OOC: Open to one other Jedi, preferably a padawan.

Berchest was really pretty. Its crystalline cities were like something out of a fantasy, so Maura was far from surprised to know that tourism was one of their biggest exports. Everything seemed so perfect, from the cleanliness of the streets to the sweet scent of salty ocean air. Their mission here was a breeze too - they were just doing goodwill! Stuff like helping people move boxes, shopping for old people, picking up litter... it was a little boring, especially for Maura, but the scenery made it a bit better.

"C'mon! We're gonna be late!"

Maura and Dante - a younger padawan she'd buddied up with for today - had been off perusing the market. She'd originally pulled him there because she wanted to try the street food, but she'd only ended up buying an apple since the prices were higher than she was willing to spend. "Race you back?" Without any more warning than that, Maura dashed off, heading back toward the lower city where they'd been staying with the other Jedi. They were supposed to be back by noon to start their day, but it looked like Maura and Dante were gonna be a little itty bit late.

As they approached the lower city, the streets and buildings got older and less nice. It was by no means a slum, but it was abundantly clear that there was a wealth gap in this place. The smell of cigarras joined the sea breeze, and the calm chatter of the upper city was replaced with much louder, much more rambunctious energy. She kind of liked it better though. It felt more alive.

Liana had been downtown, visiting her favorite charity shop for some colorful, new, fancy, second-hand and thus environmental friendly, sustainable clothes. Today was a very good day and the weather was awesome! But it was often awesome Berchest, actually, which was great!

Liana left the shop with one half full recycling paper back, happily humming to herself and just as she stepped out, she checked her NalPhone and realized how she had totally forgotten the time. She looked back up, orientating herself quickly, but before she could start jogging, she suddenly witnessed how a very familiar girl ran past her.

Maura! Her good friend Maura! Followed by Dante, this sweet, young padawan. "HI GUYS!", she called after them, breaking into a sprint while gleefully giggling. "Wait for me, I'm late, too!". The paper bag crumbled while she ran, but she remained careful not to wreck it completely while simultaneously trying to bump into someone.

Berchest was interesting. I mean it was pretty enough, the beaches especially. But the crystal cities were...meh. The young human was not so starry eyed as the as his companion about the towering cities of shimmering glass. The cleanliness was also something strange to him. Even on his mother's home world, things were a little dingy. This whole city looked just to clean.

However, Dante did enjoy the mission. The helping of people, and feeling of being purpose. He liked to think it offset his parents choices.

"I'm coming, I'm coming" He blurted between breaths. They had taken a break from their task to get in a quick bite. What young person could resist street food. Maura choose some local fruit. He could't tell if that was because she didn't like the selection or because she was broke. Before he could offer to pay however, Maura was off like rocket. Dante giving chase. She was quick, but he was gaining.

Seeing the friendly girl from the part, Liana maybe? He waved. Not waste a breath. Instead focusing on his stride slowly gaining on the knife eared Padawan.

"WE'RE RACING!" Maura called out to Liana as she joined them. "Last one back has to tell Master Kattp why we're late!"

They weren't too far from where they were supposed to meet up with their accompanying Jedi knight, Master Kattp, but they would be late. He was the sort that demanded timeliness, so even a measly two minutes past noon would illicit a stern response from the man. He was pretty nice otherwise, Maura thought.

The streets were crowded, but Maura didn't find too much trouble dodging pedestrians and weaving through the masses. She kept a loose eye on the others and glanced back now and then, but there was no way she was letting up.

The three of them, on their route, would pass by a series of interesting scenes. Two merchants fighting with angry words and aggressive gestures, a pair of detectives interviewing a nervous-looking woman, and a group of kids spraying graffiti of something in bright red on an alley wall.

Five or so minutes later, Maura burst into the little SpaceBnB they'd been staying in. The toe of her shoe caught the lip on the doorframe, causing her to tumble inside. But no matter! She was the victor, right?

A race?! Liana absolutely loved races and she didn't mind their headstart at all! She ran after both Dante and Maura, giggling happily while the three of them sped through the streets. Oh, she absolutely didn't want to be the one that had to tell Master Kattp why they were all so late, especially because she didn't even know what they had been doing before she had bumped into them! But she could improvise somehow! She was optimistic as always.

