She nervously glanced from one padawan to the next, nodding in the end because Maura had a point. "I will, I will". She frantically started dialing his number before hectically pacing from left to right. Biting her lip, she glanced at the others, but it was only the mailbox who answered. "Master...we are...there was an incident. We need to deviate from the plan as all we found was a crime scene. Please call us back immediately...". She wasn't adding too many details, afraid maybe someone would intercept the call, or wait, what if someone even targeted the master?! She had a bad feeling about it.

She ended the call and walked back to the others, softly tugging at Maura's sleeve as she lowered her voice. "What if this was a setup? Maybe even the Master is in trouble..." She wanted the others to consider this options as the thought had crossed her mind, yet her naturally optimistic mind space immediately drifting off to something else. No. The Master was fine and this was a bad coincidence. They could still help though!

Lia let Maura handle the cops, but as they finally told them to stay out of it, she immediately raised a brow. She could understand their statement. They thought they were nothing but teens, but the truth was, that they could be useful helpers! Just like Jedi were supposed to be! So no...there was no there option. She nodded obediently as the cop walked off, however then she immediately turned to the others again. "We can't mess around, they are right about that. But I feel like we could really help! We found the card after all...". She was not blindly going to disrespect the authorities, but she was an optimistic, curious teenager and maybe they could do some investigating without crossing their work...

Maura was not happy that the police had no intention of letting them help, but at the same time, she had no intention of actually listening to them and staying out of their way. They had the card, they had the pin. If they stuck their noses in enough places or if Maura could get her psychometry to work for her instead of against her, maybe they had a chance at helping. She'd set her mind to it, and Lia seemed to be on the same page.

"Oh don't worry, we're definitely not leaving this alone," Maura told Lia with a hidden smile. They'd already started walking away, but Maura stopped about a block down the road and turned to face the others. "Why don't we start by checking out that place Dante found? Boe's Mowls?" Maura squinted at the card they'd found, then corrected herself. "Oh, Moe's Bowls." She suppressed her want to giggle. This was a serious situation. Serious, Maura. Serious.

"But is everyone doing okay?" They had just found a dead body, talked to the police, and were now beginning to formulate a plan to look for the culprit. Normally Maura would just keep on trucking ahead, but Lia seemed nervous. Maura was just now noticing it.

Despite having just witnessed something cruel and terrible, she couldn't stiffle a chuckle at Maura's twisting of words that had resulted in a funny name. "Yes bowls...the bowls. Hmm...we should definitely start there, but I wonder whether someone had accidentally lost that card or whether we've actually got a trace", she mused aloud, pursuing her lips for a moment as she mentally recapitulate everything they had gathered so far before nodding. "Yes. I'm fine...although a little unsettled...this got out of hand quickly", she admitted. She had to face that feeling, yet keep it controlled, but so far she was fine.

This weird feeling in the pit of her stomach would probably linger for a while, but they could really help finding the culprit! Fine, everything was fine! "Let's go!", she exclaimed, however mamanging to lower her voice accordingly in the last moment in order to avoid alerting the cops. She pulled out her NalPhone and looked for this bowl place while already starting to leave the property. "There! Bingo! It's just a seven minutes walk", she then informed the others, a soft, but genuinely triumphantly smile crossing her lips. The prospect of helping solving the case excited her, but what drove her was that the three of them could maybe stop the murderer before harming others.

Lia chuckled, which broke Maura's determination to not. The blonde hid her mouth behind her hand to stifle it a bit, and nodded when Lia said she was fine. "That's good," she acknowledged. It wasn't long before they were off toward Moe's Bowls, and not much longer before they arrived.

"Let's see if we can find anyone wearing a pin that matches this," Maura suggested, showing the other two the golden pin that had clued her in on this situation in the first place. It had a little bowl and five stars against a dark colored enamel background. "Maybe it'll help us narrow the search down?"/b]

Maura turned to Dante next. "Why don't you head back to the hotel and see if Master Kappt is there? Or try to reach him at the meeting wherever he is?" She suggested. "Lia and I will keep you updated."

Once the younger teen agreed, Maura would look at Lia, nod, then enter the building.

Before they left the house and thus the crime scene behind, she glanced over her shoulder one last time, making sure the police weren't watching them closely to insist they'd stay off this case, but it seemed like all cops minded their own business while attending to their investigations.

Was it bad that they were planning on disregarding their command? Probably...but teens were simply not good at following rules. Lia usually wasn't such a rebel, but she was convinced they could figure that out without all the slow bureaucracy! "That should be the place" she quietly remarked as they reached the shop that looked fairly inconspicuous from the outside.

She was honestly relieved that Dante was sent off because despite him seeming relatively composed, he wasn't as experienced as they were and was still younger. "Be safe and take care, Dante", she told him, pulling him into a brief hug before she nodded to Maura. "Yes, pin. Alright let's go". Dark background, bowl, five stars, golden.

She stepped inside had greeted the shop owner in a friendly way before she started looking around attentively. 'We shouldn't get seperated', she telepathically told Maura as she threw her a quick glance before she ensured she wasn't straying off too far. It didn't take long before her gaze fell upon a middle aged man wearing a pin that looked indeed similar. 'Uh...one, two, three - ah yes, four o'clock. The one with the brown jacket. Do you see that too?'.
