The sound of the trees collapasing took him a moment to recover, the blur of movement in front of him where the Jawas was previosuly standing, and cracking sounds of lightsabers igniting caused Aj to enter into the mindset of battle.

The trees became a secondary concern, as he saw two orbs flying in his and Nuala's direction. Seeing her jumping away from the the two massive trees, he focused his energy jumping backwards to avoid the towering trunks of the trees. The speed of his movement caused his hat to fall to the leaf covered ground in front of where he was previously standing. Too close. He thought to himself, seeing the trees crush his hat. A fiery inferno enguled the area to where the two had been standing as well. Grenades? The Sith had brought a lot of heavy equipment for this mission.

The ignition of the weapons by the Sith attacking Tsume caused great alarm to Aj. He focused for a brief second on the lanky figure that was leaping to attack his lupine companion. An Umbaran? The characters of the situation could not be any different First a Jawa, now an Umbaran. I wonder what the other guy was. The only bright side to the whole situation was that the ensuing explosion of the grenades would cause a great flash that would likely cause the Umbaran to be stunned, because of their sensitivity to light. He had to focus on what was coming at him though for the moment.

Turning to face the enemy at their rear, Aj could see the green and red blades cutting the underbrush as he approached. With his cyan blade in hand, Aj began running at the opponent. Though his Soresu form was limited to defense primarily, he learned during his sparring session that sometimes offensive action was required to engage his form to the highest level of efficency.

Approaching his target, Aj noticed the figures distinct features. Alarmed by the red skin color and the tusks on his face, he planned his attack approach. Striking high diagonally from left to right that would be blocked by either of the blades, he would immediately move to strike in the same motion from below. These attacks were simple, but so was Soresu. He would make a stab at the mans left shoulder following the prievous strikes hoping to cause his opponent to move and begin exchanging blows. He would try and wear him down as much as possible for that was the real strength of his saber form.

This mission just got a lot more complicated.

A sharp cackle escaped Melhi’s lips as he stared at the flames that licked the dry branches of the trees creating a thick dark smoke that blended with the bright flames. Heat. That was something that Melhi loved, and even though he wasn’t that close to the jumping flames, he could steal feel the warmth that was coming off of them. The thick smoke was perfect for what he had in mind. This was not chaos. This was the perfect environment for those who thrived on the destruction of others. He could almost hear the dying breaths of the trees that were being burned to crisps.

This was his element. Heat, and a thick dark smoke that handed him darkness. If he hadn’t been wearing the gas mask, anyone looking at him would have seen a horrific smirk that stretched the scars on the right side of his face making him look all the more fearsome than he already was.

The Elomin watched as his two companions started the attack on the monstrosity who was now cut off from his two companions by the giant trees that were engulfed in fire. ‘Enjoy yourselves.’ He thought and flicked his eyes back to the two on the other side. One of them was advancing towards him. How… disappointing. He would have hoped that he would have at least hurt him with the trees, at least the other looked dazed in her position still by the tree that she had climbed out of just before the blaze had started. Pity. If she had died in the flames it would have been brilliant. He would have loved to hear screams.

As the human approached him, the demon reached for the force as he had been taught once the smoke had completely surrounded the Jedi and the Sith. The force was like lights to those who knew the technique. Lights meant for shaping into things. Oh how useful was the smoke. Melhi hadn’t yet perfected the technique of creating illusions, but with the smoke it be almost as if he had. Darth Umbra, the dead sith lord, had surely taught him useful things.

He created shadows in the smoke that seemed to be emerging from the forest behind him with the glow of lightsabers in their hands. It was clear that he wasn’t a master of this technique, but hopefully the appearance of the humanoid shadows with lightsabers would disturb the Jedi enough so that they could destroy them. Melhi made some of them approach Nuala, so that she would not be tempted to approach him as well.

With the alterations Melhi was making in the smoke, there were no longer only three sith in the area. There were six. Three approaching Nuala. Briefly, Melhi wondered if he should make more of them for other areas, but he decided against it, so that he could concentrate on them while also fighting the opponent who's blades were now coming towards him.