No matter how fast she ran, she couldn't reach Dante and arrived at the place where they were currently staying just 2 seconds after him. "Oooh kaaaark" she cursed under her breath, immediately giggling at her swear word while catching her breath. "Whoopsie, I'm sorry". She knew Dante was younger than them and didn't want to be a bad role model.

She steadied herself against the wall for a moment, worriedly glancing at Maura for a second. "Are you okay? You almost looked like you would fall", she asked the other padawan, but before she would be able to reply, the master arrived, throwing them all a scrutinizing and rather displeased look. "Explain yourselves, young padawan. You are late..." he stated sternly, but Liana was already dutifully stepping forwards. "We are so so sorry Master Kattp. I promise this won't happen again. Please don't blame them. I asked them for help in the charity shop by helping my pick another sweater! I really needed their help and as I was trying on yet another one, we forgot about the time and started a little too late. We are really really sorry!". She was obviously telling him a sweet white lie, but that was only to protect them and take all of the blame for her friends. She threw him a really apologetic look, but was actually very sorry and was hoping that he would quickly forgive them all.

"Yeah!" Dante finally confirmed or rather blurted between breaths. Try as he might, he couldn't quiet keep up with Maura. The knife eared young woman was all springs as she got ever closer to the bnb They were supposed to meet Master Kattp.

Over all, Dante didn't mind the Knight. In many ways the Jedi reminded Dante of his father. Most who knew him out not assume the Crymorah boss to be a stickler for things like punctuality, but the man could be a drill sergeant when he wanted. Fortunately he, he had a decent lead on the bubbly blond.

They came threw the door one after the other. Maura, then Dante, and Liana bringing up the tail. Maura came in and took a tumble but recovered. Dante, unable to stop before his possibly running over his companion. Instead leap frog-ed. Crashing into a housekeeping cart before sliding to a stop.

"I'm ok." He moaned.

Maura was able to catch herself before completely stumbling to the ground. Dante though? Not so much. The girl had to slap a hand onto her face to help cover up her giggles but offered up her free hand to help him up from the ground while Lia dutifully fulfilled the loser's obligations.

Master Kattp listened to Lia's excuses, glanced between the three of them, then shook his head and sighed out a response. "I appreciate the apologies," he began, pausing to give pointed glances at Maura and Dante. The girl mumbled, "I'm sorry," and he would wait for Dante to do the same before continuing. "Just be more aware of yourselves next time. I believe you all have time-telling devices."

"So what are we doing today?" Maura piped up, speaking the moment Master Kappt closed his mouth. A brief look of irritation crossed his face, but it was gone the moment it appeared. The man's patience was astounding. Between Maura and Lia - Dante was a lot less energetic thus far - he had his work cut out for him.

"I'm heading up to the upper city to speak with a few government officials about some business," he started. "You all will be heading to the residence of a local gentleman who needs help moving some of his furniture."

"What kind of business?" Maura almost-interrupted.

"Private business," he answered sternly. "And I don't want the three of you blowing up my comm with questions and chatter. I will meet you three back here at 20 hours on the dot. My devices will be off until 19 hours."

-----

"Yeeesh," Maura exclaimed through her teeth. "He's so... it's a good thing you lost Lia! I probably would'a gotten us in actual trouble for being late with my excuse!" she laughed. "What do you guys think he's going to talk about?"

The three of them were en route to the "local gentleman's" house. He was apparently getting up their in age, which is why he needed their help. She really wasn't too excited about it.

Liana had been just as shocked about Dante's fall as about Maura's near fall experience. Omg what were they doing? She was glad they were both okay, but she was quite relieved that they were both okay, considering the circumstances. While apologetically glancing up to their Master and convincingly nodding as he advised them to stay attentive the enct time, she could see how he was a little disappointed, yet it didn't seem to bad and so as soon as he left them again, she excitedly jumped up and down. Only once he moved out of earshot did she dare to half-whisper half-giggle to the other padawan:"Pheeeew, that was soooo close".

"Hihi, thanks! I'm quite good at improvising and I'm glad we haven't gotten into actual trouble!" she exclaimed happily, turning to Maura. She then pondered on her question for a moment, Master Kattp's explanations echoing through her mind as well. "Hmm...I don't know...it sounds like he could be a lovely old man with huuuge backpain and so he needs us to move the furniture!" she chirped happily, fumbling around on the hem of her pullover while she thought and thought. "I don't mind helping him! I could be fun because we're all together!" There were rarely any occasions at which she wouldn't be as cheerful as always, so the blonde padawan was as happy and bubbly as always. "Buuut it also sounded a little mysterious! Maybe this will be a special task!" she kept musing, grinning widely."What do you think Dante?".

