He asked for their following plans and while she hadn't worked on a full tour program as this was supposed to be relaxing, she had a few ideas in mind. "There are a few sights we could check out, I can give you some suggestions later, but for tomorrow I thought we could start with a morning run or walk and then spontaneously decide what we feel like doing". She was already looking forward to tomorrow, but she was also happy about the romantic night to come.

"Distractable? Excuse me?" she shot him a dramatic glance before she had to chuckle again, teasingly adding "You could have just resisted". Of course she was glad he didn't and as he immediately reached for the table another smirk crossed her lips. It was sweet that he was still being quite the gentleman, yet she didn't fully agree with him there.

"You are my guest...I'll not let you work in the kitchen while I swipe through some movies..." she replied softly, letting him carry the plates back to the kitchen but motioning towards the dishwasher before opening it. "You could put the spices back into the drawers if you feel like you need to do anything, because I do actually need you to stay down here for a little longer" she then added with a teasing wink, wanting to sound all mysterious before she kissed him again and slipped away.

There wasn't much he had to do, but she trusted him in staying downstairs for a moment while she quickly prepared the bed room like she intended. She would reappear just a few moments later, her smile even wider as she extended her head and wanted him to take it. She liked the movie idea and would lead him upstairs, but before they'd reach the master bedroom, they'd pass quite a few other doors.

She guided him inside and his gaze would fall upon a vast, beautifully decorated room with a comfortable, freshly made canopy bed. Moonlight fell through the tall windows and reflected in the pompous, golden-framed and ornamented mirror, but the main source of light were the fairly lights that were draped mover the canopy and along the walls. The room didn't lack any luxuries you might expect in such a residence, yet it had a rather unique rustic charm that however wasn't really a contrast to the modern media devices. Across from the bed was a huge screen and as she led him inside, she asked, "Which genre do you feel like?".

"Sounds perfect." he replied. He usually was one to plan, perhaps over plan, vacations, but he enjoyed the nudge towards more spontaneity.

He chuckled. "I guess I could have.." he said, looking her up and down. "Guess I became too distracted myself to think of that option." he continued.

Jon didn't push back when she insisted on helping clean up after dinner. While a guest, he certainly didn't mind pulling his own weight. The two of them made quick work of it, Jon enjoying her company.

He raised an eyebrow when she told him to wait for her to return and quickly darted upstairs after kissing him. "I'll be here!" He chuckled at the mysteriousness of it all as her footsteps grew fainter and fainter. He quickly put the last spices away and patiently waited for his retrieval. A few minutes later, he heard her walking closer, appearing down the stairs a few seconds later.

They moved upstairs and down a long hallway with doors to either side. They reached the end of the hallway, and Jon was pulled into the Master Bedroom. It was the perfect mix of comfort and style, with everything from the lights to the furniture to the design flowing perfectly.

He moved behind her, hands on her hips, pulling her back into him. "I picked dinner; you pick the movie. Its only fair." he said teasingly as he leaned down and kissed her neck before letting go of her. "No pressure, though, its not like finding out you have terrible tastes in movies would ruin this whole vacation or anything.." he joked. In reality, he didn't really mind whatever they watched. He would watch the weather if it meant spending time with her.

They reached the bed room and despite not feeling particularly tired, the cozy atmosphere immediately made her relax. She knew she'd sleep well next to him already, but for she looked forward to a movie night.

The kiss he planted along her neck immediately sent electricity through her whole body again and he'd feel her body moving backwards against his. She closed her eyes and reached back, finding his sides to hold him close. He let go and she spun around, a wide smirk on her lips.

"Oh is that so? You are building up quite some pressure here..." she closed the distance between them, getting on tiptoes to plant a passionate kiss on his lips, her hands wandering up his shoulders and slowly down again.

"Now I feel like avoiding choosing by distracting you again", she whispered as she pulled back before she then grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the bed. She did actually have a few movie ideas, but she felt like this could wait a little.