Such a simple movement of attack; one diagonal strike down, and then one up with a single blade. Melhi raised a hairless eye-brow at his jedi opponent spinning away from the attack and lifting his longer red blade to block the attack almost lazily. Simple moves like those wouldn’t work against him, not unless they were used in complex motions. Not with who his master being the Shadow Hand of the Sith and a blade master. Melhi was learning so much from the fearsome Zabrak.

The Demon jumped backwards a little bit, before spinning forward his longer red blade aiming quick repetitive attacks at his opponent before he jumped again from his position on the higher ground, still spinning, both of his blades taking swoops from opposite sides of his opponents body. His green blade went for the right side of the neck and down, while his other red blade pulled up from the right side of his opponents waist.

An invisible force slammed into his back, shooting him upward into the air. He would not allow the sith to gain control. His knowledge of the force would make him fully capable to defend himself against these guile sith, and though he knew it was quite possible for them to cut him down, he would not allow his ferocity to diminish. The fatal mistake they had made was believing he was a lot stupider then he actually was, when compared to other Shistavanens, his intellect was actually quite high. He could think his master, Ayva for this, along with his time with the other Jedi.

Instinct, along with senses warned him of the oncoming assault, along with the very distinct sound of grenades, which caused his ears to ring, and a humming weapon of the sith. Imbuing his limbs with the supremed power of the force, he nimbly, quickly, twisted into a corkscrew, but, a bit disoriented by the force blast and grenades, he was a bit to late. The shimmering red blade cut through the flesh of his shoulder and arched down his forearm. A sudden flash of pain nearly blinded him, but he soon recovered, combining natural pain resistance with that he learned with the sith. The wound was long, but shallow, and his natural healing ability was likely to have the whole thing sealed up and healed in about two hours. Hopefully, the skirmish would be over by then.

Tsume's massive side was both an advantage, and a disadvantage. His massive side didn't burden him much, he was still fast and nimble, but he was also a bigger target, his supreme strength making him the one to kill. His size made him easier to hit. But it also aloud him to quickly overpower and subdue opponents, except maybe wookies, and others of his own race.

As he spun, he noticed the new opponent waiting for him on the ground. Tsume longed to avoid an engagement with both acolytes at the same, and was determined to do just that. He was only following instinct. His arm throbbed, but it would heal quickly, he only hoped it wouldnt become to much of a distraction. Unfortunetly, it may take time to grow back all that fur, but he would haveca mighty scar to show for it. He saw his new opponent reaching for the force, and decided to do the same, refusing to be disoriented again. His head was still fuzzy from the last blast.

As he fell, he outstretched a hand and used to force to push him away from the ground, into the air and away from the acolyte's lethal clutches. He touched down several feet away, and sought to use this as an advantage on his opponent. Though his senses were stretched wide, preparing for an attack by any of the other sith.

Tsume charged forward, sapphire blade humming with power, and used the force to quicken his movement considerably, closing the gap between them in mere seconds. As he closed in, he pivoted to his right and brought his saber up to slam into the red of his opponents, hoping brute strength would help to subdue the acolyte, who then launched a flurry of various attacks.

With the aid of the force, he managed to parry and dodge most of the attacks, but there were plenty of close calls. When, finally, there was a break in his deadly assault, Tsume stepped in, thrusting his saber into his opponents and hooking it beneath the red of the acolytes blade. Flicking his wrist, he attempted a disarm, but now what Tsume was really preparing for, was another surprise attack from the smaller sith. He kept his feet firmly apart, ready to swing around at the slightest of sounds.

I'm assuming that Force Illusion is what's being used here. According to Wookieepedia, most solid objects pass right through the illusions. So I believe that this is a legal way to counter that. If not, let me know and I'll edit accordingly.

Amid the smoke and debris aftermath of those grenades, Nuala found herself confronted with shadows. Shadows that hovered on the edges of the battle zone and looked at her menacingly. She held her ground for a moment and frowned at them. Something about this didn't seem right... best to check. Her hand cut through space and a wave of force push spread forward to smack against the intimidating specters. None of them so much as moved, much less flinched.

And they certainly didn't send a return bolt of energy in her direction, which meant that she wasn't dealing with the real deal, here. Someone was trying to mess with her head. Figured.