Dante let the marbles in his head stop spinning before taking Maura's hand in assistance. Seeing her poor attempt at covering her face, he squinted his face and stuck his tongue out at her. Then quickly gave a half smirk, before turning to face the Jedi Knight.

"Sorry Master." He said dutifully.

Quickly then he dusted himself off and rearranged his two toned shirt and cargo shorts. Before quickly checking his shoulder bag for his trusted droid Izzy. The BD unit had been his companion since the boy's mother found it for him at an auction. Sparking the young man's interest in droids and also his gift for both repairing, and disabling them.

Dante half listened to their Master, as he'd lost interest in the man's task after they were given their orders. While it wasn't a fun task, in fact more of the same drill. It was a chance to help. Plus some of these people had interesting stories of the hundred year darkness prior to the Sith reappearance.

Aimlessly, Dante started to follow the girls as they left the BnB for their "mission." "Yeah, thanks for the help." He tried to chime in warmly between fiddling with his droid and listing to Liana's motor mouth. Not to say that he didn't enjoy the girl's seemingly endless upbeat energy. He just didn't share her same bouncy nature. "Huh?" chiming again as Lia said his name. "Oh...um. I'm sure he's just some dude who needs his chair moved to see his Holo better." He said, clearly not as bubbly as his two companions.

"Oh, I meant what Master Kattp was up to," Maura clarified after the two of them misinterpreted her question. "But, yeah. I doubt this will be any different than the other goodwill tasks we've been doing." She reached into her pocket to procure the apple she'd gotten from the market earlier and took a big bite of the fruit flesh. It was really juicy, so she used the sleeve of her shirt to wipe her mouth while Dante talked.

"We've got until late to get everything done," she noted. "Maybe we'll have a bunch of free time left over after." She wanted to see if she could tackle the local swokémon gym around here. It was occupied by Team Mystic, so she had to do her part as Team Valor to take them down!

The three of them would spend the next ten or so minutes walking toward their destination before they arrived. The old man's house was small and quaint with a cobbled path leading up to his door from the street and a flower box filled with droopy flowers outside the front window. Dark curtains were pulled in front of the glass, so none of them were able to see inside.

Knock, knock, knock! "Hi! We're the Jedi here to help!" Maura called through the door. There was no answer, so she knocked and called out again. Still, none. "Maybe he's asleep?" Maura suggested, having no idea if he was actually home. "Or maybe he forgot we were coming and left to run errands?"

Liana couldn't quite say why, but she had a feeling that Dante wasn't too focused right now, but actually, as their mission hadn't started yet, this wasn't too bad at all! The three of them would work together perfectly and help the potentially older man in no time.

Lia's walk was a bouncy as ever and she glanced around curiosly while they passed through the streets once again. Everything here was so cool and different than at the temple and for once she enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the city, especially because she wasn't alone. She had to good friends and fellow padawan with her and so the task they had been given could only go well!

She hummed to herself a little again, happily scanning their surroundings as they walked while simultaneously participating in their little conversation as bubbly as before. She slightly chuckled at Dante's remark before she turned to Maura with her mouth wide open. "Ooooooh", Whoopsie, how could they have both interpreted that? "Well Master Kattp...no idea. It did sound a little mysterious, that's for sure! Do you guys think he seemed a little secretive?", she curiosly asked them as they continued walking.

The prospect of potentially ending up with some free time absolutely excited her! She loved and enjoyed helping people, yet there was so much cool stuff they could do here, but they would have to see how quickly they would finish their task. "Oooh yes! I saw soon many cool places we could check out this afternoon!", she answered gleefully, hopping over a little puddle she found on the ground.

With that little exchange, the trio made their way over to the said place and soon came to a halt in front of the gentleman's door. "Hiii, yes it's us!", she joined in, a friendly warm smile on her lips while she faced the door that, however, remained closed. "Hmm now that is odd indeed...maybe we should walk around it and see whether he's in his backyard?" She suggested, expectantly looking from Maura to Dante. Had they been too early? "Or maybe he'll show up in a few minutes" she shrugged, stepping closer towards the door and knocking again. "Excuuuse us Mister. We are here!" She tried again, her optimism unbroken.

