Scary Movies

Swrp, I need your help. I want to find a movie that is actually somehwt scary, but I seem to be incapable of doing so. Ive seen lots of good scary movies, but never any well... scary ones.

So, I would like for you to post whatever you think is the scariest movie out there for me.

Im hoping that someone on here knows of a great one that Ive just missed somehow.

A Serbian Film isn't really scary as it is hilarious.

I don't get scared easily, the only time I've ever been scared was when I watched Signs when I was eight. However the scene with the alien in that home video at the birthday party still creeps the piss out of me.

Also, Signs still creeps me out, especialy that scene and when they try to break into the house. I love the movie, but that's still one creeper...

If it is the latter, I would say The Poughkeepsie Tapes. I wasn't scared, but everybody I watched it was freaking out afterwards.

In terms of gore, Laid to Rest. I had to turn it off about thirty minutes into the movie because of how violent it was. Finished it a few days later.

Psychological, probably the Exorcist. It ain't really scary anymore, but some scenes still creep me out.

Slasher wise, try Scream. Comedic-horror, I love It.

I was thinking more psychological, since gore usually ends up just being kind of meh.(Though if you know of an ultra amazing gorey movie, thatd be fine) Thanks for the suggestions so far everyone.

Quarantine or either Paranormal activity (the first preferably). POV horror is the ONLY thing for me. No music to tell you when something is coming and limited view. The monsters you put into the movie are always scarier than what they show or tell you.

Signs, just thinking about that movie makes me wanna blast comedy at my ears and turn on all teh lights.
