Scandal in Serenno! House Demici has been the center of a great scandal and the Great Houses are shaken and reeling from the aftermath. It wasn’t too long ago that a rogue Force user attacked a ball. This time an incident occurred during the annual Hunt where multiple Great Houses were present. The event first witnessed the apparent suicide of Demici house matron Lady Idesta Demici. This was followed by violence in the forests resulting in deaths of several hunt participants. Sybella Demici was arrested as the prime suspect of these killings and also for harming Rangers responding to the incident. There is talk among the elder houses to formally remove Demici as a Great House following such a scandal. This is a developing story and there is more to come!

This latest scandal comes as another blow from Force user activity running amok within Serenno borders. However, not all are out to wreak havoc - both incidents were stopped from escalating with the presence of a rising figure within the noble community - an Anzat noble known as Alistair Winchester. The Force user, who does not belong to any formal order, has come to the rescue on multiple occasions when rogue Force users have attacked civilians.

“If it weren’t for him, who knows how much more bloodshed there would have been during the Hunt,” The head of House Palerma was quoted, who was present to witness Idesta Demici throw herself over the side of an observation deck above the hunt, “Who knows what Demici had plotted. For all we know, the original intent was to round us all up and have that wretched daughter kill us all!”

Rumors and gossip have been running rampant, all of the noble houses collectively pointing fingers at Demici. Of course, none of this is surprising - the Great Houses have long since been divided in the absence of a planetary leader.

For now there are more questions than answers, but one thing is for certain - the political climate among the Serennian nobility is in total disarray.