Once at the bed, she let go of his hand and reached down towards the hem of her dress. She simply peeled it upwards, excruciatingly slow before it passed her head, so that she could carelessly toss it onto the ground. "Is that distracting enough?".

"Are you sure you are up to it?" he asked jokingly. He smiled as she approached, kissing her before she pulled away from him again.

He let himself be pulled to bed and sat down. "I suppose I could entertain the idea of being suitably distracted," he said, leaning back on hands on the bed. It was perfectly soft and luxurious. The couch from earlier was sandpaper compared to this.

Jon let out a slow breath, all thoughts of movies leaving his head. She transfixed him; the way to the dimly lit room made her skin glow faintly in the night as the edges of her dress slowly crawled up over the curves of her body.

"Hrrm?" he said, not actually hearing her questions at first. "What were we talking about?" he said with a grin, sitting up and pulling her towards him.

Obviously, he didn't mind the distraction and so she didn't bother turning back now. The Moonlight mingled with the fairy lights on her skin as she did also remove what else was left of fabric and joined him on the bed. She immediately melted into his embrace and skillfully freed him from his clothes before she fully reveled in those wonderful moments.

A whole while later, she found herself on his bare chest again, listening to his still speeding heart while breathing him in. She was happy beyond belief, fully pleased with that wonderful night and wondering when she had last been that happy.

"Sorry..." she began, knowing he'd call her out on apologizing again, but she fully did this on purpose, "for the repeated distraction". She let out a soft chuckle before she closed her eyes again, exhaling in full relaxation before she glanced up at him.

"You seem...happy yet a little exhausted" she remarked softly, fumbling for the remote. It wasn't very late, yet his day had been long. "If you're still down for the movie I'd put it on, but I won't mind if you just fell asleep on me".

He lay back on the pillow, a silky sheet draped over them. His heart raced as his breathing finally slowed. A finger ran down her side, gliding over smooth skin.

"You know." he said quietly. "I am beginning to think you are not sorry.." he added as they relaxed. He returned the look when she glanced up at him and let out another content sigh. "Well, I am certainly happy." he said, kissing her again on the forehead. "Though I think I sleep in this bed even if I was wide awake. How is something this comfortable?" he said as he nestled further into the bed.

She reached for the remote. "I am still very much down.." he replied. He was tired, but that wasn't anything new. The other feelings that flooded over him were, though. He didn't want to waste time sleeping. As the movie started, he pulled her closer once again, cuddling on the bed as the screen flared to life.

"Look at you reading me like an open book" she playfully remarked, gently nudging him. "This time you might be right" she admitted with a smirk before she turned on the screen and skipped to recommendations.

"Okay so, I do love spooky horror movies or the deep psychological stuff...yet I feel like I've got a better idea for now". She swiped through a few things before she found something that was tagged as suspenseful, yet lighthearted and amusing and settled on it.

"I don't know this one, but it looks good. Let's see whether it convinced you afterwards" she said to him, waiting for a quick piece of his mind before she clicked start, snuggled up to him, obviously without a blanket because it was warm enough without it and opened the tall window with the Force to let in the fresh night air.

Cuddling, they watched the movie and Kalique did indeed find it surprisingly good. It had a little romantic build up as well, the plot elements were logical and some scenes really suspenseful. The various comic reliefs true chuckles from her and in the end, she was indeed satisfied. She threw him an expectant glance though, waiting for his full criticism when the end credits started. "Your verdict, Commander Baize, please".

"I knew it!" he said as if he had solved a hard case.

He wasn't a fan of scary movies but was willing to allow Kalique the opportunity to turn him into one. Ultimately, she landed on a pretty middle-of-the-road movie, and they settled in.

The movie wasn't bad, though Jon generally enjoyed movies even when others complained about them. He didn't consider himself much of a critic, plus he couldn't have been in a much better mood.