"Oh...right. I knew that." He lied. He was as lost and Lia but it didn't matter. They managed to continue. "He's likely meeting a member of the resistance. Or something else related to the war effort. He's protecting us by not really protecting us." Dante answered. Showing more maturity now suddenly then he had in the past hour. But he was no stranger to it. His father was a Crime Lord, his aunt was a crime boss. He was no stranger to conflict. That and they were living on ships because the Sith invaded their last sanctuary.

At the mention of free time, Dante perked up. He could do some more exploring. Taking in places and sites. Do something other than lift heavy things. Lia seem to have an idea or two on perspective spots as well it seemed. "Sounds like a plan to me." He chimed in.

With plans now in stone, he followed the girls once more. Until they finally reached their destination. A small house. It would be quaint, if it were a bit more modern. Maura was the first to attempt to announce them. But no answer. Which Dante found odd. The man had to be expecting them. Liana tried next, and still no answer.

Not wanting to look insane, or silly. The male Padawan decided to go with a different idea. Reaching outward with his hand, he fell into the force and let his senses grow and expand. He could feel the aura of Maura and Lia, but no one else. Dante had a bad feeling. Looking to Maura, "I can't feel anyone else in the force ?"

"The Force..." Maura repeated Dante's words under her breath, reaching out in the Force herself. "I don't feel anything either," she confirmed, a mixture of worry and hesitation washing over her freckled skin. She looked over to Lia when she suggested that maybe he was in the backyard and nodded. "Yeah, let's go check back there."

The knife-eared padawan took a couple of steps, placed her hand on the fence separating the front of the house and the backyard, then vaulted over the barrier and landed with a quiet thud on the cobble. The pickets on the fence were broken off, so none of them would be in danger of getting poked on their way over. She waited for the other two to join her, then began walking around the side of the building to the garden out back. She only got a few steps in before she noticed what looked like a golden pin face down on the ground

"Careful, there's a pin here," she warned as she bent down to pick it up. It felt heavier than expected in her fingers. She lifted her head up to show Lia and Dante, but found they were no longer standing there. Instead, there was a human man of maybe 50 or 60 before her, standing in the midst of a living room with his hands held up to protect his face.

"Please! I- I have money! Aurum! I- I promise I won't tell anyone!" The panic and fear in the man's voice permeated the air. He was terrified. Maura, on the other hand, as she looked at him with shock and confusion, could only feel a burning sense of hatred.

She took a step forward, even though she hadn't thought to, and when she looked down, there was a knife tightly gripped in her pale hand. "Pale?" Her hands weren't that color! Quickly, Maura went to look back up, but rather than see the man, or his house, or whatever would happen next, she was staring into the garden before her.

The moment her fingers touched the pin, the others would watch Maura freeze in place, her eyes unblinking and wide. They could both potentially feel a stronger presence in the Force around Maura, and her face grew furrowed with worry through the few seconds of stillness.

"Shit." As soon as she was back, the padawan shot straight up, looking a little dazed and very urgent. It had happened again. "It'd been so long since the last time, too..." Maura still hadn't received any training to control her pyschometry, partially because there was no one she knew of who could teach her from experience. "We need to get inside now. I think- I think he's in trouble!"

She didn't take the time to explain, she just bolted for the backdoor, hoping it wasn't locked.

Right. As her friends pointed it out, she too had to check, but found absolutely no presence apart from the three padawan. That was odd. She nodded at Maura's remark and followed her to the back, hopping over the fence with ease before landing with her eyes slightly narrowed while she was scanning the new scene.

She glanced around for a moment until Maura mentioned the pin and her dark blue eyes flicked back to her friend in worry. "Ohhh wow! Maura, did you see something? You've been gone for a tew seconds, all...frozen. I've seen psychometry before!", she replied, flashed by this surprise for a moment and actually excited about her friends ability, however she then slowly processed what else Maura had been saying and also how, so this was obviously not good!

"Oh no..."
, she mumbled a little absently for a moment, momentarily caught into a state where her always-on smile was gone for a few seconds. "Let's...let's get inside. I trust your intuition!", she declared confidently, but also a little rushed as she dashed towards the door and figured out how it was locked as well.