The sounds of lightsaber against lightsaber caught her attention-- now that definitely wasn't an illusion. Nuala turned away from the aberrations or illusions or whatever they were and began to move. The Sith were trying to separate them for easy pickings; Nuala wasn't about to let that happen. She skirted the edge of the downed trees and tried to circle about to where the fighting had to be.

As she ran, Nuala began drawing the force out of the area and into her hands. She didn't know what she was going to be running into; so it was going to pay to be prepared. The end of the massive log was in sight. Now all she had to do was slip around it. Her free hand shot forward to grasp the rough bark of a tree branch, that gave her the needed anchor to twist about the corner quickly and quietly.

Tsume was fighting the Jawa from earlier. Wonderful. Problem was that there had to be another Sith around here somewhere. Someone had to have dropped these trees on them-- the Jawa couldn't have done that.

But one thing at a time. Nuala charged forward to join the fray and brandished her lightsaber. At the same time, she put some of her creativity and pent-up force to good use. She grabbed onto the ground beneath the midget Jawa's feet and gave it a solid yank, pulling the loose dirt and mud out from underneath the Jawa.

"Your party stinks, Sith! Almost about as much as you do!" She shouted, closing in to lightsaber range.

Snikch ran at the exposed back of tsume after the flip and landing a flurry of spinning attacks angled at all points and zones of the wolves' body, not only was there his wide powerful saber to deal with but the liquid lightsaber energy flying off the blades especially past potential blocks should his blade collide with anothers.

Snikch attacked with deadly precision as the fire spread around tsume and had engulfed the canopy from the lovely center bonfire. Snikch felt the force gather from the likes of another so he flipped dramatically backward dropping a frag grenade, which was pulled with the force of nualas pull. Snikch focused on the grenade through the force and added his own push to the velocity resonating from within the grenade forcing it to explode in middair near the girl.

All the while, though he flipped back from the beast that was tsume, Snikch felt no fear at all. This oversized wolf was nothing to him. The force around him resonated a little with the flame... Holding out a hand and bidding his opponent forward to attack he stood on high guard... His force reserves were quite healthy right now... And his cunning was never sharper.

(Sorry for the crappy reply, my entire post just got DELETED. You have NO CLUE how FURIOUS I am. SEVEN paragraphs!!!)

Tsume engaged in his deadly dance once more, sensing the attack and whirling around, saber cutting through air as it moved to intercept. For several moments they hacked and slashed at each other, he mostly in defense and the Sith because he wanted to dice Tsume intoned tiny peaces.

The fire spread quickly, he grew nervousness, of course, but it took his a while to even notice it. He used to be so afraid he would freeze up, now he enjoyed the warmth and peaceful cackling. Mostly because of Ayva's feel-the-force-and-be-at-peace sessions. One time, he was camping out in the wilderness on a mission. He held his hand over the fire, curious, and his fur caught ablaze. Thanks to his thick fur and tough skin, he barely realized what was happening. Fire spread quickly through his fur, but he always distinguished it before it burrowed its way to his skin. He didn't dare get so close again.

Despite to focused to actually be afraid, he couldn't help but be nervous, and was relieved when the Sith lept back. He glanced at the fire, his red eyes gleaming brilliantly in the tremulous light, then curled his lip in amusement when it didn't harm him, threw back his head, and laughed a hearty laugh, mostly because he was enjoying himself, not because he was relieved.

Now it was his turn. Still smiling, he launched himself at his opponent, and like the sith before him began a flurry of blinding stabs and slashes. He found himself giggling as he thought two deadly vipers, each one striking at the other just as quickly and precicely. One wrong move and you were dead.

The two blades in his hands spun angrily, slicing into the dirt making sparks that leapt into the fires around the Elomin. He was disappointed that the trees he had felled had not had much of an effect, particularly when the Jedi girl quickly made out that his smoke apparitions were not, in fact, real. He grumbled inside, and sped towards where both Jedi were now fighting his small companion.

“Such a petty insult.” Melhi spat, loudly for her to hear, spinning his blades loosely in anticipation. “Is that what Jedi fall back on now? Insults?” He almost stifled a laugh as his dark eyes bore into Nuala watching her carefully for her moves when the grenade exploded by her and once it was safe he rushed towards her. Pulling his blades so that one was slicing downwards, the other upwards.