As the movie progressed, he grew more comfortable as a summer breeze blew in the open window, his eyes growing slightly heavy. By the movie's end, it was a struggle to keep them open. He yawned. "It was good. Totally called the guy, in the beginning, was going to betray them!" he said quietly.

It still wasn't terribly late, but Jon finally began to give in to sleep. He rolled slightly, leaning his head on her. "You don't need to go to bed right now if you don't want..I'll be alright.." he said, his words trailing off. He said something else, but it came out as an unintelligible mumble.

Despite all odds, Jonathen was still awake when the movie ended which was why she was already getting the feeling he didn't find it too bad. "Yeah you did...but see? I'm not too bad with movies". Maybe this would make up for the terrible adventurous restaurant choice on Raxus back then.

She noticed how he started trailing off and she started curling up next to him. "And leave your embrace? No" she softly answered as she motioned for the smart home system to turn of the lights and switched off the TV as well.

The summer night's breeze that was streaming in was absolutely pleasant and while his eyelids were already quite heavy, she too, had started to become a little tired. His yawns were simply infectious and his presence soothes her so much that relaxing wasn't hard.

Curled up next to him as the little spoon she only slowly and gently shifted until she was fully comfortable and closed her eyes then. "Good night" she quietly added, however already noticing he was dozing off. It would take her a few more minutes, but she did drift off into a wonderfully tight and relaxing sleep and as she woke in the morning, the early sun was still relatively low on the horizon.

She usually used to first hours of light for training and meditation, but as they were off duty, she didn't mind staying in bed all cuddled up with him at all. She'd wait for him to move and just doze until then, subtly meditating as it was a simple yet effective habit of her.

He was only vaguely aware as she shifted, he wrapped an arm around her and fell into one of the most sound sleeps he had ever experienced. It was common for him to get awoken during the night by this problem or that situation but tonight, with her, it was perfect.

It was not normal for him to sleep in; his alarm would go off well before sunrise, but when he finally awoke, the sun was already above the horizon. He stirred, stretching slightly. He kissed the back of Kalique's neck before nuzzling back against her. "Good morning," he whispered a second later. If she were still asleep or didn't respond, he would drift back to sleep with little problem.

He let a content huff out as he lay on the border of sleep and consciousness.

Kalique was awake, yet her focus on her meditation with herself focused on her own presence so that she noticed Jon stirring relatively late. He kissed neck and nuzzled himself into her and she slowly withdrew herself from her meditative state and rolled around, arms and legs wrapping around him.

She couldn't remember when she had last felt so rested in the morning. They were in a safe place and mist importantly, he made her feel so secure and protected that she had simply given herself in to the sleep. "Morning" she softly whispered as buried her head against his chest, enjoying the cuddling a whole while longer before she'd stretch herself a little as well.

"Did you sleep well?" she asked him, however assuming he had as she hadn't felt any tossing or turning. As every morning, she was immediately feeling rather energized and was ready for the day, yet she was about to learn how he was in the mornings. They had no set plans, so they could start into a very relaxed morning, yet even it was very unusual for her to start like this, it felt very good with him.

She shifted and wrapped herself around him, causing him to finally blink his eyes open and push some of the hair out of his eyes.

"I did" he said, starting to wake up finally. "You are going to spoil me with the bed." he said. "Amongst other things..." he said, hand running down the curves of her body.

He let himself linger there for just a glorious few seconds longer, convinced if he didn't get up, then he would remain in bed with her all day, which was actually a tempting possibility.

Jon stretched and sat up, swinging his feet out onto the floor. He sat there for a moment as he finished waking up. He looked back over his shoulder. "You a coffee before or after your run kind of girl?" he asked.

His reply immediately brought another smirk as her lips as his hand ran down her still naked still. "Good...another distraction though? I'm getting a feeling it's you, not me", she playfully replied, however impressed by the sudden willpower.

He had not forgotten about the run and she was absolutely down, so she scouted towards the bed's edge after a moment before she let her feet on the ground and walked over to the wardrobe where she kept her sport clothes. "I usually do the run first...but I can brew something now if you'd prefer it otherwise".

