If its an independent world, can't we join the Republic? I mean who's to say we cant? Ylix has no information about it on Wookieepedia. So I made up some information about it in Ians' profile. Basically he overthrows a dictator to bring democracy to his planet, and wants to join the Republic.

I should have been more clear what I meant. Zeltros would be an example as it's a canon indy world that wont join till around the clone wars, and in our time it's pretty much established that JE is pretty much the bulk of the planets economy and has diplomatic ties through the monarchy.

I volunteered to make a senator when the big attack happened but no one ever got back to me and I think the thread kind of died. Is there a section where the vacant seats are listed, or perhaps more easily, the seats that aren't vacant are listed?

On a side note, the reason being is that if no one took over, I'd like to bring back my old senator Ventrue.

that is a big thing.. we have senator characters who were taken out buy the Hutt attack still listed, some who have OOCLY been missing for along time.

so knowing who is active NOW lets me know EXACTLY who is where for now.

P.S. I'm active, but my Senator was retired due to the fact that he'd developed several disabilities and the inability to hear or speak from Tusa's attack. Still alive, but retired.
