Strall hesitated, the notion of a possible raid on the compound causing him to tense. He looked from the waiting guards to the trio as he tried to find some way of getting out of this situation. The opposition held a powerful trump card, and Strall was unsure how to approach the situation. He couldn't hand out even a single Wookiee, his records now being so closely monitored, but he could not deny 'Calvin' his request lest he bring unwanted attention to the Kashyyyk outpost.

Strall bit his lip. "I..."
Suddenly, a low chuckle reached his ears. Strall spun around to find himself face-to-face with Ardricular Dagonet. He was stunned at first until he remembered that Dagonet knew nothing about what was going on. He straightened himself up as he regained his composure. "Boss! Excellent timing! I-"
His words were lost as Dagonet's empty smile seemed to seal his lips shut. Dagonet let out another chuckle as the guards suddenly turned their weapons on Strall. "Yorhan, how long do you think I've been here?" Standing beside him stood Zolitov, who seemed to be doing his best to avoid looking at Strall. Dagonet held his hand out and Zolitov placed a small vibroblade in his palm. "You know, Yorhan, next time you want to keep something a secret from me, don't let my own men know." Before Strall could react, Dagonet lunged forward and sent the vibroblade piercing through his chest. Dagonet relinquished his grip and Strall stumbled back. He fell to the floor and gasped for air as his lungs were filled with his own blood. Dagonet stepped forward and, grabbing Strall by the collar, pulled him up to eye level.

"I gave you a second chance, Strall, that's more than I've ever done for anyone else, and yet you threw it away!"
Grabbing the hilt of the vibroblade, Dagonet slowly pulled it out. Strall gave a violent cough as the blade was removed.
"I have no need for failures in my following."
With that he let go of Strall who, being so close to the edge of the wall, lost his footing and fell over the side, where his corpse fell in a heap on the forest floor.

The guards returned their attention to the trio as Dagonet faced them as well. He smiled "I'm terribly sorry about all this."

Zolotoy was horrified by the sudden actions of Dagonet. However, he worked to keep his fright out of his face. Instead, he put on a sinister smile.

"We seem to be in agreement," said Zolotoy, pretending to be unphased. "Failure is not acceptable in our line of work. Now, will we be getting around to seeing the 'merchandaise' or will things turn ugly?"

Zolotoy knew he shouldn't be threatening this person, obviously some kind of ring leader, but he needed to keep the facade of a smug royal. He couldn't back down.

Rehni could feel something sudden not quite right and it was only to be proven by the sudden assertive voices from the balcony of the base. The knight stepped a half step back when the dead body landed with a thud in front of the group, she let out a quiet discontented sigh and looked up at the new individual standing at the top.

Keeping it ups padawan Zolotoy, you ising do's good...

Dagonet let out a laugh as the man addressed him. "Merchandise? Now that's a funny way of referring to a living creature." He smiled and shrugged. "Sure, I'd be glad to show you some of my 'merchandise'." Leaning forward, his eyes narrowed "Just leave your lightsabers at the door."

Zolotoy took one of his two lightsabers out and threw it at Dagonet's feet. The second was safely secure in his back strap. He guessed that Dagonet knew of the lightsabers from the cameras. Luckily, Zolotoy hadn't taken the second one out since they arrived on Kashyyyk, so it would remain unknown.

"My bodyguards, a couple of Luminado Mercenaries, probably won't be as willing to forfeit their lightsabers," said Zolotoy. "Don't worry, they can stay here." He glanced at the lightsaber he had thrown. "Don't lose that. It was worth a nice shiny penny when I bought that on the black market."

I'll go on ahead and keep you updated telepathically, messaged Zolotoy via telepathy. Be ready to act any time.

Zolotoy faced Dagonet. "Shall we get to business?"

Haven stayed silent during the whole of Zolotoy's facade. it was something she had not thought of, and she praised his resourcefulness, but nevertheless it was extremly risky. Be ready to storm inside. Remember not to force anything, Zolotoy, keep your composure, but know when the ploy has failed. She kept a relaxed smile on her face, but knew that this was a crucial stage. As demonstrated by the newcomer's actions, they were certainly not ones to joke around.
