Hated widely by school kids and graduates alike, I think it's bloody brilliant. Your thoughts?

Liked Macbeth at the time, disliked Much Ado About Nothing. Then, grew to like them.

I've only read 'The Merchant of Venice' (Grade 9 Engligh).

Not bad stuff, but I have trouble getting used to the 'thee and thine' sort of words.

Shakespeare has written quite a few amazing plays, and quite a few shit poor ones. Coincidentally, school kids learn them both for no reason.

I also agree with the conspiracy theorists out there. I believe William Shakespeare was a pseodonym.

It means he thinks it's a fake name.

For example: Mark Twain = Samuel Clemons

I love Shakespeare's works. They are really good in my opinion. And as an actor I love being in them. This year we are doing Merry Wives of Windsor.

Shakespeare is pretty nifty, Macbeth, Hamlet, and pretty much all his historical plays are really good.

His plays aren't too bad, most of them anyway. I've read some of Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, and some of his sonnets, and I've seen a play of Tempest.

Eh, I'm a fan of shakespeare, though I think the Characters in his tragedies are a bit to whiney. I don't even want to know the inspirations behind them.

Second thought, does anyone know how old Hamlet is? My 12 Grade Honours english class foguht for three days about his age.

Shakespere uses a cryptic, annoying form of english, he's boring, uninteresting, and they force us to study him in school. :CStern:
