The pair of nobles argued back and forth, causing an internal groan to radiate under the Echani's breath. Browne was a moderately powerful man on Allenteen, but he could clearly see how quickly his power and authority would wane, going from his position to that hidden beneath layers of imperial bureaucracy.
Browne sat there quietly contemplating the latest offer. It was a subtle threat laced with a promise, but a threat nonetheless. Caelian walked slowly, making his way past the corner of the lord's desk and placing himself just behind the man without making a sound. Caerllion would see a pair of hands come to rest upon Browne's shoulders, causing the latter to shudder under the now very real threat.
"Of..Of course, they would. But they wouldn't know what to do with such a position, you need someone with my experience and reach." They'd successfully rattled the man and brought him around to their side, at least for now. All Caer needed to do now was lay out the terms and ensure the man became complicit in their plan, to ensure that he wouldn't budge the minute the Sith left the room.
Somehow he'd have to convince the rest of the barons to go along with the plan, but once that was done they would have one of three of the necessary components to secure the world for the Empire. Caelian smiled, with only his companion able to see.

rolled 13, he's convinced but not fanatically as the threats work