She grabbed a top and shorts, asking, "Do you need clothes? I got you something in your size just in case" she assumed he had something with him as he too, had a routine, yet she had tried to be prepared for everything so that he'd feel all comfortable.

She then began putting the clothes on before she put her hair up in a ponytail, ready to go, however she wasn't minding coffee or even breakfast first. What already made her happy again was the view of a still slightly groggy Jonathen on the bed which however seemed like it had never been any different.

He let out a low chuckle. "Perhaps it is me.." he admitted.

"Oh no, a run first is fine, as long as there is coffee at some point.." he said. He pushed himself off the bed. "I brought clothes, thanks though," he said warmly as he dug through his bag, pulling out a set of gym shorts and a sleeveless t-shirt. He pulled on socks and running shoes.

For being a soldier who constantly had to wake up early, he had never been much of a morning person, but he was pleasant as they got ready and headed outside. "Anywhere specific you like to run?" he asked while stretching. The morning air was still cool and damp with dew—the perfect time to run.

He reached down, touching his toes, letting the muscles in his legs stretch. "You ready?" he asked, jumping in place several times.

After switching into her running clothes and putting on some decent shoes they made their way downstairs together. "There will be, I promise" she replied warmly before heading for the door, taking in a deep breath of the fresh morning air. It was still very wild and the morning dew laced the grass and planets on the garden. Songbirds hummed their tunes in the distance and a small rodent was busy climbing up a tree.

"I've got a path in my mind...basically every trail leads to something scenic though, so we could also just pick the paths that seem the nicest" she suggested as she quickly stretched herself. She knew her way around here and she was going to let him decide.

"Do you feel like slopes and a mountainous paths with a view, something more relaxed around a beautiful nearby lake or an adventurous forest trail?". Depending on his choice, she'd nod towards the fitting direction and choose to jog alongside him at a rather moderate pace for now. "Any preferences for breakfast? I can issue a quick delivery of ingredients or a fully prepared meal".

"I'll never say no to a good view." he said, looking her up and down with a grin. "Been a while since I have so good hills to run." he said, starting to make his way down the path.

He started to jog and then run alongside Kalique as they made their way toward a nearby mountain. "I normally don't eat much breakfast; some fruit will be alright with me." he said, their feet padding along the path. His body finally started to feel awake as they moved.

He normally did most of his working out alone, except for days he did PT with soldiers. He did that much less now that he was a commander but still tried to make an appearance once a week.

"You remember that giant hill they would make you run in basic training everyone morning?" he asked as they continued at a comfortable pace. "The Hill" was famous for Imperial Soldiers. It was an uneven, rocky path that went straight up the side of a mountain. They would have to run it every morning in full armor. "...I always hated it.." he said, laughing.

His glance made her smirk, but shebwas fully content with his choice and so they started of to the right where they'd cross a little part of the adjacent forest before they would start up the first slope. "The mountain isn't super high, but glancing down into the valley is a rather nice sight to behold".

There were obviously no other runners around as the residence was so far off on the countryside that all living creatures out here were smaller animals minding their own business. "Fruits I do have...but there could be a batter variety" she replied, pulling out her NalPhone and pinging one of the delivery droids to fetch some more. She also thought protein pancakes to accompany the fruits were a good idea, so she added that with a few clicks before her full attention was back at Jonathen.

It was rather nice to start off the training's routine with a morning run with him and the weather conditions were just as perfect as the company. "Ohh yes...of course I remember. I was close to losing interest in running as the hill was so annoying".

This mountain trail was much smoother and more scenic and also, they weren't wearing armor, but he did stir up some painful memories. Nowadays she did enjoy it again, but obviously because she could choose her paths. "It was the worst...although it did help with building up stamina". While it had mostly still been torture, it had also helped a little after all.

They soon left the more secluded area of the forest and were starting to pass various fields on the right and the first hill to the left. "So after training and breakfast...what do you feel like doing?". The weather was supposed to great, a perfect, sunny summer day and they obviously had plenty of options.

This was much nicer than the running track or treadmill he normally ran on. The scenery slowly passed by as they continued along. They passed over a small break and cut through a large meadow as the trail continued to wind its way gently upward.

"Of course, it didn't help that we often snuck in alcohol during basic training and drank at night," he said, having flashbacks of the pounding hangover, soldiers vomiting everywhere. "Those were the days..." he said sarcastically.

She asked what he wanted to do, "You're making me do a lot of thinking this early in the morning, De'Maci." he joked. "You know us soldiers are best just told where to go." he continued.

"I will be 1000% happy doing anything with you, but I like anything outdoors." he said, continuing to run. The incline had increased as they made their way through the foothills. "You know, I read about this place in the Aparian Wastes that rents out swoop bikes to ride the canyons there. It's supposed to have some pretty impressive views, maybe a little dangerous, but nothing my Knight Protector can't handle I'm sure. " he said with a laugh, nudging her. "You have anything you want to do? It's your vacation to, you know?" he asked.

After the colorful meadows, the path led them up a steeper incline for a moment before the path became rather curvy again and would slowly make its way up towards the peak. Away from the shade of the forest, there was definitely more sun and thus more heat, yet as it was still early enough, it was nothing but pleasant.

"You did what?!" she pretended to be shocked for a short moment, "I'm absolutely shocked, Commander", before she broke into a chuckle. She could literally see it...they've had fun drinking on Raxus already but younger cadets were way worse, so she believed him that it had been a fun time.

"Pfff....I'm afraid I can't live up to your high expectations in terms of the entertainment program" she playfully teased back right as they took the next turn. "I'm all about the outdoors as well though" she still happily agreed with him, throwing him a smile.

His idea sounded great, although it did make her smirk. "Oooh I see, we're moving fast. Now we're already that couple that rides swoop bikes in canyons..." she couldn't help but to tease, even though she really liked the plan. "Jokes aside, that sounds cool! That's something I haven't done yet here either...but damn, you surely did your research. Maybe you'd guide me around here". He seemed to have come prepared, which was really sweet to see. Riding bikes was obviously nothing for her parents and so the experience would definitely be new to her, which she appreciated as she could share it with him.

"Hmm...you'll probably roll your eyes but I know a very cool restaurant that actually offers good food...no amphibians. It's not that posh I swear, but it also has a really cool view over a lake. We could do that tonight. Also, we need to go for a swim some time". The possibilities were endless, but those were definitely two places she wanted him to see.

If they rounded the next corner, they'd pass a relatively natural avenue with fruit trees to the left and right and if they continued along for another while, they'd reach already the peak that would allow them to glance down into the meadow filled valley down below. The view was breathtaking, but as she slowed down for now, her gaze was all on him.

"Well, what I meant to say was others snuck it in and drank. I stayed up light studying formations and such." he said with a laugh. He was a kid when he left for basic training; that felt like a lifetime ago. Had it only been five years?!

"You're right; I am known for my pickiness and unobtainingly high standards," he joked. "Is that even a stage in relationships?" he asked, confused. "The truth is, I am pretty boring. Sure, you get to see me when I face down demons and hordes of Ewoks, but the rest of the time, I am going to the gym, watching sports...pretty boring stuff...I'm trying really hard not to bore you to death." he finished with a laugh.

"...I searched "fun things to do on Serenno" on the holonet..." he admitted, pulling out his Nalphone. "You're ideas sound great, and I love that restaurant. I still go back sometimes. So I am eager to see your next food recommendation." he said truthfully.

They reached the top of the peak, and Jon slowed to a stop, breathing only somewhat heavily. "You were right; this is quite some view," he said. He sat down on a large boulder, big enough for both of them and pulled his knees up, resting his arms on them."This view was absolutely worth it.." he said, a nice summer breeze blowing past them as he caught his breath.
