— Summary

Eternal wanderer, Shaira was born on Sverend to a pair of Tieflings from Abelor who never stayed anywhere long. In time, the girl would come to understand her father for what he was: a Jedi in exile, wandering do-gooder, always moving on to the next world, the next crisis, before the people had a chance to convince him to stay.

Young Shaira grew used to the migrant life, and in turn manifested her own Force powers under her father’s tutelage. As the years went on between Brentaal, Taanab, Saleucami and Kashyyyk, she learned her father’s history with the Jedi piece by piece, though she knew not to ask too many questions. When he died, however, Shaira made the difficult choice to leave her mother and seek out the Order for answers and to perfect her training.

If it hadn’t been so idle, Shaira might have stayed with them for life. But quickly she realized, much like her father, that her place was not with them. Not quite two years after her arrival, Shaira found herself wanting more than the Order allowed. She packed her meager possessions and left, old keepsakes and brand new saberstaff, already knowing her purpose.

On Sverend where she was born Shaira collected herself in a month’s time. Then she resumed her father’s quest. Planet to planet, endlessly following the infinite chain of people in need of help, packing her life with her and never knowing where she would sleep that night. And when word reached her of unrest within the Jedi Order, as others banded in the face of the Council’s inaction, Shaira considered anew her association with them...

Focused and prone to action; an air of restlessness. Vaguely nostalgic. More than vaguely spiritual. Often concise, sometimes quiet, but doesn’t forget to live.

A Jedi knight, with all that entails. Something of a generalist, balanced focus between lightsaber skills and Force powers. Budding affinity for elemental powers. Shaira is also a survivalist, resourceful and endurant, and has spent most of her life connecting with the common people of the galaxy.