Nor good either. Without thinking twice, the padawan glanced up and spotted a half opened, glass window and so she coiled the Force around her while she quickly said to the others, "Let's hurry. I hope this isn't considered trespassing", before jumping up towards the windowsill and then pulling herself up. She had no idea what they would find inside, but not knowing freaked her out and so she pushed the window open before she hopped right in, waiting for the others to follow.

Maura didn't have time to think about Liana's comment, even if normally she would've been all over her about it. Her bad feeling had grown into something much worse, and the only thing on her mind was 'get inside.' She had to see what had happened. Maybe, maybe, since the vision had stopped there, it hadn't gone the way she imagined it might've.

Her hopes weren't all too high.

Halfway to the backdoor, Liana found a half-opened window, so the padawan quickly redirected herself that way. She was up and over the threshold as soon as Liana was out of the way, landing on cold, hard tile in a small but charming little kitchen. While Dante made his way in, she slowly made her way out of the room, anxiety bubbling up in her chest as she prepared to look around the corner.

The scent hit her before the sight. The smell of iron and the stench of death assaulted her before her black eyes peered around the corner and burrowed into the sight of a bloodied, limp body slumped over on the floor. She froze in place, and her arm shot out to block Lia and Dante from immediately rounding the corner.

"He's... dead," she whispered, her voice hardening as she went on. "If you don't want to see it, don't round the corner." She lowered her arm and slowly entered the room fully, approaching the body covered in coagulated blood. She had to pinch her nose. It was nauseating.

"Fuck. Fuck. Fuck." What did they do? Master Kattp explicitly said not to contact him, and he'd removed any means of them doing so. "Do we call the police?" She inched closer to the body. "The knife... is the knife here?" The vision her psychometry had shown her had her holding a knife. Did it get left behind?

"One of you go find the police," she called back to whoever was closest. "I'm gonna look around."

"Fuck, this sucks." Her heart was racing, and her hands were trembling. She had no idea what to do, but she knew they had to help somehow.

His mother would have appreciated the fact that a couple of young women were taking charge and leading this little band of misfit friends. Dante simply sighed and followed the girls. He didn't even need the force to aid him. A good running start, a high jump with a little twist, and he was over. No sooner had he landed on the brick cobble though and he heard Maura's warning.

Being a young curios teen however, he couldn't help but also get close and see what the fuss was about. However when he got near Maura he noticed his new friend looked like she's just taken a Glitterstim. "Hey, you ok?" He asked, completely unaware of his friend's force ability. Hell, he barely knew what he could do.

Suddenly Maura shot to her feet, and Liana said something about seeing something. "Wait...wha....Who's in trouble?" Dante stammered in his utter confusion. But instinctively followed after his two friends. They were all Jedi here, what could be wrong about this. Running into someone's house without so much as probable cause.

Dante was running full title after Maura at this point. He matched her move for move as the suddenly jerked right, jumped and caught the window and was through. He was right behind her when he stopped in the room. That scent hit him the moment Maura made the corner. "Wait..." He shouted. Maura quickly retorted the man being dead. "Yeah...that." he then sighed.

"You two wait here, and don't touch anything." He called as he backed out the way they came. He knew from his father that the more they disturbed a scene the more guilty they could look to the police. One outside, he pulled out Izzy. "Scan the area. See if you can find anything not related to me or the girls." He asked his companion droid as he then pulled his smartpad and dialed for local authorities.

While her Master was busy calling the cops, the little BD unit activated it's little sensors and scanners and hopped around the yard a bit. Until he noticed a little card in the grass near what appeared to be a boot print. Turning, the tiny droid, clicked and jumped to alert her human friend of what she had found.

"Hey, Izzy found something." Dante called out, then walked over to the droid and picked up what appeared to a punch card of all things. With the logo of a food speeder. "Moe's Bowls?"

She was the first on the first level, however her paddie companions soon caught up and Maura was actually the first to press on. Lia couldn't deny that she was slightly stressed out about this situation, especially because she was beginning to realize that this wouldn't be a casual furniture moving...

She had a very bad feeling about this, however, as always, she tried hard to stay positive! They were inside the house after all, so they could save the person in danger, right?! Maura rounded the corner and she moved to follow, however suddenly, as she was reporting back, she stopped.

The colors immediately fade from her face as she began to tremble, a cold shiver running down her spine while her palms felt all cold and sweaty. Her eyes were widened, pupils dilated and her breath held. She had already perceived the smell, yet for a moment she was just frozen while she was somehow...sensing the death.

