess you have a point," conceded Zolotoy. "Well, generally with any illegal operation, there's always a boss. They'll expect the same for us. Who will act as the leader or representative?" He looked at Haven and Rehni, wondering which one of them would take the initiative.