Panic set in until she remembered to recall her teachings. Fear was a dangerous emotion, related to the dar side, but the truth was that the young, happy padawan hadn't been in contact with death often. "I...well...uhm" she began to stammer, not having built up the courage to take a look, but Dante was already taking care of it.

She was grateful, yet also worried for her friends and so she decided to step forward as well. As her gaze fell upon the body, a gasp escaped her and she had to cover both, mouth and nose while she nervously looked back to the others. "That's...not good. I...I can't believe this is happening...we can't even inform the Master!", she stepped backwards a little, finally whispering "what should be do?". She was speechless actually, but she knew what a true Jedi Knight would do!

She forced herself to breathe and to focus on the light, forcing the tension out of her muscles as she nodded. Dante was already calling the authorities and the droid was scanning the hideous crime scene, so Lia shakily walked into the next room and without touching anything, she tried to look for more evidence until Dante presented his findings.

"I...uh Bowls...okay. Okay okay. We need to stay calm. This is...a trace, potentially. Maybe we should try to investigate it while the police deals with this scene?", she suggested, looking from Dante to Maura. As shocked as she still was, she wanted answers. It was terrible, so so terrible, and a murderer was somewhere around on Berchest so they had to do something, right?! They were Jedi, they had to help the authorities and also she was worried that someone else would fall victim!!

Dante called out for them not to touch anything, and Maura nodded in response. "Yeah, gotcha." They didn't want to leave prints anywhere, or disturb anything that could bear evidence, or mark them as potential suspects. She glanced over to Lia who seemed to be the most freaked out between the three of them, checking to make sure she was able to stay somewhat composed. That seemed to be the case.

"I think we should," she piped up after Lia finished and after she rejoined the two of them over where they were. She'd been unable to find the murder weapon, but she hadn't done much more than glance around since Dante had advised them not to disturb the scene. "But we should talk to the police first. I can tell them what I saw- " In the middle of her sentence, Maura stopped. Would they even believe her? She felt like she had to tell them either way. It could help them find the culprit.

"Let's all go wait by the front," she said, moving toward the front of the building. That way they could meet the police outside.

Her heart was still racing in her chest while she finally took her eyes of the terrible scene and focused on what they had to do. Neither of them could panic. Dante was even younger than she was and so to be a good role model, she had to be professional! They were no detectives, but they could surely help, especially with Maura's psychometrical skills!

Was that the right move though? They obviously couldn't withhold information when it came to the authorities, yet they had to be careful and also ensure that they would even believe them. The Jedi were here to help on this planet, yet not everyone was always so friendly today. "Okaaay". She was still anxious and a little hectic which was demonstrated by the way her tiny body trembled and by how her voice a bit to squeaky again.

"Do you...do you think we should still call the Master? Maybe he will see it somehow. This is not...what should have happened...I can't believe he's...dead", she swallowed, taking a deep breath as she shifted her weight from one foot to the next. So what was this case even about? How could something like this just happen? Outside at the fresh air, she managed to calm down a little, but she was still processing what she had just seen. Just a few moments later they would already hear the sirens of the approaching police and Lia was curious about how this go now.

"You can try," Maura replied with a shrug, the weight of uncertainty tainting her voice. Master Kappt wasn't exactly known for deviating from his word. If he wasn't going to be able to be contacted, well, she didn't expect any less. "It's probably a good idea to leave a message if anything, just in case he gets out early or something," she added.

The sirens grew closer and closer, and before long a pair of Berchest cops had arrived before the little unassuming house. They didn't look like they knew what to make of the situation, and before the one who approached with an open mouth could actually ask any question, Maura gave them the rundown.

"We're here doing goodwill stuff. The guy that lived here - we were supposed to come here and help him with moving some stuff. When we went inside though, I found his... body."

"Did you find anything at the scene of the crime, or touch anything?"

Maura thought about the pin in her pocket, and whatever Dante had found. "Er, no... but we did touch the window," she added cheekily.

The cop raised an eyebrow, shook his head, and scribbled something down. "Alright, we'll take it from here. We'll need you to come in and make statements at some point, but that's all we need from you at the moment."

"Wait! Let us help with the investigation."

"Absolutely not," chimed in the other cop. "No offense, but we don't need a bunch of Jedi teenagers getting in our way."
